Chapter 434: 434:Final War[II]
A deathly silence stretched across the battlefield as Walter straightened his stance and rolled his shoulders. The air between him and Evan was thick with tension so strong that it felt suffocating.
Walter's usual smug expression wavered, flickering with something else that was filled with wariness. He could sense it, that unshakable, terrifying pressure emanating from Evan's very presence. It was unlike anything he had faced before.
Then the ground exploded.
Walter barely had time to blink before Evan was gone.
BOOOOOM!
A shockwave erupted, sending shattered debris flying. Walter's instincts screamed at him, and he twisted his body just in time, but it was a bit too late.
CRACK!
A fist smashed into his face so fast, so brutal, that the very air howled from the force. Walter's head snapped back as his body rocketed through multiple walls, shattering steel and stone as if they were made of paper.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
Each impact was like a meteor slamming into the city, the walls crumbling one after another as Walter's body tore through Atlantis itself.
The force sent tremors through the entire battlefield, making even those fighting in the distance pause for a moment in sheer disbelief.
Walter finally crashed into the ground, bouncing once, twice before digging his claws into the floor and skidding to a stop. His body tensed, and his enhanced bones repaired the fractures from that one hit.
That one hit.
He snarled, golden eyes narrowing as he wiped the blood from his mouth. His skin seemed to harden, scales slowly erupting over his face.
Evan was already standing there, calm, unmoving, his gaze ice-cold.
"That's all you got?" Evan's voice was eerily calm yet laced with something far more dangerous.
Walter's lips curled into a feral grin. "Not bad. But—"
He moved.
BOOOOM!
This time, Walter vanished.
Evan's senses flared.
Behind him.
He turned just as Walter's knee crashed into his ribs.
CRACK!
Evan's body shot backwards like a bullet, the force shattering the entire structure behind him. Water burst from broken pipelines, flooding the battlefield as Atlantis trembled from the sheer impact.
But before he could fully recover, Walter was already on him.
A savage kick to the chest.
A bone-crushing elbow to the spine.
A clawed fist straight to the jaw.
Each blow landed like an artillery shell, sending shockwaves rippling outward. The air cracked, the ground beneath them split apart, and the ocean water rushed in, swirling around their feet as they moved at inhuman speeds.
Evan gritted his teeth. He barely felt pain anymore—his body was already healing at an insane rate—but Walter was fast. Strong. And brutal.
But so was he.
Walter lunged in for another strike, his claws aiming for Evan's throat.
Evan ducked, his eyes gleaming coldly.
"Too slow."
BOOOOOM!
Evan's fist smashed into Walter's stomach, caving his body inward, shockwave erupting from the impact.
Walter gasped, blood spurting from his mouth as his body flew like a missile, tearing through another massive building.
Evan didn't stop.
Before Walter could even hit the ground, Evan appeared above him and grabbed him by the throat mid-air.
And then, he slammed him down.
BOOOOOOM!
The entire battlefield quaked.
A massive crater formed as Walter's body sank deep into the ground, sending water and debris flying everywhere. The impact shook the entire city, collapsing walls and structures in the distance.
Evan stood over him, breathing steadily, his cold, piercing gaze locked onto Walter's battered form. He pressed his foot onto Walter's chest and pressed it hard.
But even through pain, Walter grinned.
"Not bad… but you're forgetting something."
SHING!
Just then, Walter's arm shot up, his claws stabbing straight into Evan's side.
Evan winced but didn't flinch.
Instead, he grabbed Walter by his wrist and ripped the entire arm off.
SPURT!
Dark green blood sprayed into the air, but Walter's reaction wasn't that of shock or horror.
Instead, he laughed.
Even as his severed limb lay twitching on the ground, even as his wound began regenerating, he grinned.
"That won't work," Walter said, his voice smooth as if no matter how or what Even did, it wasn't going to truly make him face an end. "We're not so easy to kill."
Evan's eyes narrowed.
Then Walter's blood slowly dripped onto Evan's exposed chest.

SIZZLE!
Evan's skin burned instantly, exposing his flesh, and as it seeped, the blood melted away his flesh.
A sharp hiss of pain escaped his lips as he stepped back, his entire chest smoldering.
Walter sat up, flexing his new arm as it grew back seamlessly. "You should be more careful, Sir Evan."
Evan exhaled slowly, his cold, eternal gaze locking onto Walter. He felt the pain—but ignored it.
His body was already regenerating, and his skin had slowly started knitting itself back together.
"Old trick!" Evan scoffed
And he had just learned it the hard way.
Walter smirked, watching Evan carefully.
"This isn't enough to kill you, is it?"
His eyes glowed a shade brighter as his lips curled into a smirk. "But let's see how long you can last before it eats you from the inside."
Evan clenched his fists, his expression colder than ever.
"This isn't over."
_____
The battlefield outside the ruined structure had turned into a warzone of futuristic carnage.
The night sky was painted with streaks of laser beams, neon-blue and red lights flashing as they tore through the air.
The deafening roars of plasma cannons mixed with the sharp hum of energy blades clashing against each other filled the surroundings. The air was thick with the stench of burning metal and blood, and the ground was littered with the remains of both humans and alien invaders.
Evan's guards, led by Viktor, fought valiantly. Clad in advanced combat suits, their visors flickered with tactical data, marking enemies and guiding their strikes.
Their energy rifles fired rapid bursts, cutting down the grotesque Xenomorph warriors as they charged forward. The aliens were ruthless, and their elongated bodies moved at terrifying speeds, their razor-sharp claws slicing through steel and flesh alike.
