Two Summit War :One Piece

Chapter 18: chapter 18:Roger: Garp! I Shouldn’t Have Entrusted My Son to You

The Difference in Strength

"(Present) Luffy: Gear 3? Wouldn't it be enough just to use your hands? Is this the result of Garp's training in the other world? You're only at Gear 3?"

"(Original) Luffy: Then how many gears can you reach?"

"(Present) Luffy: Gear Fifth!"

"What?!"

Pirate Luffy was stunned.

How is that even possible?!

The other version of himself was the same age.

Yet, he had already reached Gear Fifth?!

Luffy couldn't believe it.

He hadn't even started training for Gear Fourth yet, and this other him had already unlocked a fifth form? If he didn't know himself so well, he would have thought his counterpart was lying.

But he wasn't.

Pirate Luffy was in complete shock.

"I've trained so hard all my life. I've fought countless battles. I've never stopped pushing forward. By all logic, my progress should be among the fastest possible.

"How could I be falling behind... myself?"

Luffy clenched his fists.

"Just how did I become so strong in the other world? Did I really become an Admiral through sheer effort alone?"

His mind raced with questions.

"Once the video on my side finishes playing, I should be able to see the one over there."

He muttered to himself, eager to understand what made his counterpart so different.

Garp's Brutal Training Continues

The next few days…

What everyone witnessed once again shattered their perception of reality.

At first, many thought Garp had thrown Luffy off a cliff on impulse.

But they were wrong.

Very, very wrong.

Because the next day…

Garp threw Luffy into a deserted forest.

The day after that…

He tossed Luffy into a pack of wild beasts.

And on the fourth day…

He launched Luffy high into the sky—where he was promptly carried away by a giant eagle.

"..."

This cycle continued for days.

And every single day, Luffy returned in rags, looking like he had barely survived.

"(Present) Sengoku: Garp, your training methods are completely absurd. I can't watch this anymore. Are you seriously training him, or are you just trying to kill him?!"

"(Original) Garp: Nonsense! Look how much stronger Luffy has gotten!"

"(Present) Sengoku: Stronger?! He didn't even learn anything! What skills could he possibly develop from this? Learning how to be a savage?!"

Then came the tenth day.

Little Luffy was exhausted—both mentally and physically.

On this day, Garp took Luffy out again.

The audience felt nervous.

After what had happened in the past few days, no one could predict what insane idea Garp would come up with next.

But this time…

Things were different.

---

A "Great" Place to Stay

Garp didn't throw Luffy anywhere.

Instead, he led him deep into the mountains.

Little Luffy looked around in confusion.

"Where is this? Grandpa, why are we here?"

Garp continued walking, casually picking his nose and flicking it aside.

Then he said, "Grandpa's vacation is over. I need to return to Marine Headquarters."

Luffy's eyes widened.

"Eh?! You're leaving?!"

Garp ignored his shock and continued, "Don't worry, Grandpa found a very nice place for you to stay."

"A very nice place?" Luffy asked, slightly hopeful.

Garp nodded.

"Yeah. There's even another kid there who's a bit older than you. You two should get along just fine."

The audience had a bad feeling about this.

"(Present) Sengoku: I don't trust Garp's definition of a 'nice place.'"

"(Present) Tsuru: After everything he's done? There's no way this place is good."

"(Present) Garp: Hahaha, I know where this is going. The other me really went too far."

"(Present) Luffy: Seeing how rude and clueless that Luffy is, it definitely wasn't a good place."

"(Original) Luffy: No! It was great! I learned so much there!"

Then the scene changed.

Garp and Luffy arrived at a worn-out wooden house deep in the mountains.

Above the house…

A bandit flag fluttered in the wind.

The entire audience gasped.

"Wait… is that a den of bandits?!"

"Why do I have a very bad feeling about this?"

"No way… is Garp seriously leaving Luffy with a bunch of mountain bandits?!"

"(Present) Sengoku: Garp! You are unbelievable!"

"(Original) Garp: Haha, thank you!"

"(Present) Sengoku: That wasn't a compliment!"

Luffy was still clueless.

Garp knocked on the door and yelled, "Hey! Dadan!"

A loud, irritated voice responded from inside.

"Stop shouting! Can't you read the sign? No Garp allowed!"

The door slammed open, revealing a large woman with dyed blonde hair, a cigarette in her mouth, and a machete in her hand.

She did not look friendly.

"Hahaha!" Garp laughed as he kicked the door down and barged in.

"This kid—his name is Luffy. He's my grandson. He'll be living with you from now on."

Dadan's cigarette nearly fell from her mouth.

"What?! You brought another brat?! The last one was already a handful! Do I look like a babysitter to you?!"

She was furious.

"Don't treat this place like a daycare! Raise your own damn grandson!"

Garp waved her off.

"Haha, I'm leaving. I'll check in later."

And just like that…

He turned around and walked away.

"DAMN IT! That guy always does whatever he wants and never listens to anyone!"

Dadan yelled after him, her anger boiling over.

"..."

The audience was silent.

Then—

HISS—!

A collective gasp filled the room.

"HE REALLY DID IT. HE ACTUALLY LEFT HIS GRANDSON WITH BANDITS."

---

The Marines React

"(Present) Sengoku: Thank god Luffy was raised by Ron in our world. If he had ended up with Garp, there's no way he would've become a Marine."

"(Present) Hina: Luffy Admiral's childhood in that world is simply unimaginable…"

"(Present) Kizaru: Oi, oi~ You're literally raising a future pirate, Garp. Your way of thinking seems a little off."

The live chat exploded.

For the first time, people witnessed a grandfather intentionally leaving his grandson in the worst possible environment.

Most people work hard to provide their grandchildren with a good upbringing, keeping them away from bad influences.

Garp, on the other hand?

He just dumped Luffy with a group of mountain bandits and walked away.

At this moment, everything made sense.

No wonder Luffy became a pirate in that world.

Education and environment truly shape a person.

If a child is raised by bandits, how could he possibly grow up to be a Marine?

Garp's outrageous behavior was too much—even for the Pirate King.

---

Roger Regrets His Decision

For the first time since the broadcast began, Gol D. Roger was furious.

"(Original) Roger: GARP!!! If I had known this was how you raised children, I NEVER would have entrusted my son to you!"

He was filled with regret.

If this is how Garp treats his own grandson… then what about Ace?!

---

A Young Boy Returns

As everyone processed the madness…

A young boy walked into the scene, carrying a wild boar on his shoulders.

His messy black hair stuck out, and his freckled face was covered in dirt.

His sharp eyes glanced at the newcomer.

Luffy turned to look at him.

The boy frowned.

"Another brat?"

Ace had arrived.
