Chapter 116: Chapter 93. Beware! A Black Figure
Kuoh Academy, Kuoh, Japan
The protective boundary fields surrounding the city—meticulously crafted by the three great factions—had been ripped apart like paper.
What followed was inevitable.
The Chaos Brigade had launched a full-scale assault, their forces clashing violently with the troops of the Biblical Faction. This was no mere skirmish, no half-baked attack thrown together in desperation.
They had prepared. They had planned.
And now, they had come to destroy.
"Issei-san! Hold on for a second!" Asia's voice rang out as her Sacred Gear emitted a soft golden glow, its healing light mending the wounds of the battered Red Dragon Emperor.
"Idiot!" Ravel Phoenix sighed, crossing her arms. "Why are you doing something so reckless?"
"Man... There are so many of them. You okay, Issei?"
Sweat dripped from Saji Genshirou's forehead as he pulled Issei Hyoudou back to his feet.
"Heh... I'm fine." Issei grinned despite the pain, wiping blood from his lips. "And I regret nothing!"
Saji sighed. "Damn pervert... At least you're brave."
At the heart of the battlefield, Azazel narrowed his eyes, piecing together the enemy's strategy.
"Magicians... could it be... an ambush from Nilrem and the Old Devils Faction?" His gaze locked onto Katarea Leviathan, one of the faction's leaders.
She smirked. "Yes~ and not just Nilrem. Our army is vast. You should have known this day would come."
A sinister presence emerged from the shadows—a man in tattered, dark robes, his very being exuding madness. His attire was ragged and decayed, reflecting a mind twisted by darkness.
His voice echoed through the battlefield like a death knell.
"Finally, this day has arrived! We will feast upon these puppets of God soon!" His laughter was laced with deranged ecstasy. "Ahhh… Jeanne… my poor Jeanne is gone. But fear not, for the humble Gilles de Rais has prepared a grand banquet of death! Eat your fill!"
From the abyss, grotesque monsters erupted, tearing through the battlefield. Some warriors held their ground, deflecting the beasts' relentless assaults, while others fell within moments, devoured before they could even scream.
Michael's eyes widened in shock.
"Gilles de Rais?! Impossible! He died centuries ago... and he looked nothing like this."
Emilia, witnessing the senseless carnage, clutched her chest. Her voice trembled as she whispered, "Why must there be so much pain and suffering? Is there no other way?"
Garou gritted his teeth, fists clenched. "This is why the world needs absolute evil… so bastards like these can never do whatever they want."
Azazel, recognizing the growing imbalance of power, took action.
"It's not good—our side is getting pushed back! We need reinforcements!" With a flick of his wrist, he chanted a spell, transforming his maid uniform into his formal battle attire. He turned to a familiar figure.
"Lord Kazuma, you're quite the astonishing individual. Mind lending us your strength again?"
Before Kazuma could respond, a smug voice added fuel to the fire.
"Do something, Lord Kazuma! Cào nǐ mā, these people!" Satria smirked, his words dripping with mischief. "How dare they interrupt a peace meeting in your presence? Their parents must have never taught them manners. Now's the perfect time to show them your power, don't you think?"
Kazuma paled.
"Don't talk nonsense! What the hell do you want me to do? Sprinkle some dust on them?!"
Meanwhile, Irina turned to Michael with determination burning in her eyes.
"Lord Michael, may I assist in defeating these heretics?"
Michael nodded. "Go."
Rias Gremory stepped forward. "My peerage can provide support as well. Let us fight."
Sirzechs hesitated. "But—"
Grayfia placed a gentle hand on his shoulder, stopping him.
"This is a chance for Rias-sama and her peerage to grow stronger. Trust her, Sirzechs-sama. And... please change your outfit first."
Defeated, Sirzechs sighed and reluctantly complied.
Not to be outdone, Sona stepped forward. "I refuse to lose to Rias. Onee-sama, let me participate as well."
Serafall was torn. She wanted to protect her younger sister but knew she had to let her grow. She sighed.
"...Fine. But if the situation becomes dangerous, you must retreat. Promise me?"
Sona nodded. "I promise."
Saji straightened up, beating a fist against his chest.
"Don't worry, Serafall-sama! I, Saji, the pawn of Sona-sama, will protect her with my body and soul!"
Issei grinned, patting his own chest. "Same here! I'll protect Buchou no matter what!"
But deep inside, another thought weighed on Issei's mind. And maybe... just maybe... we'll find clues about the whereabouts of the Black Flash.
Without warning, a crackling storm of red lightning exploded in front of them, illuminating the dimly lit chamber.
A figure emerged from the sparks, his black outfit blazing under the crimson glow.
The intruder had arrived.
"Ahhh... Here we go again."
Albion sighed within his host's mind, already predicting disaster.
Valiana, standing beside him, let out a long sigh before burying her face in her palm.
'I hope he does not make me feel embarrassed for today? Baka puppy!'
A dark chuckle echoed across the room.
The intruder stood tall, his presence oozing with malice. His grin was sharp—mocking.
"Hello, ladies and gentlemen~ Do you remember me?"
A chill ran down their spines.
Everyone in the Devil faction instantly recognized that voice.
The man responsible for one of their greatest nightmares.
The one who abducted—
Koneko Toujou.
"BLACK FLASH!"
Issei's fury exploded as he took a step forward, fists trembling with rage.
"Where's Koneko-chan?! Return her to us!"
Satria smirked, stretching his arms lazily as if this entire thing was a game.
"Nope~" he teased, tilting his head.
"You guys forgot the deal? Two billion dollars—or something of equal value—for the little kitten's safe return."
His grin widened, his next words sending a wave of revulsion through the room.
"Unless… you don't care about your friend?" His tone was light, almost playful—then it darkened.
"No matter the choice, I win."
His eyes gleamed as he licked his lips.
"She is to my taste, after all. Slender, soft… delicious." His voice dropped into something disturbingly intimate. "I can't wait to feast on that delicate little body again. Yummy~ Hahaha!"
"You... You MANIAC!"
Ravel Phoenix shouted, her voice filled with disgust and rage.
"Such evil..." Michael's golden wings flared with divine power, his expression twisted in unfiltered fury. "Someone like you must be punished and eradicated from this world!"
"Don't you dare touch my Rook!"
Rias' voice was sharp, deadly. Her crimson aura flared, eyes burning with hatred.
From the sidelines, Emilia stood speechless.
Kazuma, who had seen his fair share of lunatics, felt a bead of sweat roll down his forehead.
'Crazy. Absolutely insane. I bet the Demon Lord in my world looks like a saint compared to this bastard.'
Satria smirked at their expressions.
"Satisfied?" He let out an exaggerated sigh.
"Now then..." His grin stretched wider. "Let's get the show started."
"Ice Maiden."
Before Satria could react, Grayfia's voice rang out like a final judgment.
The temperature plummeted.
A massive coffin of ice erupted beneath him, its crystalline prison sealing him within its razor-sharp embrace.
A thousand frosted spears pierced his body instantly.
"AGGHHH! What... Sorcery is this...?!"
Tsubaki's eyes widened in awe.
"Since... when?!"
Akeno, watching from the side, felt nothing but admiration.
"This… this is the power of the Strongest Queen in the Underworld," she whispered.
Her fingers curled.
'I want to be like her… A Queen my King can be proud of.'
"Did you get him?" Satria asked her with a laid back attitude.
Grayfia's silver eyes narrowed.
The ice prison remained still.
Then—
A flash of red lightning.
Grayfia's eyes widened.
The air behind her crackled.
Satria stood right behind her.
Sirzechs reacted instantly, summoning a massive orb of destruction energy and firing it point-blank—
But—
Satria vanished in an instant.
The attack missed completely.
Michael's grip on his sword tightened.
'Fast… I couldn't even see his movement!'
Azazel groaned, rubbing his temples.
'Not another monster... My head hurts.'
Satria chuckled, stretching his arms lazily.
"Did you really think that would kill me?"
His grin sharpened.
"I'm the FASTEST MAN ALIVE on this planet, bitch!"
Satria's eyes gleamed with amusement, a wicked smirk tugging at his lips.
"Now… about my payment."
His voice was casual, almost bored, but the room felt heavier with every word.
"Because you rudely attacked a gentleman like me while I was being so kind…"
He leaned back lazily, crossing his legs
"I want one more thing from you, Devils."
Rias clenched her fists.
"What? What else do you want from us?!"
Satria's grin widened.
"I want a set of Evil Pieces."
The room tensed.
Sirzechs and Serafall's eyes widened in alarm.
"What do you want to do with them?" Sirzechs demanded, his tone unusually sharp.
Satria let out a carefree laugh, spinning his chair slightly before stopping abruptly.
He leaned forward, resting his chin on his knuckles.
"Oh~ that's not your business."
His voice was sing-song, deliberately teasing.
"But don't worry, I'll put them to good use."
His smirk turned wicked.
"Either you abide by my demands… or say goodbye to your little kitten."
His fingers drummed on the table.
"Because I'm starting to take quite a liking to her, muehehehe~ Especially... When she screaming."
He chuckled darkly, his eyes flickering with dangerous amusement.
Then, his voice dropped into a mockingly slow count—each number drawn out like a death sentence.
"Ten… Nine… Eight…"
His voice was mockingly slow, dragging out every number like a death sentence.
"No... You BASTARD!"
Issei lunged again—
But Satria didn't even bother dodging this time.
He tilted his head slightly, letting the attack whiff past him effortlessly.
The gap between their speeds was too vast.
Issei was nothing to him.
The air crackled with energy as Serafall Leviathan took a step forward, her usual playful demeanor replaced with deadly intent.
"Sirzechs-chan~ Can I kill this despicable man?"
Her icy aura flared, chilling the very air in the room.
"It's been so long since I had a proper workout."
A malicious smile crept onto her lips.
Satria or Black Flash, however, looked completely unfazed.
Instead, he laughed.
"Go ahead." He spread his arms wide, taunting her.
"But don't regret your decision."
His fingers tapped rhythmically against the chair's armrest.
"Four... Three... Two..."
"Onii-chan!"
Rias turned to her brother, pleading for him to do something.
Sirzechs sighed, rubbing his temples.
"...Alright." His crimson gaze settled on Satria.
"We'll comply with your request. Grayfia!"
Without a word, Grayfia vanished in a flash of light.
Moments later, she returned, carrying a treasure chest overflowing with gold, relic, and magic item from Underworld.
Before anyone could react—
Satria effortlessly kicked Issei across the room like an annoying bug.
The poor boy crashed into the far wall, groaning in pain.
"Issei!"
Rias' peerage rushed to his side, worry written across their faces.
Issei gritted his teeth.
"Damn it... Why am I so weak?"
Satria popped open the treasure chest, his eyes gleaming as gold, relic of underworld, and magic item spilled into his hands, cascading down like liquid sunlight.
Nestled within the pile was a box of Evil Pieces—the prized tools of the Devils.
With casual curiosity, he plucked a gold coins between his fingers and rubbed it against his skin, feeling its texture.
Then, he lifted it to his lips.
"Mmm~ Real gold," he hummed in satisfaction. His voice was smooth, teasing, as if he had all the time in the world.
His fingers traced over the Evil Pieces, turning them over thoughtfully.
"So… these are the infamous Evil Pieces, huh?"
He smirked, rolling a Bishop piece between his fingers.
"I wonder… what should I do with these?" Then, suddenly—He spun around, throwing his arms wide, his voice booming with excitement. "Who here wants to be my NAKAMA?!"
Silence.
Nothing but the crackle of residual crimson sparks in the air.
The entire room glared at him with pure, unfiltered hatred.
Satria pouted dramatically.
"No one? HOW DISAPPOINTING!"
He scoffed, shaking his head.
"You all just missed your one and only chance to join the crew of the future King of Pirates!"
His mock disappointment barely lasted a second before he burst into laughter.
"BAHAHAHAHAHA!"
His crimson sparks flickered across the room as he moved—
And just like that, he was gone.
A second later, he was back—
With Koneko in tow.
"Koneko!"
"Koneko-chan! You're okay!"
Her friends gasped in relief.
But Koneko's golden eyes were locked onto Satria or Black Flash.
She glared.
Hard.
Satria, ever the brave warrior, wisely chose to look away.
He grinned and tossed her like a sack of potatoes.
"Here's your friend! Catch!"
Koneko landed gracefully in Rias' arms, her eye twitching.
'Is this how you treat your wife, Senpai?'
Her fingers flexed, imagining wringing his neck.
'Hehe… Just wait till we get home. We're going to have a loooong talk.'
Issei stomped forward.
"Did that pervert do anything to you? Are you okay?!"
Koneko hesitated.
Then, she exhaled.
"I'm fine." Her voice was calm, controlled.
"Thanks... to her."
"Her?"
Rias' eyes narrowed in curiosity.
"Who are you talking about?"
Issei's eyes widened as realization hit.
"Wait... Is it your big sister, Koneko-chan?"
Koneko froze.
She acted surprised.
"H-How do you know?"
Issei chuckled.
"Hehe~ Shin-san told me." He rubbed the back of his head, flashing his usual goofy grin. "He said your big sister was protecting you."
His smile softened.
"I don't know what problems you two have... But if you ever want to reconcile, I'll support you."
His words were pure.
Koneko's lips parted slightly.
Then, she chuckled softly.
She finally understood.
For all his flaws... Issei-senpai really was a good person.
Even if he was a pervert.
"Thank you, Issei-senpai."
Rias narrowed her eyes, her mind racing.
"Is this perhaps… Kuroka? The SS-ranked criminal?"
She frowned.
"Why would she protect Koneko? She abandoned her before..."
Before anyone could process her words, Satria clapped his hands dramatically, grinning.
"Ahh, how beautiful!" He sighed theatrically.
"F.R.I.E.N.D.~"
His voice took on a mocking lilt as he counted on his fingers.
"Fight for you. Respect you. Include you. Encourage you. Need you. Deserve you. Stand by you."
He flashed a wide smirk.
"I want one too~ Does anyone want to be my friend?"
His eyes scanned the room before landing on one person.
"Maybe… You? Kazuma, the Leader of Shadow Garden."
The room tensed.
Once again, everyone's attention snapped to the mysterious figure cloaked in shadow—Lord Kazuma.
Kazuma exhaled, his voice calm but edged with cold detachment.
"It's... It's been a while, Black Flash."
His eyes darkened.
"You haven't changed at all."
For the first time, Satria's usual cocky demeanor faltered.
His clone's eyes burned with raw, unfiltered hatred as they locked onto the original.
"Hmph…" Black Flash tilted his head, then his gaze flicked to the figure beside Kazuma.
A slow, cruel smile curled on his lips.
"And this brat… I remember you."
His tone dripped with mockery.
"The disciple of Absolute Shadow."
The room seemed to darken as his words twisted the air.
"Would you like to say hi to your little sister? Oh…"
He paused, placing a mocking hand over his mouth.
"Oops! My mistake."
His voice dropped, venom laced in every syllable.
"She's been whisked away to a desolate corner of time… where she will never be found."
His smirk widened.
"Where no one remembers her… except for you. Forever."
Then, he laughed.
A deep, wicked laugh that sent a chill through the room.
"You…"
The disciple's hands trembled, his breath heavy with rage.
"I... I will never forgive you!"
He clenched his fists, his magic flaring wildly.
"Of all people... YOU!"
His voice cracked with raw fury.
"You fucking bastard!"
The room fell silent.
Everyone stared in shock.
For the first time, the laid-back, arrogant Satria had lost his composure.
The hatred in his expression was real.
Even Azazel, who prided himself on reading people, felt a shiver crawl down his spine.
"Who would've thought…?" Azazel muttered, rubbing his chin.
His usual smirk faded.
"A guy dressed like a weirdo is more evil than actual devils."
His golden eyes gleamed.
"This Black Flash… is trouble."
Serafall's hands shook.
"Is that true, Shin-kun?"
Her voice wavered.
"You… Unforgivable!!!"
Losing Sona was something she couldn't even begin to imagine.
Her magic flared, filling the air with a deadly chill.
Katarea, however, merely smiled.
A wicked, hungry smile.
"Ahh… delightful."
Her eyes glowed with dark amusement.
"You are a terrifying man, Black Flash."
She licked her lips.
"Let's give them unforgettable pain."
She glanced at Satria's clone with interest.
"Perhaps when this war is over… you should join my peerage."
The clone's aura exploded, filling the room with an unbearable heat.
His Sunshine Magic flared—turning his figure into a blinding sun.
"Today… in this place…"
He raised a hand to the heavens.
"Will be your funeral, Black Flash."
His eyes locked onto the original.
"Omae wa mou shindeiru!"
Satria's lips curled.
"Very well."
A black sword manifested in his hand, crackling with unimaginable power.
The very air around him distorted under its presence.
His voice dropped to a whisper—filled with dark promise.
"Join the Chaos Brigade as my minion..."
His smirk deepened.
"Together, we will conquer this very world."
To be continued...
