The Rich Second-Generation Villain With No Morals

Chapter 23:

Chapter 23:

Lan Yuxi’s father had an official car, but she had never ridden in it.

Her father was an extremely principled person and never misused government resources.

So Lan Yuxi had only ridden in private cars a few times.

But this kind of car with a luxurious interior and adjustable leather seats.

The cool air from the vents blew through the hair strands on the girl’s temples, making Lan Yuxi’s face look pleased.

The weather outside was too hot, and no one could resist the temptation of air conditioning.

“Ouch!”

But suddenly, Lan Yuxi shouted.

Qi Lin had already started the car and stepped on the accelerator to the floor. The acceleration clocking in at 4.2 seconds for a hundred meters, and the strong feeling of pushing back made Lan Yuxi panic.

“Haha!”

Seeing Lan Yuxi so frightened, Qi Lin laughed heartily.

“Qi Lin, you’re so cruel. How can you feel so happy by bullying girls like this?” Lan Yuxi glared at Qi Lin with dissatisfaction.

“This kind of bullying wouldn’t make me happy. But if you and I go to a hotel one day, that’s what I call exciting.” Qi Lin said with a playful tone.

“Ugh! Disgusting! Who would go to such a place with you? Dream on!” Lan Yuxi blushed angrily.

This was infuriating.

Did he think she didn’t understand anything? She knew what love hotels were.

She would give her first time only to her husband and no one else.

“Who knows what the future holds?” Qi smirked confidently and stopped arguing.

“Where are you taking me anyway?”

Lan Yuxi’s tone became impatient.

Staying with Qi Lin meant getting annoyed twice for every sentence. If this continued, she might get annoyed to death.

“We’re here. Get out now and sit in the back.” Qi Lin said.

Lan Yuxi hesitated for a moment, then looked out the window. She noticed it was a residential area with small two-story houses. Qi Lin had said he was picking someone up, and now that they arrived, he wanted her to sit in the back. Did the person he was picking up live here?

“Making me sit in the back again. Could it be that the person you’re picking up is a girl?” Lan Yuxi felt unhappy.

Girls were like that.

Even though she disliked Qi Lin, she would still feel uncomfortable if he pushed her to the back seat for another girl.

“Well, let’s wait and see what happens; if it’s a girl, and it’s a girl that this asshole likes, I’ll purposely say nasty things about him so that that girl will hate him and let this jerk taste what it’s like to be annoyed.”

Thinking to herself, Lan Yuxi got out of the car and sat in the back.

After lunch, Wang Cheng took a nap at home.

When the alarm clock rang, he stretched lazily and prepared to go to school. However, when he reached the door, Wang Cheng was stunned.

There was a luxury car parked outside his house. This luxury car was all too familiar to Wang Cheng—it was none other than his ‘good brother’ Qi Lin’s car.

“Didn’t this dog and I have an argument? Why is he here to pick me up now?”

Wang Cheng was puzzled, not understanding what Qi Lin was up to.

“Forget it, no matter what he thinks, people who do not sit idle for nothing. It’s better to continue to be a superficial brother. When I find the opportunity, I must ruthlessly slaughter this dog and get back the loss he suffered from him.”

Smiling from ear to ear, Wang Cheng got into the car, opened the door, and sat in the passenger seat.

“Qi Lin, I’m really sorry about this morning. I was unreasonable and said the wrong thing.”

“I thought you were going to ignore me, but I didn’t expect you to still be willing to acknowledge me as your brother and come to pick me up for school. I’m really touched.”

As soon as he got into the car, Wang Cheng pulled out his hypocritical act, first apologizing formally, then trying to build a brotherly relationship with Qi Lin.

He didn’t notice someone sitting in the back.

He also didn’t see the tense figure of Lan Yuxi, who was staring at his back as if she had seen a ghost.

Lan Yuxi never expected that the person Qi Lin was picking up would be Wang Cheng.

The person she agreed to be his girlfriend, as long as they both got into the same university. If Qi Lin had told her beforehand that he was going to pick up Wang Cheng, Lan Yuxi would definitely have run away.

Now, watching Wang Cheng’s back, she didn’t even dare breathe loudly, afraid Wang Cheng would discover her.

What would the two people who liked each other think if Wang Cheng found out she was in Qi Lin’s car?

Qi Lin glanced in the rearview mirror, seeing Lan Yuxi’s nervous face and tense body. His lips curled into a wicked smile.

“Seriously, Wang Cheng, I was quite upset this morning. I treated you like a brother, spent hundreds of yuan on you, and in the end, you argued with me for a couple hundred yuan. It really hurt my feelings…” Qi Lin said slowly with a sad expression.

“Then, why did you still come to pick me up?” After hearing Qi Lin’s words, Wang Cheng looked at him puzzled.

“It’s all because Class Monitor talked to me… After school, Class Monitor found me, treated me to lunch, and comforted me, telling me not to argue with you and be more generous.”

“Honestly, if anyone else were telling me these things, I would have slapped them already. But Class Monitor, she’s so beautiful. I’ve had a crush on her for a long time. Smelling her sweet fragrance, hearing her advice, I actually came to see things clearly.”

“You’re right. A true brother wouldn’t argue over a few hundred yuan, but a woman could, right? So, I forgive you now, and I’ll pick you up for school from now on.”

Qi Lin spoke in a high-spirited tone, as if someone had truly persuaded him.

But after hearing these words, Wang Cheng’s fists were clenched so tightly, and his face turned iron blue.
