Pirate World

While Enel was off in the New World searching for traders, Leo lay comfortably in a beach chair, sipping juice and basking in the natural sunshine. He casually reviewed the work report submitted by Enel on the virtual screen before him, raising an eyebrow as something piqued his interest.

"Enel went to the 'Demon Slayer' world this time?" Leo muttered, intrigued.

Leo was, of course, familiar with 'Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba'. It was once a wildly popular anime on Earth, even surpassing 'One Piece' in its prime due to its animation.

But that was about it.

"There's not much to gain from the 'Demon Slayer' world, is there?" he mused, letting out a soft sigh before resuming Enel's report.

Given the relatively low cost of interdimensional travel lately, Leo had agreed with Enel to submit six work reports in his first year in the New World. These reports would be spaced across the first, third, sixth, and twelfth months. After the first year, only annual reports would be required. Leo planned to implement this reporting structure for all future dimensional merchants or investigators.

As Leo finished reading Enel's report, he found that it mostly aligned with his expectations. The points exchanged for the blood of Muzan, the Demon King, were within reason. After all, there were only a few extraordinary powers in the 'Demon Slayer' world: the Demon Slayer breathing techniques, the blood demon arts of the demons, and some ancient but ultimately ineffective techniques.

The ancient techniques, in particular, weren't worth much. If they were truly effective, the Hand Demon wouldn't have killed so many of Sakonji's disciples at Mount Fujikasane.

As for the Demon Slayer breathing techniques, while they could be likened to unique martial arts manuals, they came with too many drawbacks. Gaining strength through breathing required sacrificing vitality, and from a dimensional merchant's perspective, such techniques didn't hold enough value to be worth trading.

Thus, Leo instructed Enel not to bother collecting the breathing techniques from the 'Demon Slayer' world.

Overall, Enel's report covered three main topics. The first was an introduction to the new world's environment and situation. The second was a request for Leo to name the new world so that it could be officially recorded in the Transdimensional Chamber of Commerce's world atlas. Normally, the dimensional merchant assigned to the world would handle this, but Enel had grown savvy over the years, passing this simple yet meaningful task to Leo.

Without overthinking, Leo named it "'Demon Slayer World'."

The third matter, however, truly caught Leo's attention.

"The Pokémon Integration Plan?" Leo's eyes lit up as he read the section Enel had filled out at the end of his report.

The plan was to summon a large number of low-tier, unsellable Pokémon into a dimension with low potential, creating an environment suited for their breeding. Over time, the world would gradually accept the presence of Pokémon, allowing the quality of the species to improve with successive generations. This would not only solve the issue of unsold Pokémon but also elevate the world's level, potentially producing more talented individuals for the Chamber of Commerce.

"I didn't expect Enel to be this invested in the Chamber of Commerce," Leo mused. For a moment, he even joked to himself about stepping down as the "founder" of the Chamber.

But then again…

"Why does this plan sound so familiar?" Leo chuckled.

Of course, he had no intention of stepping down. Knowing the whole picture, Leo didn't have the workaholic mindset that Enel seemed to embody. Nevertheless, he couldn't help but admit that Enel's proposal reminded him of something fun.

Back on Earth, Leo had read numerous novels about Pokémon invading worlds. Although Earth might now be out of reach, orchestrating a Pokémon invasion was something he could definitely pull off!

If Enel succeeded in raising a world's level, Leo could use it as a case study to encourage other dimensional merchants to follow suit. After all, they'd be using their own earnings to improve their respective worlds—something Leo was sure they'd be eager to do.

"Come to think of it, having only two employees, Enel and Ace, isn't enough," Leo pondered as he sat up from his recliner, gazing at the blazing sun in the distance.

"Not all my employees are as driven as Enel. As the boss, I can't keep lounging around like this."

"Time to prepare... for a large-scale recruitment drive!" A mysterious gleam flickered in Leo's eyes, as deep as the stars.

Perhaps Enel's outstanding work had rekindled Leo's motivation.

Meanwhile, a lot was happening in the pirate world.

First and foremost, the ongoing battle between the Revolutionary Army and the World Government showed no signs of stopping. Both sides were locked in fierce combat, constantly exchanging territories—one day losing a nation, the next day capturing an island. Fortunately, with the intervention of Pokémon, the overall intensity of the battles was high enough that civilian casualties were kept to a minimum.

However, the most exciting events were happening in the New World. As time passed, the title of "Four Emperors" had cemented its place, and no one used the old terms for the era's strongest anymore.

Instead of focusing on the Four Emperors, the world now cared about something else…

Who would become the 'Four Heavenly Kings' and 'Champion' of this sea?

Yes, these titles were borrowed directly from the Pokémon world.

Initially, these terms had been tossed around casually by traders familiar with Pokémon's influence. But over time, the titles gained traction and became fully integrated into the pirate world.

One Piece? Nobody cared about that anymore!

In this new era, the true measure of power was who could raise the strongest Pokémon.

And speaking of One Piece, there was one more thing worth mentioning…

The former Pirate King, Gol D. Roger, who had once turned the world upside down, was now in a much worse situation than anyone could have ever imagined.

Because he had little savings and refused the generosity of his old friends, Roger didn't manage to acquire a single Pokémon during the first year after his resurrection.

If Enel hadn't later brought Celestial Island into the New World, creating a stable trading hub for the powerful figures there...

Roger might still be wandering the seas alone!

However, since Enel, being a sky islander, didn't understand the significance of the title "Pirate King," he didn't give Roger any special treatment.

To Enel, Roger was just a penniless fool. If he hadn't been lucky enough to find a Devil Fruit while adrift, it was questionable whether he'd have even become a Pokémon trainer.

In the end, Roger's first Pokémon was a Primeape. Although it was a rather common species, its potential was undeniable.

Afterward, many factions in the New World extended offers to Roger, promising resources to help strengthen both him and Primeape—if he agreed to join them.

But Roger, who only wanted to experience the new era, rejected all such offers.

Now, he just wanted to be an ordinary adventurer and trainer, exploring this vast world once again.

With that mindset, he wandered the seas with his Primeape, constantly seeking out opponents for battle.

Like a Bug Catcher from the early Pokémon games, as soon as someone crossed paths with him, he'd immediately challenge them to a Pokémon duel.

Annoying and relentless!

Gradually, people who once obsessed over the Pirate King began to regard Roger as just another trainer.

Meanwhile, the most dramatic conflict in the New World was undoubtedly the battle between the Don Quixote Family and the combined forces of Kaido and the Big Mom Pirates!

One day, out of nowhere, the Don Quixote Family, who had taken control of Wano Country, suddenly shifted from their defensive stance and launched a series of offensives against the territories of Kaido and Big Mom.

Strangely enough, the two veteran Yonko, Kaido and Big Mom, remained unusually passive, allowing Doflamingo's forces to encroach upon their lands without resistance.

It wasn't until a few days later, when Kaido and Big Mom secretly mobilized their entire fighting force to infiltrate Wano, that people realized their true objective...

It had never been hidden!

---

At the same time, in the Flower Capital of Wano…

This once-beautiful city had been engulfed in a war threatening to tear the country apart!

'Boom!'

"Kill!!!"

"For Kaido-sama!"

"Long live Big Mom!!!"

"For the glory of the Kozuki family!!!"

The cries of battle echoed through the air, smoke thickened, and the ground was soaked in blood.

With much of the Don Quixote Family away on various campaigns, Kaido and Big Mom seized the moment.

They led their armies, using Flying-type Pokémon to breach Wano's borders.

Kaido's plan was unfolding without a hitch.

First, they had successfully hypnotized Momonosuke, convincing him to secretly contact the remnants of the Kozuki family still loyal to Wano.

As "Momonosuke," Kaido manipulated these loyalists into rallying the samurai of Wano to rise up against the Don Quixote Family.

At first, the loyalists were reluctant.

They knew full well that Kaido was far from the benevolent figure Momonosuke claimed him to be. After all, just two years ago, they had suffered under his brutal rule.

However, their disgust for the current ruler, Kurozumi Orochi, and their unwavering loyalty to the Kozuki family eventually swayed them.

For these samurai, as long as Wano was ruled by the Kozuki family, that was all that mattered.

As for whether Wano would return to its previous suffering under Kaido's rule, they didn't want to think about it.

As warriors, loyalty was paramount.

Even if they hated Kaido, when "Momonosuke," their rightful heir, issued the order, they had no choice but to comply.

Moreover...

Momonosuke now possessed an identity that left even the most battle-hardened samurai awestruck!

Thus, the "Restoration" army, composed of Kaido's forces, Big Mom's pirates, and Wano's samurai, began their campaign.

With their overwhelming strength, they quickly conquered cities where no significant resistance was stationed.

They swept through Wano like a storm, until they reached the Flower Capital.

---

Roar!

"WORORORORORO!!!"

"Doflamingo! Did you ever imagine this day when you betrayed me?!"

In the skies above the Flower Capital, Kaido, in his dragon form, looked down on Doflamingo.

Beside Kaido was his Pokémon—Kommo-o!

A formidable Pokémon with both Fighting and Dragon types!

Due to his limited points, Kaido had only been able to redeem one Pokémon so far, but he had poured considerable resources into raising it to level 80.

With his immense personal power, Kaido had bonded with Kommo-o, evolving their connection to the point where they could rival Doflamingo, who commanded two evolved Pokémon.

And the most terrifying thing...

Right behind Kaido was the other Yonko, Charlotte Linlin, soaring on fiery clouds.

Beside Big Mom stood her current husband, Kozuki Momonosuke!

Though Big Mom was known for her lack of pickiness when it came to husbands, she kept Momonosuke close to ensure the continuation of the Kozuki bloodline.

This, of course, was the main reason the samurai were willing to back Kaido and Big Mom.

In their eyes, their Lord, Momonosuke must have sacrificed himself to restore the Kozuki family's rule, using himself as a bargaining chip with Big Mom.

Facing such a selfless lord, barely eight years old but willing to give everything, how could they refuse Kaido's plan?

Unfortunately for the samurai, who were isolated from the outside world and unaware of the truth, they fought and died without ever knowing...

Their lord had long since been brainwashed by Big Mom, remade in her shape.

Facing Kaido and Big Mom's confrontation, Doflamingo's expression remained unchanged. He simply said in a soft voice:

"I didn't expect the mighty Yonko to have fallen so low that they need help from a brat like him."

"It seems the title of Yonko is truly outdated!"

"So, that pathetic-looking brat is the last remaining heir of the Kozuki family, isn't he?"

"Yes, that's right," Kaido replied, fire spewing from his mouth. He glared at Doflamingo with eyes as big as searchlights, brimming with confidence. A voice like rolling thunder echoed from the sky.

"Surrender, Doflamingo!"

"As long as you hand over all your possessions, I'll spare your life!"

"Even…"

"We can still cooperate as we did before!"

"All you need to do is give up Wano Country!"

Kaido's tone wasn't overly harsh.

In fact...

He never intended to annihilate the entire Don Quixote Family from the beginning.

Even though Doflamingo had put him in a difficult spot, Kaido recognized Doflamingo's potential.

This time, in his quest to reclaim Wano, Kaido had promised Big Mom's crew far too much.

And there was no telling if they would turn their swords on him once they got what they wanted.

So, Kaido wanted Doflamingo to survive—'needed' him to survive.

In that way, there would still be a powerful force bearing a grudge against Big Mom, which would prevent her from breaking their alliance too easily, giving the Beasts Pirates a chance to grow stronger.

However...

In the face of Kaido's ultimatum, a strange glint flickered in Doflamingo's eyes beneath his red sunglasses.

"This guy Kaido went to such great lengths just to reclaim Wano," Doflamingo mused.

"What secrets does this country hold that could push him this far?"

Doflamingo kept his thoughts to himself, but his gaze slowly shifted to Momonosuke standing beside Big Mom.

"Fufufufufu…"

Suddenly, Doflamingo chuckled.

Throwing his head back, he stared at Kaido and grinned.

"Kaido, did you really think I wouldn't know about your grand scheme?"

"Huh?" Kaido's eyes narrowed at Doflamingo's confident smile. He frowned, sensing something amiss.

But when he looked down at the completely overpowered Don Quixote Family forces, confusion crept in.

According to his intelligence, all of Doflamingo's top officers had either fallen in battle or were still away on missions, unable to return.

Could it be that Doflamingo had some hidden backup?

The thought crossed Kaido's mind.

And in the next instant...

Doflamingo gave him the answer!

With a maniacal laugh, Doflamingo spread his arms wide, mimicking a flamingo soaring through the air. He shouted:

"It's time!"

"Come forth, Mr. Zoro!!!"

"Let the New World witness…"

"The power of the Pokémon League Champion!!!"
