Kurisu kept running ahead, but her eyes were observing every shadow and movement around her. The forest at night was indeed quiet, but tonight the silence seemed to carry an unseen threat.

Kurisu felt a different chill, not from the wind, but from a bad omen gripping her heart.

A few hours later, they finally arrived in the Land of Hot Water, leaving the borders of Konohagakure and Yugakure behind. Their journey so far had been undisturbed, but instead of feeling relieved, Kurisu's mood grew more restless.

"Is this too smooth?" Kurisu thought. There were no signs of danger, yet this silence felt like an invisible trap.

"Pick up the pace!" Kurisu finally broke the silence, her voice calm but filled with urgency. "Use your chakra to speed up!"

Without question, all the women in Kurisu's group obeyed the command.
