The Multiverse Hunter

Chapter 179: Chapter 179

Mark glanced back at Ali with a grim expression, his face hard as stone. 'I've encountered killers, soldiers, and monsters in my time... but him... he's on a completely different level, he thought. The weight of Ali's presence alone was suffocating.

"I'll kill every soldier I pass by," Mark said firmly, the words not a declaration but an acknowledgement of Ali's command.

With that, he turned and leapt from the roof, using his teleportation ability to disappear into the distance, leaving Ali behind.

Ali wasted no time, immediately shifting his focus back to the hunt. His dark veins pulsed as he crouched, his body coiling like a spring before exploding forward with inhuman speed.

With each jump, he crossed entire streets, rooftops crumbling beneath the force of his landing. Slight bursts of telekinesis kept his movements precise and efficient as he closed in on his next target—a towering ten-meter titan that lumbered aimlessly through the streets.

The ground shook beneath the titan's massive feet, sending cracks spidering through the stone road. Ali's eyes narrowed as he adjusted his trajectory, but just then, movement caught his attention.

Two humans swung through the air with ODM gear, their steel cables hooking onto nearby buildings as they zeroed in on another titan.

"You go from the left, and I'll attack its right!" one soldier yelled to his comrade, the urgency in his voice barely masking his fear.

The second soldier nodded, firing his grappling hook into another building and swinging wide to flank the giant. They moved in synchronised arcs, expertly manoeuvring to box in their target.

BOOOOOOM

A thunderous crash echoed through the district, shaking the soldiers mid-flight.

Confused, they looked ahead to see the ten-meter titan collapse face-first into the ground, its head nearly severed from its body. Smoke and steam rose from the deep wound, the clean slice far beyond anything their blades could accomplish.

"What the hell—?" one soldier began before his words caught in his throat.

A black flash tore through the air, slicing through the neck of the titan they'd been chasing. The giant's grotesque grin faltered before its head split cleanly in two, steam pouring from the wound as it collapsed to the ground.

In the centre of it all, Ali stood unmoving, his crimson quinque glowing faintly in his hand. His sharp black eyes flicked to the soldiers as they grappled to a halt midair, their expressions frozen in shock.

CRACK. CRACK.

Both soldiers clawed at their throats, their faces turning pale as an invisible force tightened around their necks. Their gasping screams were silent as their windpipes collapsed under the pressure.

Moments later, their limp bodies fell lifelessly to the ground below, their ODM gear clattering uselessly against the cobblestones.

Ali didn't spare them another glance as he approached the fallen titan. In a single fluid motion, he brought his quinque down in a sweeping arc, severing the nape of the giant's neck. Steam hissed as the titan's body went still, confirming its death.

"Monster... what is that?"

Across the city, a young sniper crouched atop the wall, his light green hair ruffling in the wind as he peered through the glowing scope of his advanced rifle.

The sniper barrel shimmered faintly with blue light, charging an electrical shot that hummed with destructive potential.

The sniper's keen eyes followed Ali's movements through the city, struggling to keep up with his incredible speed. "I can't miss," the sniper muttered, his fingers adjusting the scope with surgical precision.

"Commander, do you see him?" a nearby soldier asked, holding his binoculars to his face. Beside him, the bald commander clenched his jaw as he observed the battlefield through a handheld scope.

"I see him," the commander muttered darkly. His eyes widened as he watched Ali cleave through another titan, but it was the next sight that sent a chill down his spine.

Ali swung his massive red longsword at a human soldier, cleaving the man cleanly in two. The two halves of the soldier's body fell to opposite sides of the street, blood pooling beneath them.

"He's not just killing titans... he's slaughtering our men," the commander growled, his hand tightening around the scope. "Issue a command-kill him on sight."

Meanwhile, in another part of the city, Mikasa stared in confusion at a rogue titan barreling through the streets. The massive creature swung its fists with primal ferocity, smashing another titan into the side of a building with a sickening crunch.

"What is it doing?" she muttered, her hand gripping her ODM gear controls. Behind her, Armin followed closely, his eyes fixated on the rogue titan's every move.

Far above them, atop another section of the wall, a short man with sharp black hair crouched with precision. Levi's eyes scanned the city below as one of his scouts relayed a message from a soldier.

"A stranger... killing both titans and our soldiers," the scout reported, his voice laced with unease.

Levi's expression darkened. "Let's go," he ordered, rising from his crouch. Without hesitation, he and his team leapt from the wall, their ODM gear firing grappling hooks as they descended rapidly toward the chaos below.

While the scouts approached, Ali continued his relentless hunt. Titan after titan fell to his blade as he moved through the city like a predator among prey.

The eastern side of the city was already a graveyard of fallen titans, their massive corpses strewn across the rubble-strewn streets.

'That's thirty-five', Ali thought coldly, standing over the lifeless body of a seven-meter titan. Steam hissed from the fresh wound in its neck as he turned his gaze toward the western side of the city, where more titans still roamed.

BOOM.

Ali launched himself into the air, his legs propelling him with such force that the tiles of the rooftop he'd stood on shattered and flew in all directions. His enhanced strength and telekinesis made him a blur of motion as he sprinted across the rooftops, covering blocks in seconds.

"Damn it, he's moving again!" the sniper cursed, struggling to track Ali's movement through his scope.

Ali zipped past another titan, slashing his quinque through its neck as he passed.

The titan's head fell forward as the back of it's neck wasn't there anymore to support the head, its body crumpling to the ground as All landed on another roof.

'It's like slaughtering livestock', Ali thought. The titans were slow, brainless, and pathetically weak compared to the foes he'd faced before.

But then, Ali sensed something— a presence closing in from behind.

He ducked instinctively, narrowly avoiding a sharp blade that slashed through the air where his head had been. Without missing a beat, Ali spun, raising his quinque just in time to block another attack aimed at his side.

CRACK.

The attacker's sword shattered against Ali's weapon, the broken blade flying off in shards. Ali landed gracefully on a nearby rooftop, his sharp eyes locking onto the source of the attacks.

Five scouts landed on nearby rooftops, their ODM gear hissing as they secured their positions.

Each one held their blades at the ready, their postures tense but prepared.

Then, a sixth figure descended, landing on the roof opposite Ali with a calm and deliberate grace. This man was shorter than the others, but his presence commanded attention. His dual blades rested lightly in his hands.

"Drop your weapons and surrender," Levi ordered, his voice low and precise.

B0000000000M.

Before Ali could respond, a massive charge of energy tore through the building behind him, the sniper's shot traveling with deadly precision. Ali didn't turn. Instead, he extended his hand, the Force rippling as he caught the charge mid-air.

The electrical energy surged violently before detonating, releasing a shockwave that obliterated the rooftop Ali stood on and engulfed the area in a thick cloud of smoke and rubble.
