Chapter 562: Heavenly Will Chronicle

Tianyi watched the little fellows wait outside the trial gates with interest. That’s right, with his current level, those below the Immortal Realm were indeed little fellows to him. Not just in realm but in age as well.

Most of the immortals who were focused on comprehending the worldly laws had returned to the Primordial Realms over a hundred years ago. The biggest chance was naturally when the three demon realms entered the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System. Tianyi had even deliberately slowed down the integration of the three demon realms into the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System to expose the worldly laws for as long as possible.

Now, many true immortals were in secluded cultivation, attempting to enter the Seamless Immortal Realm. It can be foreseen that the numbers of monarchs would explode in a short amount of time.

The ones still waiting among the realms of the Divine Beast Pseudo System were those with weaker talents and potential.

After entering the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System, it was much easier for Tianyi to move the three demon realms to the Primordial Realm. The phenomenon of the sky distorting and tearing in the Primordial Realm was naturally the result of Tianyi bringing the three demon realms and connecting them to the Primordial Realm.

In total, it took Tianyi fourteen hundred years to accomplish all this.

While the old timers were working on improving their cultivation base, the Immortal Court naturally couldn’t neglect the new blood. That’s why the Immortal Court arranged for the immortal seeds to enter the Trial Realms for tempering.

The three demon realms had completely taken the place of the former Demon Cage Realm as a land of tempering. Of course, most of the resources had already been taken away by the immortals. While tempering, these venerables would only be able to find true immortal-level resources at best.

That didn’t mean the Immortal Court stripped everything. That would be killing the goose that laid the golden eggs. The short-term profits would not be worth it.

Of course, the lack of resources above the true immortal level was only temporary. After some time passes, the resources would appear again. What was this called? It was called sustainable development!

Once the resources were ripe for the picking, the people entering the Trial Realms would not be these little fellows but the true immortals and above.

Standing behind Tianyi were two of his disciples, Leng Junfeng and Ming Xingyun. Jinshu was still in a high rank realm, pretending to be a mysterious expert in his reincarnated father’s Lightning Beetle Morpher.

Honestly, Cangting’s speed was slower than Tianyi expected. Even if he wasn’t a true immortal, he expected the latter to have reached the Transcending Mortality Realm, not stay in the Unity Realm. Was it because of an overreliance on the morpher? Or maybe it was because Jinshu was overly concerned about Cangting and resulted in his slower growth?

Tianyi shook his head internally and looked at the venerables present. Each one had a high chance to overcome their Immortal Ascension Heavenly Tribulation. If they showed enough promise, it was not out of the realm of possibility for them to get a chance to comprehend the exposed worldly laws either.

“What do you think? Do any of them catch your fancy?” Tianyi asked.

“I have no thoughts about taking a disciple right now. Rather than diverting my focus, I would rather catch up to my senior brothers and become a monarch first,” Ming Xingyun said. She shook her head, causing her two buns to shake along. It was rather cute.

“I also don’t have any thoughts of taking a disciple right now,” Leng Junfeng said. Jinshu used the law of Fire to become an immortal monarch, while he used the Law of Wind. Once both of them became immortal monarchs, they had another competition to decide who would be the eldest senior brother under Tianyi’s lineage.

“Really, you aren’t going to consider it even a little? Not even a nominal disciple to help you take care of matters in your palace?” Tianyi asked again.

“No need. Ming Weiyang is already very good,” Ming Xingyun said. Ming Weiyang was a talented descendent of her sister’s lineage.

Of course, compared to the usual geniuses recruited by the Immortal Court, Ming Weiyang was considered below average. Ming Xingyun only accepted her as a servant-disciple, but her treatment was that of a core disciple. Even if Ming Xingyun was only a true immortal, she was an immortal lord infinitely close to a monarch. Coupled with her identity, she had the same status as an immortal monarch.

Leng Junfeng also rejected the proposal. “Forget it. I prefer peace and quiet.”

Tianyi’s lips twitched.

“What about you, Master? Why don’t you find another junior brother or sister for us?” Leng Junfeng asked.

Tianyi looked back toward the gathered disciples at the venerable level. He shook his head. “Not interested. Rather than taking disciples at the venerable level, I prefer to find uncarved jades.”

In other words, he preferred to accept disciples with protagonist-like backgrounds. He knew it was partly why his clone, Juedai Fenghua, accepted Leng Junfeng as a partial disciple.

“Master, why did you mention the matter of accepting disciples? Did someone tell you?” Ming Xingyun.

Tianyi looked away. His first disciple was right. Grand Elder Xia had asked him to accept more disciples. Out of Tianyi’s three disciples, two out of three had become monarchs. The third was already infinitely close. In the world’s eye, this was an abnormally high success rate.

Normally, it would be good if one out of six disciples accepted by a monarch could become a true immortal. What about Tianyi? Three successes out of three! A hundred percent success rate.

Of course, this could not deny that maybe Tianyi was just lucky. Still, Tianyi wasn’t in a hurry. Although Grand Elder Xia urged him, it was not completely necessary. Didn’t he also urge his mother, Mengfei? She didn’t have any disciple until Daoyi, and she had not taken another once since.

“Okay, since no one is interested in taking a disciple, let’s disperse,” Tianyi waved his hand and his figure vanished.

Leng Junfeng and Ming Xingyun shared a helpless look. When Tianyi left, he dispelled the concealment on them. Although both of them tried to learn their master’s technique, they were not talented in time or space, so they couldn’t maintain their presence.

It was not that they could not hide their presence by other means. Tianyi’s departure was too abrupt and didn’t give them a chance to react. As a result, the venerable-level disciples noticed them.

“Galeheart Monarch!”

“Immortal Ming!”

The disciples instantly recognized the two of them. Although the two were famous, most of their fame came from their connection to Tianyi. Even though Tianyi was over five thousand years old, he was still far too young by the world’s standard, so his legends still continued. Not to mention that it was documented on the Xiyinet.

In fact, someone even made a documentary series about Tianyi’s legendary rise, called the Heavenly Will Chronicle. It told the legend of how the legendary Nine Heavens Emperor rose step-by-step.

According to the plot, although Dong Tianyi was born noble as the only child of Sword Empress Xi, he was born with a sickly body that had blocked meridians, causing his talent for cultivation to dwindle. Not only that, he would cough blood every day and it was expected that he would not live long.

Sword Empress Dong risked her life to obtain a treasure to heal Tianyi’s body, but after returning, she fell into a deep sleep and could not wake up. Not even the powerful Immortal Court could heal her.

Although Tianyi regained the ability to cultivate, he lost his greatest support. It was akin to a prince becoming a pauper. Without his mother’s protection, he suffered many grievances and injustices.

However, Tianyi persevered and cultivated step by step. Along the way, he met a cute junior sister, a jealous senior brother, and an enemy, who was the child of the grand elder of the Immortal Court. He suffered greatly under his enemy’s hand without his mother’s protection. Not only that, his junior sister was tricked by his senior brother.

Life was a tragedy for him. Although he was born noble, the world seemed to only contain malice for him. However, he did not give up. He defeated his enemy, and the grand elder was punished for his sins. He elucidated his junior sister from his senior brother’s clutches.

Of course, it couldn’t be all about tragedies and hardship. There were light-hearted, romantic, and comedic moments sprinkled throughout. One recurring joke was that when Tianyi introduced himself, people thought he was talking about fate.

Tianyi eventually reached the level of an immortal emperor. He healed his mother and married his junior sister, becoming a winner in life.

The drama became unexpectedly popular, earning the creator a fortune in Xiyicoins.

The reincarnators who saw it all came and teased Tianyi. They even suspected that Tianyi directed and created the Heavenly Will Chronicles. Even Tianyi himself suspected that it was his own doing. However, when he watched it, it was like watching a different person’s life.

Except for the similar names and background, it was totally different. Tianyi didn’t even suffer a tenth of the tragedies his counterpart suffered. Tianyi even felt his blood boiling while watching the Heavenly Will Chronicle.

Curious, Tianyi investigated the creator of the Heavenly Will Chronicle. His name was Gu Chuan, and he was just a loose cultivator with poor spiritual roots. His best spiritual root was fractured, meaning that he almost had no hope to cultivate beyond the Foundation Establishment Realm.

He overcame his fate by creating the Heavenly Will Chronicle. With his newfound wealth, he elevated his spiritual roots and increased his talent. Although it couldn’t be considered top-tier, the Immortal Realm was no longer hopeless.

Of course, it wasn’t all sunshines and rainbows. Gu Chuan knew about the crime of possessing jade. While he had struck it rich, he could not reveal it, or else some unscrupulous people would come to rob him.

Each account on the Xiyi Talisman was linked to the owner’s soul aura, so even if they got his Xiyi Talisman, they couldn’t use his account. However, they could still coerce him to transfer the wealth.

So when Tianyi appeared in front of him, he thought it was over. When Gu Chuan learned about Tianyi’s identity, he directly kneeled and begged for forgiveness.

Tianyi might not covet his little fortune, but it was even more terrifying. He created the Heavenly Will Chroncile based on the information he pieced together on the Xiyinet and a heavy dose of creative liberty. He knew that he risked the chance of offending the subject of his drama, but he could only think of this way to change his fate.

Thankfully, Tianyi didn’t come to judge him for his crimes. Instead, after the two talked, they discovered that they were fellow reincarnators. Not all reincarnators were as lucky as Tianyi. Many of them were born with poor physical talents that did not allow them to reach the height that allowed them to show their true talents. After they die, their souls would be cleansed by the Six Paths of Samsara, making them true denizens of the Three Thousand Immortal Realms System.

Tianyi invited Gu Chuan to join the Samsara Traveller Chat Group.

Thanks to Gu Chuan’s addition, Gao Chushi was no longer Rookie #420. Instead, he changed his username to Gedeng Lamuqi. Gu Chuan didn’t book Rookie #pi. Instead, Tianyi gave him the username of Stan Li.

After coming into contact with the chat group, Gu Chuan would gain access to more information on the top experts in the world. Using that information, he would create even more series, granting him a near limitless source of wealth.

Even the current Immortal Moneybags would eye Gu Chuan in envy at the rate he made money. It can be said that Gu Chuan single handedly revolutionized the entertainment of the Primordial Realm.

Of course, that was a story for the future. For now, he was focused on raising his cultivation base. Only after he reached a bottleneck or became an immortal, would he create his second series.
