The Rise of the Titan

Chapter 571: Chapter 571: Torn Wings

"Should we help the Seraphim fighting that Titan?"

"Help whom?" A handsome Holy Angel gave his companion a sidelong glance, as if looking at an idiot.

"Of course, the Seraphim!" A beautiful and graceful female Holy Angel said dreamily. Seraphim held an extraordinary attraction for angels, as the angelic race was created in imitation of the Seraphim.

"If you want to die, go ahead. But don't drag us along," another Holy Angel interjected.

"With our strength, if we get hit by the shockwaves from their clashes, we could be blown apart. So, let's just watch from here. What business do a bunch of little angels have interfering in a fight between a Titan and a Seraphim?"

"Do nothing?" The female Holy Angel hesitated. "Isn't that wrong?"

"What's wrong with it?" A Holy Angel retorted. "Is the Titan fighting the Seraphim evil?"

"No."

"Then there you go. Just stay back and watch like the dragons."

...

The battle between Muria and the Seraphim was terrifying, and their battlefield was a relatively enclosed demiplane. So, any creature within the demiplane with a bit of strength could feel it.

Including the noble hunters who had come to this place, the bold ones approached the battlefield, while the timid ones ran in the opposite direction. Even the demiplane's ruler, the Insect Overlord, was awakened and stealthily approached.

However, even those who reached the edge of the battlefield could only see a blinding white hemispherical dome on the ground, emanating waves of terrifying battle energy. Beyond that, they could see nothing.

"What's the situation inside? We can't see anything!" Princess Felicia of the Dragons frowned, looking worriedly at the dome.

"Princess, that Titan is here to trouble you!" Seeing Felicia's worried expression, Ling, disguised as a blue-haired maid, reminded her, "You're on the wrong side."

"I know. I stole his dragon that he raised! It's fine. I'll return the dragon, and the trouble will be over," Princess Felicia's blue diamond-like eyes swirled, seemingly thinking of something interesting.

"Half-blood..." Meanwhile, Seventh Princess Gladys, also watching the battle, had a complex and conflicted expression. This was far beyond her initial expectations, leaving her mind in turmoil, neglecting the nobles gathered around her.

...

The external disturbances had nothing to do with Muria. They wouldn't interfere with his fight with Elish.

"Why do you look so surprised?" Muria gripped the Sun-Spear, its other end completely embedded in Elish's abdomen. Elish's armor was covered in cuts and nearing its limit, unable to defend against Muria's straightforward thrust.

In contrast, Muria's Sacred Radiance Abyss was in much better shape. Though also damaged with some dents and deformations, it was far superior to the Seraphim's shredded armor.

"Where did you get so many legendary weapons? You're just a half-blood; why?" Elish's face twisted with resentment. "It's not fair."

"As my enemy, you talk to me about fairness?" Muria released the Sun-Spear, and with an open hand, the Hell-Suppressing Halberd, which he had let go of in a previous clash, flew back into his grip.

"Clang!" The Hell-Suppressing Halberd swept across, and the already shredded armor of Elish couldn't withstand it. Elish's arm, still protected by relatively intact arm guards, blocked the halberd's edge.

With one strike, Elish felt as if his arm was about to explode. In fact, his arm's skin cracked with countless fissures, leaking pale golden blood mist, looking extremely miserable.

"Boom!" As Elish blocked this strike, Muria swung the War-Breaking Axe-Gun down on him, but it was blocked by Elish's legendary spear, the Light of Glory. However, Muria's tail swung out, and a foot landed on Elish's body simultaneously.

Elish was sent flying within his own domain, despite being empowered, trailing pale golden blood mist, looking exceptionally wretched.

Soon, in the land covered by his domain, tiny sparks of holy light appeared and merged into his body, quickly healing the injuries inflicted by Muria.

"Hmph!" When Elish tried to grab the Sun-Spear to pull it out of his abdomen, he let out a groan of intense pain. He couldn't pull it out. A Titan's exclusive weapon couldn't be moved without the owner's permission, unless it was destroyed.

"I can feel it, the power of divine laws!" Feeling the ripping pain spreading through his chest and abdomen, Elish stopped touching the Sun-Spear and looked at Muria with deepening eyes. "Is this why you can match me?"

"No, this is one of the reasons I can thrash you," Muria corrected him.

"Half-blood Titan, witness my true power!" Holy white flames engulfed Elish's body. His wings ignited, and his form began to glow, radiating a divine aura. The Sun-Spear embedded in his abdomen was slowly pushed out, finally making a resentful hum as it returned to Muria's hand.

"Looks impressive!" Muria laughed as his golden eyes shone even brighter, surrounded by thunder and gales. Blazing dragon flames burned on all his weapons.

"Boom!" "Boom!"... As soon as Muria finished speaking, his massive form turned into a golden streak that collided with the white streak that Elish had become. They tangled, each clash producing explosive booms.

The intense battle stirred wave after wave of energy tides. The Insect Overlord, who had hoped to take advantage of the situation, felt the terrifying waves and quietly retreated, leaving without a trace.

"Ah!" A furious roar echoed. Within Elish's combat domain, pale golden blood rained, intensifying the divine aura. Any low to mid-level evil creatures entering would be instantly incinerated.

"You've lost, Elish. It seems your bloodline isn't pure. From what I know, the bloodline of the Ancient Seraphim is second to none," Muria taunted as he felt his blood and energy roil from the intense clashes, his body tingling with pain from strained muscles. Across from him, Elish's face was dark; one of his arms had been severed and turned to blood mist.

"You merely rely on external tools," Elish said reluctantly. His recent power burst hadn't defeated Muria, and as his power waned, Muria seized the opportunity to sever his arm, a first for him.

"It seems you're still unconvinced. Let's see what you say when I sever your head," Muria said, his dragon wings flapping as he lunged at Elish, who was regenerating his arm. Starry chains in his body stirred.

"Damn it!" Elish, whose arm hadn't fully regrown, was completely suppressed by Muria after ten rounds. His legendary spear, the Light of Glory, was knocked from his hand, leaving him weaponless against Muria's exclusive weapons.

"You're out of weapons," Muria laughed, severing Elish's other arm and kicking him into a massive crater.

"Elish, seeing how pathetic you are, I won't bully you with weapons," Muria said, landing and setting down his Hell-Suppressing Halberd and War-Breaking Axe-Gun. He flexed his hands, walking towards the staggering Elish, whose arm was rapidly regenerating.

"Clang!" Starry chains appeared from Muria's body, attempting to bind Elish, but the Seraphim still had some strength, keeping the chains from touching him.

Until Muria's fist, as large as a small house, smashed into his face, dazing him. The starry chains then wrapped around him, binding him tightly as their sealing power took effect.

"Hang him up!" Muria commanded.

The starry chains hummed, lifting the defeated Seraphim and suspending him before Muria.

"So, Elish, does this half-blood now qualify to pursue Mikaela?"

"Bas..."

"Boom!" Before he could finish, Muria's giant fist, encased in Sacred Radiance Abyss, struck his face, shattering bones and spraying pale golden blood.

"You... don't deserve..."

"That's not the answer I want to hear, loser!" Muria's cold eyes fell on Elish's wings. "I don't understand. As the defeated, what gives you the arrogance to act superior? Is it your eight wings?"

"Rip!" The sound of tearing flesh echoed as Muria brutally ripped a pair of wings from Elish's back, causing him to howl in agony.

"Enough, young one. You've won. There's no need to humiliate your opponent. It's also a disrespect to yourself," a grand voice boomed in Muria's ears.

"I don't think it's enough!" Muria looked up at the sky. Above the collapsing Seraphim domain, he saw a hand crossing realms towards him...
