Transmigrated Become Sukuna, but the host is Yukinoshita Yukino?

Chapter 135: Chapter 135: A Promising Future

Hey, hey! You two, stop explaining! If you keep going, I'm gonna end up looking like I have some weird interests!

Hikigaya Hachiman quickly got up from the water and signaled to Yuigahama Yui that he was fine.

Although Hayashizaki's hit looked heavy, he didn't actually use any cursed energy. And since Hachiman had protected himself with cursed energy, he wasn't really hurt—just a little sore.

Of course, if Hayashizaki had actually used cursed energy, he'd probably be out cold by now.

Once she saw that Hikigaya Hachiman was okay, Yuigahama Yui let out a deep sigh of relief, then curiously asked,

"Is Hayashizaki-sensei a martial arts teacher?"

"You could say that," Yukinoshita Yukino replied.

"Oh..."

The bun-haired girl pouted a little.

It felt like everyone there knew who Hayashizaki really was, except for her. She was the only one left in the dark.

But before she could dwell on it, her disappointment was quickly replaced by embarrassment and panic.

"So Yui-nee is really worried about my useless big brother, huh?"

Komachi squinted at her with a teasing smile.

"Eh!? No... Of course not!"

After a brief moment of shock, Yuigahama Yui's face turned bright red, as if steam was rising from her head like a boiling kettle.

Feeling that her words might have been too cold toward Hachiman, she quickly added,

"I mean, it's totally normal to worry when you see a friend getting hit like that, right?"

She tried to sound serious, but the blush on her face completely betrayed her.

Komachi's bright eyes sparkled as she nodded approvingly and said,

"Yui-nee is really kind. You're definitely gonna make a great wife someday."

"Ehehe, it's not that big of a deal~!"

The bun-haired girl giggled shyly while rubbing the bun on top of her head.

Seeing that Yuigahama Yui's attention had finally shifted away from him, Hikigaya Hachiman let out a quiet sigh of relief.

Since someone else had shown up, the sparring session had to be called off. He had finally escaped.

Yukinoshita Yukino, who had successfully kept Yuigahama Yui in the dark, also felt a sense of relief.

Her gaze shifted to the black-haired young man standing nearby, shirtless, showing off his perfectly toned body.

After a moment of looking, she quickly turned her head away slightly, but her eyes seemed to have a mind of their own, sneaking glances back at him.

Gradually, a faint blush appeared on her fair cheeks, like the morning glow reflecting off snow, making hearts race.

While Yukinoshita Yukino was observing Hayashizaki, he was also admiring her swimsuit.

The white layered one-piece swimsuit was tied around her slender neck, revealing her smooth, rosy shoulders. It was decorated with small purple flowers, and its fitted design accentuated her slim waist. The skirt extended to her upper thighs, gently swaying in the breeze, with the black swimsuit underneath faintly visible.

Unlike Yukinoshita Yukino, who was too embarrassed to take a good look, Hayashizaki openly and confidently appreciated it.

His straightforward gaze made the blush on her face even more charming.

Hayashizaki nodded slightly in approval.

The only thing lacking was the size in the chest area, but considering her older sister, Yukinoshita Haruno's, proportions, Hayashizaki commented,

"There's potential for the future."

"Huh?"

Yukinoshita Yukino, who was already feeling a bit shy from his gaze, frowned upon hearing this random remark and instinctively started trying to figure out what he meant.

Before she could make sense of it, Komachi pushed Yuigahama Yui over to the slouching dead-fish-eyed boy who was trying to lie down again.

"Alright, big bro, forget about getting beaten up by Hayashizaki for a moment and check out Komachi's new swimsuit!"

Komachi grinned, showing her tiger-like teeth, striking various poses in front of her brother before proudly placing her hands on her hips.

"So, what do you think?"

"Uh, yeah, world's cutest, for sure."

Hikigaya Hachiman replied instantly.

"Tsk, that sounded so half-hearted."

Her dissatisfaction quickly faded, and she pushed the pink-haired girl in front of Hikigaya Hachiman.

"Well then, what do you think of Yui-nee's swimsuit!?"

"Aah, don't do this, Komachi..."

Yuigahama Yui hesitantly lowered her arms, which she had been using to cover herself, and asked nervously,

"So... how does it look?"

"..."

After freezing for a few seconds, Hikigaya Hachiman snapped back to reality, quickly looking away and awkwardly responding,

"Uh, it... it suits you."

"R-really? Ehehe."

She relaxed and smiled her usual cheerful smile.

Komachi then dragged both Hikigaya Hachiman and Yuigahama Yui downstream, saying they should go find Totsuka Saika to play in the water.

With the three of them gone, it became quiet upstream again, leaving only Hayashizaki and Yukinoshita Yukino.

Once they left, Yukinoshita Yukino relaxed a bit and stepped into the cool stream, walking over to the black-haired young man.

"I didn't expect you to start sparring with Hikigaya here. It's a good thing Yuigahama was fooled."

She complained,

"I hope you'll be more mindful of the situation next time."

"What's there to worry about? I never really care."

Hayashizaki said casually.

But when he noticed Yukinoshita Yukino's resentful gaze, he quickly changed his tone.

"Alright, alright, I'll be careful next time."

"But playing in a small stream like this is kind of boring."

Hayashizaki changed the topic,

"Let's go to the beach next time."

"Sure."

The girl nodded lightly and agreed.

"But after this training camp, I need to go home first."

When Yukinoshita Yukino mentioned going home, she meant returning to the Yukinoshita family estate. Haruno had already mentioned this yesterday while they were having ramen.

Even though Haruno usually helped cover for her absence, it wouldn't make sense to stay away from home the entire summer break.

"It's fine. You can always run away whenever you want."

Hayashizaki waved his hand indifferently.

"That's true."

Things are different now. I used to instinctively respect my mother, but that respect is almost completely gone now, especially after that incident at the police station.

The serious and strict image of my mother has completely shattered in Yukinoshita Yukino's eyes.

In this way, Hayashizaki has actually helped improve the relationship between my family members. I should find a chance to thank him properly.

Although I know that no matter what I do, I can never repay Hayashizaki for what he's done for me, I still have to show my gratitude.

Yukinoshita Yukino suddenly fell silent, lost in thought.

Maybe the fireworks festival before the summer break ends would be a good opportunity.
