Vampire Summoner's Rebirth: Summoning The Vampire Queen At The Start

Chapter 1287: Using Skills

-----

And aside from the extra parameters that merge their machines with the familiars granted, there were also the many buffs that other Familiars can provide to them. And with [Familiar Sacrifice] it is also possible to turn Familiars into Buff Cards, using them on allies to grant them bonus stats and new temporary Skills.

-----

[Familiar Sacrifice: Lv7]

Skill Proficiency: 0/70000

As a Master Summoner, your Familiars have not only become strong allies, but also resources that can be used to further enhance your own strength, that of your allies, or other Familiars.

By choosing an unsummoned Familiar Card, you can {Sacrifice} it, and gain a {Buff Card} instead based on the Familiar you've sacrificed. These {Buff Cards} can be used to enhance a target, yourself, an ally, or even another Familiar.

Based in the {Sacrifice}, these {Buff Cards} will give temporary enhancements, new skills, or abilities for a short amount of time. It is also possible to {Sacrifice} Cards to regain part of the MP you spent using them, alongside a buff, and also some HP.

These buffs durations, effects and restoration of MP and HP increase by +10% with each Skill Level. The Maximum Amount of {Buff Cards} that can be used on a single target (including yourself), increases based on Skill Level.

Availability:

Level 7: [Buff Card Limit: 7] [Buff Duration: +70%] [Buff Effect: +70%]

This Skill in specific seemed to have leveled up really nicely, although it'll only be around half of these bonuses, I can still use three cards on any ally with it!

And lastly, there was [Familiar Element Bestowal] which allowed me to grant Elemental Buffs to allies, giving them the power to obtain Elements of their own. Although this might be rather useless against beings that can live in the vacuum of space… But they also granted special Bonus Stats, and well…

-----

[Familiar Element Bestowal: Lv6]

Skill Proficiency: 0/60000

A Unique Skill that only Grandmaster Summoners can learn, it grants them the ability to enchant their Familiars with one or multiple Elements of their choosing, giving their Skills and Defenses the Elements Powers, Resistances, and also Weaknesses.

A Familiar can only be bestowed with a maximum amount of 3 Elements, a second Element Slot will be unlocked at Skill Level 5, and the third at Skill Level 8.

Once enchanted with that Element, the Elemental Power and Elemental Defense based in such Elements will be further boosted by 100%, with an additional 25% with each Skill Level. (Current Bonus +250%)

Based on the bestowed Element, Familiars will undergo unique transformations and might gain new temporary skills and Stat Bonuses.

New Elements will be unlocked as the Skill Levels Up.

Available Elements: [Fire] [Water] [Wind] [Light] [Ice] [Darkness] [Space] [???]

-----

Seeing the Skill at Level 6, with a new Element unlocked every Level, I could already tell there might be an element that would be rather helpful in our endeavors.

Space.

This was the latest element I unlocked, one I didn't get to try that much, as other elements such as Ice and Light were more effective against the Lizardmen or the Demons of the Elven Continent.

But if I coat everyone on the Elemental Bestowal Buff of Space, then they not only will receive a great elemental resistance to the Space around us, probably, but also against spatial manipulation powers, such as Domains.

"Alright, let's begin." I nodded. "Now that you're getting accustomed to your new machine powers. I will grant you another buff. I will gift you a powerful Talent, it will be random, it might be based or not on your current abilities or personal talents, but it could be about anything."

As I said that, I had noticed Hermes, Patrick, and Emilia were also by my side and ready. I had forgotten to infuse them with their own Familiar Spirits, so I decided to do that right now.

"But first, your Generals shall now receive their upgrades as well, for this one last battle," I said. "You three, come over here."

"Eh? Us?" Patrick quickly flew towards Blake, confused.

"We've received so much already though, Blake…" Emilia felt a bit embarrassed.

"It seems you have something in mind… What is it?" Hermes asked.

"I will grant you my strongest Familiars, which I believe are the most compatible with you, and which should grant you a great boost to your parameters," I explained.

"First, for Emilia it will be Bestellen's Familiar and several other powerful Dragon Familiars I had."

FLUOSH!

"Woah?!"

Emilia's robot instantly transformed, taking the shape of her previous form activating the Skill I had given her before, but now permanently as long as the Familiar didn't die.

"For Patrick, you will receive the power of the Elven Knights," I said.

"Elven Knights?" He was confused.

"Elfjenson is their strongest general, the rest are still rather strong on their own, almost the same stats as him," I explained.

FLUOSH!

"Huh?!"

Patrick reacted with surprise, naturally, his robot suddenly transformed and gained a majestic and knightly appearance, the power of Elfjenson infused within, as it exuded an aura of elemental and magical spirit energy.

"And lastly, Hermes… You're perhaps the only one Skadi wouldn't mind. I will grant to you the power of the Queen of Frost Fairies," I waved my hand.

FLUOSH!

The moment I did, Skadi and her Fairies inhabited the robot that Hermes piloted, making it rapidly transform his machine warrior, which became slenderer and more gained a huge pair of fairy wings made of glass-like material and ethereal and photon energy, above its head, it had a floating blue crystal crown glowing with artificial lights, and its colors turned mostly white and blue.

"And it's done," I said. "You've been bestowed my best Familiars. Bestellen, Elfjenson, and Skadi. They take a lot of resources to be summoned if they die again, but I am hoping they can protect you well. You do your best as well."

I had imbued Bestellen and some of my strongest dragon familiars into Emilia's mech, Elfjenson and his strongest soldiers into Patrick's mech, and Skadi and her fairies into Hermes' mech.
