Transformation into the Marvel Universe

Chapter 249: The News Brought By The Old Man Stick

The formation of the ninjas was quite sophisticated. They used movement shifting, light refraction, and other techniques to deliberately confuse Daisy's sense of direction, making her feel as if she were surrounded on all sides.

"What a mess!" She was annoyed. With her superior attributes, she had great confidence in herself and believed none of these enemies could withstand a single move from her.

Daisy didn't care about their formation. If she killed all the enemies, how could they maintain their formation? She quickly approached one enemy, her powerful thighs suddenly applying force. The enemy was kicked ten meters away, clearly not surviving.

The ninjas had no fear, relying on their numbers to try and deal with her, throwing shurikens and hidden weapons from a distance to slow her down and buy time for Bokuto.

Daisy's primary weapon was still her longsword. With her longsword slashing left and right, she easily tore through the ninjas, killing them one after another.

However, her happy moment was interrupted when someone jumped in to dampen her spirits. The old man Stick while fighting Bokuto, began to criticize her. Yes, Daisy felt he was criticizing her.

"Little girl, who taught you swordsmanship? It's terrible! That move just now, if you had reversed the thrust, you could have killed the enemy behind you. Was there a need to make such a big circle?"

"Sigh, if you had followed through with a right slash, that guy throwing shurikens would be dead."

"Are you using sword techniques? You're just smashing people with it, this looks more like stick techniques. Do you want to learn stickmanship from me?"

The old man rambled on and on. Daisy told him to shut up, but he acted as if he didn't hear her.

"Isn't Bokuto's swordsmanship supposed to be unrivaled in the world? Old man, you still have time to see my fight over here?" Daisy wasn't rigid about her techniques, but the awkward thing was that she had forgotten most of what Colleen Wing had taught her. When the old man criticized her swordsmanship, she just gave up and wielded her longsword however she pleased, relying on her high attributes to bully the ninjas.

"Unrivaled? This guy lost his warrior spirit long ago. His heart is dead; what's the point of talking about being unrivaled?" The old man was full of disdain for Bokuto, chatting with Daisy while fighting.

Despite his disdain, Bokuto's swordsmanship was still the best in the world. The old man was taking advantage of Bokuto's lost right hand, and bullying him with words to stimulate him.

With one hand missing, they were evenly matched, and their clashes produced a constant "clang" of weapons, while on Daisy's side, it was the "puff" of her sword cutting into flesh.

None of the ninjas could withstand a single move, and one by one, they fell. No matter how intricate their formation was, it was useless. After nearly five minutes, Daisy had killed all the ninjas on her side.

Holding her longsword, she stabbed each of the remaining breathing ninjas, and then looked toward the center of the mist.

"Old man, I've finished my fight. Hurry up!"

As soon as she finished speaking, the old man threw the curly-haired head of Bokuto out. The old man was also injured, with a bloody wound on his ribs and a cut on his left leg. His katana was broken in half.

However, he held Bokuto's longsword, with no intention of giving it to Daisy.

The old man didn't look like a blind person at all, sitting on the corpse, tearing a piece of cloth to bandage his wound.

Meanwhile, Daisy punched, and the flames from her fist turned Bokuto's head to ashes. Now, even with soul transfer equipment, he couldn't be revived.

The old man seemed to understand her thoughts, "It's useless. Bokuto copies his consciousness every day. He will be reborn in a new body but without today's memories."

Daisy's thoughts moved slightly, and the old man continued, "Madame Gao won't be revived. She's too old, with too many memories. She opposed this technology from the beginning, and the equipment can't revive her."

Being seen through repeatedly made Daisy uncomfortable. Looking at the old man's upturned blind eyes of Stick, she was amazed. She didn't feel any signs of him reading her mind; he was guessing purely based on life experience!

"How does the Hand have such equipment? This is beyond current technology. Is the reborn Bokuto still Bokuto?" Daisy asked three consecutive questions.

The old man shook his head, "How would a blind old man know? Shouldn't this be something for you S.H.I.E.L.D. to investigate? I only know they met someone in the UK, and then they got the consciousness transfer equipment."

Daisy pondered for a few seconds, "The UK? When did this happen?"

The old man looked at her with his white eyes, "I only know it happened long before my time. Bokuto has transferred bodies at least three times."

"Maybe you have the answers, maybe not. It doesn't matter. The Hand is my lifelong enemy. Even if I can't kill them all, I will train successors to continue killing." The old man's tone was grim, especially when he said "kill," his momentum soared. This had nothing to do with martial arts; it was a personal belief and perseverance.

He could be defeated, he could be killed, but this belief couldn't be destroyed.

The old man finished bandaging his wound, picked up his cane and Bokuto's sword, and walked away alone.

"Hey, old man, do you know where I'm going?" Daisy stopped him. She remembered that the old man seemed to be looking for the entrance to Kunlun?

"I'm not interested. Everywhere is the same. Where there are people, there are grudges. Nowhere is a paradise." The old man didn't stop, quickly disappearing from Daisy's perception as he left the woods.

His words didn't change Daisy's plan. She had been around the world long enough to know that Kunlun wasn't a perfect monolithic paradise. Just like Kamar-Taj which plays with spells, and is full of troubles, how can Kunlun be any better? She just didn't care.

After checking Bokuto's body, as the old man said, it was just a vessel. Bokuto frequently copied his memories, so he didn't carry the Kunlun Elder Ring.

Who owned this advanced technology? Daisy didn't care if the revived person was still Bokuto. She was just frustrated with killing an enemy who would reappear in a few days.

Even if she chopped this Bokuto into pieces, it was useless because he had a way to restore himself!

Cheater! That's all she could think.

Who in the UK could have this ability? There were only a few options, and Daisy immediately thought of Mr. Sinister.

This scientist from Darwin's era, empowered by Apocalypse, had immense intelligence and built a vast underground city in London filled with his clones. As long as one clone survived, his consciousness could transfer to it.

Mr. Sinister, a scientist who had lived for more than two centuries, had been secretly observing mutants. Cyclops and Jean were his targets, and he even created a clone of Jean, the Red Queen Madelyne. He manipulated even Apocalypse and was a legit supervillain.
