Chapter 146 You did it
My father began to walk and sat at his desk, with a serene and observant expression. His gaze settled on Roberto, who respectfully bowed in greeting. Noah simply nodded in acknowledgment. My mother approached and handed the sword to my father. Noah examined the blade carefully, admiring its quality and design.
With expert skill, he drew the blade from its sheath and observed it with bright eyes. "Magnificent, a great sword," he declared with admiration. Then, he drew his own sword, one of Celestial rank, and with a swift motion, he sliced through the air. Noah's sword shattered like butter under Anthony's blade. A small smile of satisfaction formed on his face as he nodded in approval.
Finally, Noah turned his gaze towards Anthony and posed a crucial question: "This sword is bound to your soul, isn't it?" With a serious nod, Anthony confirmed his father's words. Noah then turned to Roberto, with a determined expression on his face.
"My wife informed me that you signed a contract with her," Noah began. "I don't care about the money you need. I want you to forge me an Imperial rank sword. Don't worry about the materials; I have them all. If the sword you create meets my satisfaction, I will give you 3 million gold coins."
Roberto's eyes widened with amazement at the magnitude of the offer. After pondering for a few seconds, he nodded seriously, "I hope to meet your expectations."
Noah nodded in satisfaction. Then, he changed the subject with a softer expression, "My son informed me that you have a young daughter. She'll be under my protection. You can choose one of the vacant houses within the compound. Take all the time you need to create the sword. Afterwards, I'll call to discuss the design details."
Roberto expressed his sincere gratitude to Noah for the opportunity and trust placed in him. After concluding the conversation, he politely bid farewell to everyone present and left.
Shortly after, Lysandra entered, showing respect to Noah with a greeting. My father took the opportunity to ask Lysandra some questions, and time passed quickly as the four of us conversed in the office. After a while, Lysandra departed.
"Is Emily already in the imperial capital?" I asked my father. Since my arrival, I hadn't seen my sister, so I assumed she was already in the heart of the empire. "Yes, Emily is already in the capital," confirmed my mother with a nod. After assimilating the information for a moment, I expressed my wish: "I want to take Lysandra with me to the academy."
My father nodded in approval, "That's fine," he replied, and my mother agreed as well. After chatting a little more, I bid them farewell with gratitude.
Noah's POV:
After seeing his son's sword completely vanish, Noah fell into his thoughts. "He has grown," commented his wife proudly. She, like Noah, was also surprised by the change Anthony had undergone. There was no longer hatred in his eyes every time they saw him; he even treated them with respect. He didn't show the typical disdain he used to direct towards them.
Noah looked out the window, lost in thought. He vividly remembered how, half a year ago, he had denied Anthony permission to practice swordsmanship. Every day, he watched Anthony arrive early without fail, something he initially thought would be a passing phase. However, to his surprise, Anthony continued his dedication for the following six months.
Noah grew deeply concerned when Anthony disappeared overnight, but after a few hours of intense searching, he managed to find him heading into the forest in the company of the second Snow Princess. From that moment on, he kept a vigilant eye on him, even during the battle against the corrupted Lysandra.
He was about to intervene, but he watched as his son managed to kill the demon and save the situation.
Over time, Noah began to trust Anthony again and stopped monitoring him so constantly. On the other hand, his wife became increasingly anxious, so he decided to search for Anthony himself. During the brief battle he had with him, he noticed that his son's bloodline was much stronger than his, with an innate affinity towards darkness. The two began to talk for a long time about their thoughts.

Anthony entered his room and found Ema and Lysandra focused at the desk, studying together. As he watched, he noticed Ema sweating coldly on her forehead, her expression extremely serious as she listened to Lysandra's lessons. Upon noticing his approaching steps, Ema's eyes widened and began to shine, conveying a wordless message of help.
However, Lysandra only gave Anthony a loving smile before focusing back on Ema.
Despite feeling powerless against Ema's resentful gaze and the seriousness of the situation, Anthony decided not to intervene. He knew that Lysandra took her magic lessons with Ema very seriously, and intruding at that moment could only cause more problems. Besides, he recognized that the joint study was beneficial for Ema, who was learning and improving thanks to Lysandra's tutoring.
Therefore, Anthony chose to let them continue their lessons undisturbed. He smiled resignedly as he watched the two concentrated on their studies.
On the other hand, Anthony left the room, exited the house, and stood looking around, taking out the necklace from his pocket, closing his eyes, sending a signal. After a few seconds, the girl appeared out of nowhere, her eyes sparkling as she looked at the necklace in Anthony's hands.
Anthony watched in awe as the girl took the necklace he tossed to her, her trembling hands betraying her eager longing. Swiftly, she placed it around her neck, as if it were an amulet containing all her dreams. Her eyes, once dull and filled with sadness, now sparkled with indescribable emotion, and tiny tears of joy escaped them, like drops from a newly discovered spring.
With a gentle yet determined gesture, Anthony activated his mana eyes, and his heart trembled at the miracle unfolding before his very eyes. The darkness that had enveloped the girl's soul began to slowly fade away, like mist dissipating before the first rays of the morning sun.
When the girl's eyes finally opened, they gleamed with renewed light, brimming with hope and determination. She jumped with excitement, her feet barely touching the ground, and exclaimed with a trembling yet grateful voice, "You did it! Well done!" Her tiny fist clenched tightly, her face transforming into a reflection of pure happiness.
