Villain MMORPG: Almighty Devil Emperor and His Seven Demonic Wives

Chapter 849: Unwelcome

Villain Ch 849. Unwelcome

Allen hummed thoughtfully, his gaze distant as he processed the words of his companions. He couldn't deny that Jane was right. The gym had been his refuge long before Sophia's arrival, and he had every right to claim it as his own. "You're right," Allen admitted, his voice cutting through the cacophony of the mutant turtle's roars below. "Why should I be the one who backs down?

Why should I give in to her?" His voice grew firmer with conviction as he nodded to himself.

Jane grinned widely, her eyes gleaming with approval. "Now that's the spirit!" she exclaimed, clearly pleased with his change in attitude.

Alice, floating nearby on her broom, nodded in agreement. "She has a point," Alice admitted, her tone pragmatic. "You shouldn't have to give up your place because of her."

Larissa, hovering gracefully with her wings, smirked. "So, are you planning to take over the gym?" she asked, a playful glint in her eyes. "I mean, the influence. I can help you," she added, her smirk widening into a grin.

An evil smirk appeared on Allen's lips as the idea took root in his mind. "That would be interesting," he said, a spark of excitement flickering in his eyes.

Bella cleared her throat, cutting through the moment of camaraderie. "Sorry to ruin your happiness, but wasn't the whole idea so that she wouldn't find Allen?" she reminded them, her tone practical and slightly concerned.

The group paused, considering her words. Shea shrugged nonchalantly. "But even if she finds Allen, what can she do?" she asked rhetorically. "They've been broken up for a long time, and the Goldborne mansion doesn't accept any guests. Allen is already in a position she can't reach."

Shea moved closer to Allen, her eyes locking onto his with a determined intensity. "Instead," she continued, her voice low and persuasive, "I think you should claim back what you lost." Explore more at My Virtual Library Empire

Allen glanced at Shea, curiosity piqued. "What do you mean?" he asked, his brow furrowing slightly.

Vivian, hovering nearby, caught on to Shea's implication. "You mean he should take what she wants to destroy?" she asked, a dry smile playing on her lips.

Shea nodded slightly, her gaze still fixed on Allen. "Exactly. Sophia wants to undermine you, to disrupt your life. But instead of letting her win, you should take control. Reclaim your space, your influence. Show her that you're not someone to be messed with."

"But what for?" Allen asked, a deep frown creasing his forehead. "I don't think she will stop or come to her senses unless there is a miracle," he added, his voice tinged with frustration and resignation.

Jane smirked, her eyes glinting with mischief. "Then we'll play around until that miracle happens," she said, her tone light but determined.

"Oh, she will need more than a miracle for that," Vivian claimed, her voice carrying a note of warning. The others turned to her, curiosity and concern etched on their faces.

"Why?" asked Bella, her fox ears twitching with interest.

"This is just a rumor," Vivian began, her tone serious, "but one of the agency's staff told me that Sophia has been trying to find out more information about Allen and me from anyone she can. So, I guess she is planning the same thing at the agency."

A collective murmur of concern spread through the group. Allen's frown deepened, and his thoughts churned with the implications of Vivian's words. Sophia wasn't just trying to disrupt his life; she was actively seeking ways to undermine him, both in the gym and at the agency.

"So, she's trying to dig up dirt on me?" Allen asked, a mixture of disbelief and anger in his voice.

Vivian nodded. "It seems that way. She's determined, and if she's willing to go this far, we need to be prepared for anything."

Shea stepped closer to Allen, her eyes intense. "All the more reason for you to take back control. If she's trying to destroy your reputation and your space, you need to show her that you're not afraid to fight back."

Allen looked around at his friends, their supportive faces giving him strength. "But how do we do that?" he asked, still unsure of the best course of action.

Jane's smirk widened. "We use her own tactics against her. We gather information, we build alliances, and we strengthen your position. Make it clear that you're not someone to be trifled with."

Bella nodded, her expression serious. "We can start by solidifying your presence at the gym. Talk to some staff, get them on our side. Then, you extend that influence to the agency. Make connections, show them who you are."

Alice, still perched on her broom, chimed in, "And don't forget to be visible. Presence is power. The more people see you as a leader, the harder it will be for her to undermine you."

Allen took a deep breath, feeling the weight of their words. They were right. He couldn't just sit back and let Sophia dictate the terms. He needed to be proactive, to reclaim his space and his reputation.

"Let's see what I can do," Allen said, trying to sound more confident than he felt.

Shea noticed the hesitation in his voice. "Why do you look reluctant?" she asked, her eyes narrowing slightly as she studied him.

"I'm not reluctant," Allen stated, though the firmness in his voice wavered. "It's just..." His words trailed off, and he looked away, his thoughts drifting to a place he rarely allowed himself to visit.

The truth was, there was a pain in his chest that he couldn't quite shake, a familiar ache that had been with him since childhood. His mother's words echoed in his mind, a constant reminder to never attract too much attention. She had always drilled into him the importance of staying in the shadows, of not making waves.

After all, he was an illegitimate child, a secret to be hidden rather than a person to be celebrated.

These memories flooded back, unbidden and unwelcome.
