When a God of Destruction Was Reincarnated in Tensura:

Chapter 137: Walpurgis

The day of the Walpurgis had finally arrived, and the atmosphere in the grand hall was heavy with anticipation. The Demon Lords, already seated, exchanged quiet conversations and speculations about the purpose of this gathering. Guy Crimson, Luminous, Draguel, Ramiris, Milim, and Leon Cromwell were present, each an imposing figure in their own right. But the one they were all waiting for was Rimuru.

After a while, the doors to the hall opened, and Rimuru entered. A wave of shock rippled through the room. His appearance had changed drastically; not only had his form become more imposing and his stature taller, but the aura radiating from him was almost overwhelming. It was clear to all that Rimuru had surpassed his previous limits in ways they couldn't quite comprehend.

Guy Crimson, ever the observant one, was the first to break the stunned silence, a smirk playing on his lips. "Well, well, Rimuru. I must say, you've certainly undergone a rather impressive transformation."

Milim, ever the energetic one, was the next to speak, her eyes wide with excitement. "Wow! You've gotten way stronger! This is awesome!" She jumped out of her seat, unable to contain her enthusiasm.

The other Demon Lords nodded in agreement, though their reactions were more measured. Leon Cromwell leaned forward, eyeing Rimuru with a mixture of curiosity and caution. Ramiris, always the cheerful one, gave a light-hearted chuckle but was clearly impressed.

Rimuru simply nodded in acknowledgment and took his seat, the room quieting once again. Guy Crimson, now sitting back with his arms crossed, gave a knowing look and said, "Rimuru, you've certainly come a long way. But I'm sure you have something important to say."

With that, Rimuru's expression grew serious. He knew that this meeting was crucial. The time for pleasantries had passed. He looked around at the gathered Demon Lords and spoke clearly, his voice carrying the weight of the information he was about to deliver.

"There's something I need to tell all of you," Rimuru began. "A threat is coming, one far beyond anything we've faced before. Beerus, the God of Destruction, came to me and warned me of a being named Artemis Valtheron, someone who is sealed away by Veldanava himself."

The room was silent as the Demon Lords absorbed the name. Milim, ever eager for information, raised her hand. "Artemis Valtheron? Who is he? And what's this about Veldanava?"

Rimuru continued, his tone grim. "Artemis and Veldanava were born around the same time, like brothers, but they were very different. Veldanava believed in creation, while Artemis followed the path of perfectiom through destruction and rebirth. They were two sides of the same coin. Eventually, Veldanava could no longer tolerate Artemis's constant cycle of destruction and decided to seal him away. But with Veldanava's death, the seal holding Artemis has begun to weaken. Soon, Artemis will break free, and when he does, he will attack the Cardinal World."

A murmur ran through the room as the Demon Lords exchanged glances, the gravity of Rimuru's words sinking in. Leon Cromwell narrowed his eyes, speaking up. "If this Artemis is so powerful, why don't you just have Beerus deal with him? Is Artemis stronger than Beerus?"

Rimuru shook his head. "No, Beerus is stronger than Artemis, put it like this from what Beerus told me and showed me there is no being stronger than him in the multiverse. But Beerus told me that he doesn't want to fight our battles for us. If he were to deal with every problem that comes our way, how would we ever learn? How would we progress? He also said that, to him, it's a form of entertainment. We need to face this challenge ourselves, this is our world and we are its guardians and plus him warning us is already a big help."

Ramiris, who had developed a sort of friendly rapport with Beerus, shook her head, her expression showing both affection and exasperation. "That guy… He's not called the God of Destruction for nothing, is he? I knew he wouldn't do it for us." Her tone was light, but there was a hint of fondness in her voice as she recalled Beerus' behavior.

Milim, ever the fiery spirit, also chimed in with a smile. "My father is right! We can't expect others to fight our battles for us! We need to stand strong and fight for ourselves!"

Rimuru nodded, his gaze sweeping over the room, ensuring that each Demon Lord understood the gravity of the situation. "Exactly. And that's why we need to get stronger, and fast. Not just for ourselves, but for all of our territories and the world."

The tension in the room was palpable as the Demon Lords considered Rimuru's words. Guy Crimson leaned back in his seat, his eyes gleaming with intrigue. "I see. We have to prepare. But if Beerus won't intervene, then it seems we'll have to do it ourselves. Very well, Rimuru. We will all get stronger, in our own ways."

Rimuru smiled, relieved that the Demon Lords were on board. "I'll also be informing the leaders of the other countries. We need to unite, and we need to train harder than ever before."

Guy Crimson then nodded, his gaze shifting to a distant corner of the room. "I'll inform Rudra, the Emperor of the Eastern Empire. He'll need to know, he can help, he is strong too after all."

With that, the tone of the meeting shifted. No longer was it a gathering of Demon Lords simply discussing their power. Now, it was a call to arms. Artemis Valtheron was coming, and the world was at stake. Rimuru, with the support of the Demon Lords and the leaders of other countries, would lead the charge. But to do so, they would need to train harder than ever before and unlock their true potential.

The Walpurgis meeting had started as a gathering of powerful beings, but it had quickly turned into a strategy session for survival. And Rimuru, with the strength he had earned and the leadership he had gained, was ready to lead the way.
