The space odyssey of the snow leopard

Chapter 11: Chapter 11 Ancient civilization.

Entering the atmosphere of this unknown planet, I could not expect a storm that enveloped, the planet like a protective dome.

This was not on scanners!

Maybe this does not give an enterprise approaching the planet?

But then why I can do this on a shuttle.

"Fuck!"-Entering the storm of the ship shaking well, and I began to lose control.

Alarm sensors lit up everywhere, but I didn't care, I tried to level out so as not to break on the ground.

"Come on!"-I'm trying to straighten the helm that I can do, but my shuttle continues to fall.

"Bitch, apparently a hard landing awaits me." I said a little panic, and hoping to survive the landing.

Leaving the storm, the shuttle, continued the fall, but it was a little control by me.

When, I went through a storm, in front of me appeared the surface of this planet, which was a jungle.

The scanners said that there is no life here, but somehow I can't believe it.

They didn't even see the storms, so you have to be careful, I don't know what Flora and Faun are here.

Meanwhile, I continue my fall, and briefly saw a large temple that stood out against the backdrop of these jungle.

I did not have time to think about how I directed the shuttle, towards the trees with the vines, in the hope of softening the fall.

As soon as the shuttle touched the trees, he began to cut them out, slowing down all the time until he was stuck in the vines.

"Yes, you laugh at me," I said, because I didn't see the bottom of the bottom under me, and the only thing that kept my shuttle from falling into this abyss, that he was confused in the vines.

"So carefully!" I said inwardly a panic, and going to the back door, which I opened.

But the shuttle, began to bend suddenly.

I did not have time to think, I made a jump, and the shuttle after me began to fall into the abyss.

After the jump, I grabbed the nearest Liana, which was close to me, and began to climb to the top.

Having reached the ledge, I reached for him and climbed on him with one wave.

"Ufff!"-I breathed heavily lying on the ground.

Having lie down a bit, I got up the first thing I did, I tried to contact the ship.

'Enterprise, reception!'

Silence.

'Enterprise, can I hear me?'

Silence.

'Enterprise?'

Silence.

"Fucking, apparently this storm is jamming of any connection!" I said displeasedly.

"That I have no particular choice where to go, only the temple that I saw when falling." I muttered.

"Okay, I hope in it, I will find at least some answers!" I said, and went to the direction where it was possible.

I walked with a prepared gun, because I did not know what could jump out at me at any time.

But I think the scanners did not lie. I have not seen at all, no signs of life or its activities.

There are no birds, no animals, even insects.

Only one wind was heard, which howled up the trees.

It was ...

Frightingly scary.

As if I got into a horror movie and hunted something behind me.

"So, stop winding myself." I told myself clapping with two palms on my cheeks.

My path continued until I reached the edge of the jungle, from where the view of a very large clearing opened, in the middle of which stood, the temple of which, judging by the thicket, is here for quite some time.

I started carefully, to approach him, because what was the film about some ancient temples taught me? Right! They can have traps. I don't really want to step on what kind of plate and get an arrow in the eye, or fall into pointed spears, or ...

So stop!

What I think about!

I carefully reached the entrance to this temple.

I feel like some kind of Lara Croft.

Entering the temple, I found myself in a large hall in which many frescoes were placed, and at the end of which there was a statue ...

'Can't be!'

Yes, from the entrance, I saw that the statue had ears and tail.

Then my gaze attracted the frescoes.

I decided to see what was hidden behind them and what I can find out.

Approaching the first fresco, who portrayed the jungle and people who were scattered in different places, these people also had ears and tails.

I saw the fox tails and ears there, dog, feline, even bears?

If, on this planet, people lived, then where are they now?

Going to the next fresco, which depicts the battle, well, I think so, it can be seen that all representatives from the previous fresco howl with each other.

Well, it is understandable, different types, different interests.

The next was what I did not expect!

I have not seen in this world yet, the reapers, and I remember their ships from the game, but it is not possible to forget them, this fresco shows how the reapal ship went down to this planet, apparently to introduce this planet for the "harvest"!

On the following frescoes, it can be seen as the reapers, they began to enslave these species, but they did not give up and repulsed.

But I can't understand, unless the reapers do not set aside such civilizations that are not much developed so that they will develop more and only then fly to fulfill their "harvest".

It was evident that these beasts were lost, well, of course, where against developed weapons.

But the next fresco surprised me.

It depicted a catwoman, you could even say I'm a snow leopard, based on the color of her ears and tail. The people around her were on their knees, unlike the last mural where they fought, but I could see that there were more views here.

Foxes, wolves, cats, dogs, bears, hares, owls.

There were also people with horns, which I assume was either a type of ram or bull. But honestly, they looked more like demons. Like in some anime.

There were a couple more, but I didn't recognize any of them.

This means this is a planet inhabited by people with animal parts. But as far as I can tell, these were only ears and a tail. There were no furries!

On the next fresco, the same cat woman was depicted, holding some kind of "cube" in her hands, and it was clear from her that she shared this "cube" with people.

Moving on to the next fresco, which showed the confrontation of these people against the reapers. And I couldn't believe it, not only did they defeat them, but they did it with virtually no weapons.

Is it all about this cube?

The next mural showed me the reapers flying away and the people celebrating their victory.

The next fresco showed how they were building this temple, where in some room they placed this "cube" from the past on a pedestal.

Stop!

So is he still here?

Maybe it was calling to me.

How's the legacy?

It was as if I had found myself in some kind of self-improvement novel and found the legacy of an "ancestor"! I hope I won't take a test that will push me beyond my limits.

Sigh.

On the last fresco, it was visible how these people remained less and less, until there was no one left.

What?

How can this be?

They defeated the Reapers, the greatest threat to the galaxy.

So what killed them then?

Is there something even worse than the reapers that they couldn't cope with?

Sigh.

If so, I hope he is no longer alive.

The frescoes are over and it is time to approach the statue.

She was made of a material similar to marble, with an outstretched arm, but she had a finger on her hand which she bent.

This confused me. and I climbed onto the statue to see what was wrong with this finger.

Having reached her hand, I saw some kind of mechanism going through the cuts in the finger, I pulled the finger so that it stood straight. Hearing a click, I walked over her shoulder and a secret passage opened behind the statue.

Interesting!

Descending from the statue and approaching this passage in which I saw nothing.

"Well, there's one way to find out!" I said.

And headed inside!
