The Strongest Eriri in History

Chapter 307: The Fallen Angel Demon Eye?

"Now, let's select one lucky participant from the 23 contenders to skip the first round and proceed directly to the next stage," Aoi Kujo announced.

As her voice fell, the space above the martial arts stage began to ripple. Moments later, a translucent figure started to materialize in mid-air.

Under the expectant gazes of the audience, the figure fully took shape within a few seconds, revealing none other than Sakura Tohsaka, dressed in a purple dress and holding a black rabbit plushie in her arms.

"Sakura Tohsaka will skip the first round!" Aoi declared.

On the spectator stands, Rin Tohsaka, seated next to Sakura, was visibly thrilled. "Wow, Sakura, your luck is amazing!" she exclaimed to her younger sister.

Sakura smiled happily in response, while others with weaker combat abilities, such as Chika Fujiwara, cast envious glances her way.

Although skipping the first round wouldn't guarantee victory, it was still an advantage. If Sakura's opponent in the next round wasn't particularly strong, she might even have a chance to secure a top-three spot.

After all, this martial arts tournament had no revival matches. A single loss meant immediate elimination.

Luck played a significant role here. If the two strongest participants happened to face each other in the first round, one of them would inevitably miss out on a top-three finish. Conversely, if someone faced weaker opponents in the first two rounds, they could easily advance to the semifinals.

"Now, the first round officially begins. Shortly, two figures will appear above the martial arts stage, representing the next pair of contestants," Aoi announced.

As her words echoed through the air, two translucent figures materialized above the stage.

"The first match of the first round will be Ruri Gokou versus Chika Fujiwara. Contestants, please step onto the stage. The match will officially begin in five minutes."

"Wow, it's Onee-sama! Go, Onee-sama, you can do it!" exclaimed Tamaki Gokou, the youngest of the three Gokou sisters, as she cheered excitedly for her elder sister.

Beside her, Hinata Gokou also pumped her small fists in support. "You've got this, Ruri!"

"Alright, Hinata, Tamaki, I'm off," Ruri said with a smile, patting her younger sisters' heads.

Relief flickered across Ruri's face. She was glad her first opponent wasn't someone like Luo Hao or Erica Blandelli. She had a fair understanding of Chika Fujiwara's capabilities.

This match… I can win! she thought to herself.

A similar sentiment was echoed on Chika Fujiwara's side. Like Ruri, Chika believed she had this match in the bag.

Ruri Gokou and Chika Fujiwara soon floated down from the spectator stands and landed on the martial arts stage. The moment their feet touched the ground, they felt their powers being significantly suppressed.

The two translucent figures above the stage dissipated immediately upon their arrival.

"Kukuku~ Chika, I never expected my first opponent to be you. This must be a fated duel! Allow me, the Fallen Angel Black Cat, to deliver your defeat!" Ruri declared.

Dressed in her Queen of the Night gothic lolita attire, Ruri spread the fingers of her right hand and placed them over her right eye. In an instant, her originally black eye turned a brilliant shade of blue.

"Hehe, I didn't expect my opponent to be you, Ruri-chan. But speaking of which, why is your right eye blue? Is it some kind of special ability?" Chika Fujiwara asked curiously, staring at Ruri Gokou's right eye.

"Hmph, trying to probe my secrets before the match even begins? Well, no matter. I'll tell you anyway. This is the powerful mystic eye possessed by the Fallen Angel Black Cat, known as the Fallen Angel Demon Eye!"

"The Fallen Angel Demon Eye? That sounds amazing!" Chika exclaimed in awe.

"Kukuku~ Of course it is!" Ruri lifted her chin proudly, her face full of satisfaction.

From the spectator stands, Eriri couldn't help but chuckle at Ruri's theatrics. That's no Fallen Angel Demon Eye, she thought, it's clearly the Tenseigan from the Naruto world.

Thanks to the chat group's access to Naruto world information, all supernatural items and techniques from that universe could be drawn using points.

The Tenseigan was among the top-tier items from Naruto, with the potential to reach planetary-level power. Eriri was surprised that Ruri had managed to draw one.

If not for sheer luck, Ruri must have spent a significant amount of points. A lottery containing the Tenseigan would certainly cost 10,000 points per draw, with an extremely low probability of success.

In addition to Eriri, Arifureta also recognized the Tenseigan. However, fellow transmigrators Yuzuru Hanyu and Akino Yukinoshita, who were not chat group members, failed to realize what Ruri's transformed right eye truly was—at least, not at first.

That soon changed.

As the match began, Ruri opened with a devastating move: the Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion.

With a spirited cry, a massive golden light blade materialized in Ruri's hands, spanning the entire length of the martial arts stage. The enormous sword swung down directly toward Chika Fujiwara.

Caught off guard, Chika couldn't react in time to defend or dodge. In an instant, she was completely obliterated by Ruri's attack.

Even after being fully resurrected at the center of the stage, Chika remained dazed, struggling to process what had happened.

Fortunately, as the attack had been swift, she felt no pain from being instantly defeated.

Although their powers were suppressed to the Level 4, Stage 1, the Tenseigan's destructive potential still far exceeded that limit. Even in a restricted state, the Tenseigan's ultimate attack packed immense power.

Thanks to the stage's protective barrier, designed to withstand any attack below Ninth-Level, Ruri's Golden Wheel Reincarnation Explosion caused no harm to the spectators or the stage itself.

Nevertheless, the spectators could clearly sense the overwhelming strength of the move.

"Ruri Gokou wins!" Aoi announced, and a wave of cheers erupted from the crowd.

Hinata and Tamaki Gokou shouted excitedly, "Onee-sama is amazing!"

"Ruri-chan, that was so unfair! I didn't even have time to react," Chika protested with a frustrated expression.

While Chika's instant defeat was partially due to Ruri's unconventional tactics, it also revealed her lack of combat experience. Had Chika been more attuned to Ruri's preparations for the ultimate move, she might have been able to counter or at least mitigate its effects, avoiding such a swift defeat.

"Kukuku~ You've witnessed the might of my Fallen Angel Demon Eye, haven't you? And that was merely one of its many abilities!"

Ruri Gokou once again struck her signature pose, covering her eye with her palm in a quintessential chuuni fashion. Her delicate face was lit up with a jubilant smile, making her excitement evident.

"It really is amazing," Chika Fujiwara nodded in genuine agreement.

Although she had been careless earlier, failing to dodge and getting instantly defeated, it didn't diminish her recognition of the power behind Ruri's attack.

"But, Ruri-chan, your 'Fallen Angel Demon Eye'—did you get it from the lottery system?"

"…Hmph. The Fallen Angel Demon Eye is a signature ability of the Fallen Angel Black Cat. How could it possibly come from a lottery?" Ruri replied, glancing around evasively, clearly less confident about her claim than her words suggested.

"Eh? I'm serious! An item this unique must have come from the high-tier lottery pool, right?"

"Then why ask if you already know?"

"Hehehe, but Ruri-chan, your luck is amazing! I never managed to pull anything this good. So, how many times did it take you?" Chika's expression was filled with envy.

Chika had used the chat group's lottery system many times herself, experimenting with the beginner, intermediate, and advanced pools alike.

In fact, after earning three billion points from a previous event, she had splurged a full 1,000 advanced draws, spending 10 million points in one go.

And what did she get? Absolutely nothing remarkable. Her best pull was a reward multiplier that netted her 1 million points.

Other rewards included items like Devil Fruits, advanced magic spells, and Noble Phantasms—decent, but not groundbreaking.

The worst? Completely useless things like unopened tissue packets or sanitary pads, which she managed to pull several times.

Given her current level of strength, those items were utterly irrelevant to her life.

Well, maybe tissues could serve a purpose during her… personal "power generation" activities, but even that didn't justify their frequency.

In summary, Chika considered her lottery luck abysmal, and after that experience, she swore off the system entirely.

When Chika asked about the number of draws Ruri had used, a slightly unnatural look crossed Ruri's face.

"Well… I didn't draw that many," Ruri replied hesitantly.

"And how much is 'not that many' exactly?" Chika pressed, unwilling to let it go.

"Chika, you're so annoying!" Ruri huffed, shooting a glare at her. Finally, she reluctantly muttered, "It was just over 10,000 draws, okay…"

"Over 10,000…"

Chika was rendered speechless. She immediately understood why she hadn't drawn anything of comparable quality—it turned out Ruri's total draws were more than ten times her own.

More than 10,000 draws translated to over 100 million points spent. Chika couldn't help but wonder if spending that much for a single mystic eye was worth it or not.

Ruri Gokou and Chika Fujiwara didn't linger on the martial arts stage for long. They quickly returned to the spectator stands.

From the moment they stepped onto the stage to the end of the first match and their return, the entire process had taken less than six minutes.

Most of the time in the first match was spent waiting for the battle to begin and the post-match conversation, taking up over five minutes in total.

Congratulations to Chika Fujiwara for achieving the "Fastest Defeat" milestone.

Originally, a 30-minute intermission was planned between each match, but since the first match ended so quickly, the first intermission was canceled.

Before long, two more translucent silhouettes appeared above the martial arts stage, and Aoi Kujo, still hovering in midair, announced the second match.

"The second match of the first round will be Elaina versus Ais Wallenstein. Contestants, please step onto the stage. The match will officially begin in five minutes."

As soon as Aoi finished speaking, both Elaina and Ais appeared instantly on the stage.

Unlike Ruri Gokou and Chika Fujiwara, who had leisurely flown from the spectator stands, Elaina and Ais moved at such extreme speed that their arrival on the stage appeared almost like teleportation.

To the ordinary humans and non-supernatural spectators below Level 4, their movements were indistinguishable from instant teleportation. However, higher-level beings could still track their trajectories.

Due to Ais's reserved nature, neither she nor Elaina engaged in any pre-match banter. Instead, they simply stood in silence, gazing at each other.

Elaina understood that Ais was no novice, unlike contestants like Chika or Ruri, who came from more mundane worlds. As a top-tier adventurer active in the labyrinthine dungeons of Orario, Ais undoubtedly had a wealth of battle experience, far surpassing Elaina's.

After all, Elaina was merely a wandering witch on a journey.

Her expression was heavy with seriousness. Although her power levels were inherently superior to Ais by an entire major tier, this advantage was nullified on the restricted battlefield, leaving her with no clear edge.

Five minutes quickly passed, and at Aoi's signal, the second match officially began.

Standing just ten meters apart, Elaina and Ais faced each other. For combatants of their caliber, such a distance could be closed in less than a second.

However, neither of them acted rashly, unlike Ruri's flashy opening gambit in the previous match.

Elaina held a brown magic staff in her hand. Although her abilities had long since evolved beyond needing a focus to cast spells, she instinctively preferred to wield one. It was a part of her style and didn't impede her magic.

Meanwhile, Ais gripped her [Desperate] Sword, having already drawn it from its sheath.

After a tense ten seconds of stillness, Elaina made the first move.

With a fluid motion of her staff, she summoned a massive azure thunder lance, which streaked from the sky toward Ais with deafening lightning and thunder.

Sensing the impending strike, Ais whispered a single word: "Tempest!"

The magic spell Wind Spirit Acceleration activated instantly, enhancing her attack, defense, and speed.

Thanks to the spell, Ais effortlessly dodged the incoming thunder lance.

She didn't stop there. Using her newly augmented speed, she closed the gap between herself and Elaina in a flash, slashing her sword toward the witch without hesitation.
