I broke the kiss with Lisa, my Infrid giggling as our lips separated.

"Happy birthday my love~"

"Ehehe~ Thank you, Lisa. You're not planning anything today are you?"

"What? How could I be?!"

Odeta snorted beside me, "Hmph! Didn't you try to turn the party into an orgy last year? You were the one who slipped that aphrodisiac into the drinks weren't you?"

That got me a little worried, "What do you mean by that?"

Right then, the door to the main hall opened and Mother returned with Justinia and Levianne following behind her.

Ironically, this wouldn't even be the first time the both of them came here during my birthday, it was just that the memories of them attending the party were also wiped from their memories.

I curtsied to return her greeting, "Thank you for coming, your Majesty. I would indeed be attending the main Academy after this."

"I see. I assume you might be teleporting there?"

I shook my head, "I am not. I wish to take my time to travel to Anam City before I start schooling again. I believe that I still lack practical experience and intend to get more before I attend the school."

"I believe she is also attending the party, your Majesty."

"Umu… In that case, I shall seek her out," She turned and only 'just realised' that everyone else was staring in this direction.

She then made a show of waving her hands at the other attendees, "Please be at ease everyone. Since our good students of Aerialla Academy are celebrating here today, I simply thought that I should show up here and congratulate all of you as well. Please do not stand on ceremony as this is your day! Be proud that you are all one of the elites that have graduated from that school and I look forward to seeing what all of you can achieve in the future for this Kingdom!"

She then went ahead to join the crowd and Levianne snuck in a wave and a smile at me as she passed by before following behind Justinia.

I felt a tug on my arm and I turned to see Odeta leaning over to whisper, "Sister Aster… Is the King going to join us for the slumber party tonight?"

I blinked, "Ah… I… Don't know?"

Lisa leaned on my other side, "I think she is… No way the both of them will want to miss out on tonight."

I turned to her, "Miss out on tonight? Why? What's going to happen?"

"Ehehehe~ You'll see, Aster~ It's a surprise~"

Ok, now I'm really concerned…

Mother came back to my side and hugged me again, putting me back in the same position as before while she patted my head.

"Ufufufu~ Is my little one having fun?"

Well… I don't know if you can call it fun but I've pretty much only been standing here and receiving birthday wishes from everyone…

But I do enjoy the sight of all my schoolmates celebrating together right now so I guess you could say that I was indeed having fun.

Right then, the lights in the hall darkened, though it wasn't to the point of it being impossible to see.

A spotlight was then shone on the stage where a single chair stood.

Delmare walked up onto the stage and took a seat on the chair before her legs turned back into her tail.

Naturally, I had my full attention on her as her presence silenced the crowd before she started to sing.

She started with a sombre tone at first and it took me but a moment to know what kind of song it was.

It was a song about separation and moving on, which I felt was a rather weird song for her to sing here even though it matched up with our situation.

Everyone was graduating and we would be pretty much going our separate ways. That was especially true in my case since I intend to set off within the next few days after I have finished my preparations.

I thought Mother, Mary, Sebastian, the servants, the King and Queen, or even my schoolmates might try to stop me from leaving and convince me to stay. But to my surprise, they were all quite supportive and wished me good luck on my journey.

Truth be told, there was no reason for me to leave that soon but I know that the longer I stayed here, the harder it was for me to start my journey.

I already know that Katsuki, Odeta, Lisa, Delmare and Emilia would be accompanying me on this journey of mine.

Tiara had not given me her answer yet on whether she was coming along or not so I intend to ask her again tonight.

Delmare's song continued and she sang about how farewells may be unavoidable but the memories that we have gained would live on for as long as we live.

I was just beginning to immerse myself into the music when I felt a sudden shift in the air.

Then I heard soft sobbing sounds coming from some of my schoolmates, whom I assumed were moved by the song which made them start to cry.

Odeta and Lisa don't seem to be affected but they were still clinging to my arms and of course, Mother was also softly patting my head from behind while silently enjoying Delmare's 'practice' performance.

But as much as I wanted to immerse myself in Delmare's singing, the feeling of magic in the air kind of worried me as I wondered where it was coming from.

I focused my senses to try and see what the magic was until I realised it was coming from Delmare's direction.

Wait… Is she… She is!! She's using her magic to sing?!

I panicked a little and quickly activated my [Mind Shield] until Lisa tapped me on the shoulder and shook her head.

"There's no need, Aster~"

I turned back to look at the stage and Delmare was definitely singing seriously right now instead of treating it like a practice session.

Even with [Mind Shield] up, I could feel the magic in the air weaving through the crowd so I tried to reach out my senses to try and sense what it was.

This was something that I learned I could do after reaching tier three in my Mana Management as I seemed to become more sensitive to mana.

Concentrating, I realised that the magic that was being weaved into her song was not the same as before.

Unlike the other times where she would sing for me, this magic felt more… Contained?

To be more precise, her magic in her songs felt very excitable and free, but this one felt more muted and soft? I'm not even sure if that makes sense.

"Since when…" I asked.

Mother giggled, "Little Delmare wanted to keep this a secret from you~ But Mama shall let her tell you herself~ Although… Ufufufu~ It seems like it isn't perfect yet~"

Right as I was about to ask what she meant by that, Delmare finished her song and there was a sudden rush of movement from the crowd as everyone suddenly turned around and rushed towards me.

I wasn't too worried since Odeta, Lisa and Mother were still with me but I was still quite taken aback to see so many people rush towards me suddenly.

"Lady Aster!!! Please marry me!!"

"Aster, don't leave!! I can't bear to see you go!!"

"Lady Aster! Take my virginity before you go please!!"

"Aster!! Please step on me before you leave!!"
