Would You Like To Hear Me Out?

Chapter 1: | The Mandela Catalogue | Chapter 1 - The Descent

The streetlights hummed a monotonous tune, casting long, dancing shadows that stretched and contorted with the rhythm of Jay's whistling. He'd just finished his shift at the diner, the smell of grease and burnt coffee a familiar comfort clinging to his clothes.

But tonight, something was different. A prickling sensation danced across his skin, raising the hairs on the back of his neck. He couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. He paused, inhaling deeply. A strange, musky scent, like damp earth and something… primal, tickled his nostrils. He frowned, trying to place it.

His footsteps echoed on the deserted sidewalk, a steady beat accompanying his cheerful melody, now tinged with a hint of unease. He was looking forward to a hot shower and collapsing into bed with a good book, but the unsettling feeling lingered. He rounded a corner, the silhouette of his apartment building just visible in the distance. Almost there.

Suddenly, a blur of motion erupted from the alleyway ahead. Jay's heart leaped into his throat. He saw a flicker of movement in the shadows, a glint of something… metallic? Before he could react, something hard and blunt slammed into the back of his head.

A searing pain exploded behind his eyes, the force of the blow sending his head snapping forward. He tasted blood, a metallic tang filling his mouth. He stumbled, his legs giving way beneath him. He felt himself falling, the rough concrete rushing up to meet him. Then, darkness.

He awoke to the distinct smell of damp earth and that… other scent. Musky and primal, it tickled his nostrils and made the hairs on the back of his neck stand on end. His head throbbed, a dull ache that resonated with every heartbeat. He managed a groan, his throat dry and scratchy.

"Ugh… what…?" he mumbled, his voice barely a whisper.

He finally managed to pry his eyes open, blinking against the dim light that filtered through the cavern. He was lying on a cold, damp floor, the air thick with an oppressive silence broken only by the occasional drip of water. He pushed himself up onto his elbows, wincing at the sharp pain that shot through his head. He looked around, trying to get his bearings.

He was in a large cavern, the walls rough and uneven, glistening with moisture. Strange, bioluminescent fungi clung to the rock face, casting an eerie, otherworldly glow. The air was heavy, thick with the musky scent, and a low, almost imperceptible hum vibrated through the ground. He had no idea how he'd gotten here. The last thing he remembered was walking home…

"Where… where am I?" he whispered, his voice trembling slightly. He tried to stand, but his legs felt weak and shaky. He stumbled, catching himself on a nearby rock. "What the hell…?"

As his eyes adjusted to the dim light, he saw it. Standing in the shadows at the far end of the cavern, it was… something. Something that defied description. At first, he thought it was a trick of the light, a figment of his concussion-addled mind. But as it moved, as it shifted and solidified in the dim light, he realized with a jolt of terror that it was real.

It was… female. That much he could discern. But beyond that, its form was alien, grotesque, and yet… strangely compelling. Its skin shimmered, iridescent, like polished obsidian. Some parts looked smooth and glistening, others rough and scaled, hinting at a complex and perhaps even pleasurable texture.

Its limbs were long and spidly, ending in sharp, clawed hands. Its head was elongated, with large, black eyes that seemed to absorb the light, giving them an unsettling depth. And its mouth… its mouth was a gaping maw filled with rows upon rows of needle-sharp teeth that gleamed like polished pearls in the dim light, hinting at the pleasure and pain they could inflict.

"Oh my god…" Jay breathed, his heart hammering against his ribs. Fear, raw and primal, gripped him, but beneath it, a flicker of something else stirred in his gut. He scrambled back, his breath catching in his throat. He wanted to scream, but no sound came out. He could only stare, transfixed by the creature's horrifying yet strangely beautiful presence. "What… what is that thing?"

The creature took a step forward, and Jay flinched, bracing for an attack. He squeezed his eyes shut, waiting for the inevitable. He imagined its claws tearing into his flesh, its teeth sinking into his neck.

But the attack never came. Instead, he heard a sound. A low, guttural growl that resonated through the cavern, vibrating in his chest. He opened his eyes cautiously and saw that the creature was closer now, its grotesque features even more pronounced in the dim light. He could see the individual scales on its skin, the sharp points of its claws.

He could smell its musky scent, now even stronger, making his stomach churn and his head swim.

"Are you… are you going to eat me?" Jay asked, his voice barely above a whisper. He couldn't help the image that flashed through his mind: the creature's gaping maw, its sharp teeth tearing into his flesh "Please… no…"

The creature tilted its head slightly, as if considering his question. Then, it reached out, its clawed hand touching him. Its touch was surprisingly gentle, almost delicate. It traced the line of his jaw, its claw brushing against his skin. Jay shivered, not from cold, but from a deep, primal fear mixed with a strange, burgeoning excitement. "Don't… don't touch me," he stammered, pulling away instinctively.

The creature's eyes flickered down to his… lower regions. A flush of heat rose to Jay's cheeks despite the terror he felt. He suddenly understood what the creature meant, and his fear intensified tenfold, but it was now laced with a potent dose of anticipation. He glanced down at his own body. His jeans suddenly felt very inadequate.

He was average down there, nothing special, but definitely functional. He'd never considered himself particularly well-endowed, but he wasn't lacking either. "You… you want me to…?" he stammered, unable to finish the sentence. His heart pounded in his chest, a frantic rhythm against the sudden heat that bloomed in his groin despite his fear.

The creature nodded, its gaze still fixed on him. It reached out again, its claws now deftly unbuttoning his pants. Jay froze, his mind reeling. He couldn't believe this was happening. He was being undressed by a… a monster. "No… stop!" he protested weakly, but his body seemed frozen in place, a strange sense of inevitability washing over him.

The creature's claws quickly dispensed with his remaining clothing, leaving him completely exposed. Jay stood there, naked and trembling, his heart pounding in his chest. He felt a mixture of fear, confusion, and… something else. Something he couldn't quite name. He was completely vulnerable, his average-sized dick now fully on display. It wasn't erect, not with the terror he was feeling, but it was there, exposed and waiting.

The creature leaned closer, its face inches from his. Its breath, hot and musky, ghosted across his skin, sending a shiver down his spine. Its gaping maw opened, revealing rows of needle-sharp teeth that gleamed like polished pearls in the dim light. Jay braced himself, waiting for the pain. "Please… no…" he whimpered.

But instead of pain, he felt… pressure. The creature's mouth enveloped him, a tight, surprisingly warm embrace. He gasped, his fear momentarily forgotten as a wave of unexpected pleasure washed over him. The rough texture of its tongue, surprisingly delicate, danced against him, sending jolts of electricity through his body.

He gripped the creature's… what? Fur? Scales? He couldn't tell, his mind reeling. He only knew that the sensation was intoxicating. A low groan rumbled in his throat, a sound he barely recognized as his own. What is happening to me? he thought, his mind struggling to reconcile the terror with the burgeoning pleasure. The creature's grip tightened, the sucking motion intensifying, and Jay's hips began to move involuntarily.
