"I've already instructed Konan that if I die, she is to inherit these eyes and continue Akatsuki's mission, fulfilling Yahiko's dream of bringing peace to the ninja world."

At this, Nagato's usually cold expression softened into a rare smile.

"But it seems you weren't lying."

Night Star returned the smile and then said softly,

"I heard that Akatsuki takes on contracts, right?"

Hearing this, Kakuzu, the finance officer, immediately stepped forward.

"We do take contracts, but our prices are steep."

"I understand."

Night Star pulled out a scroll, formed a hand seal, and a burlap sack appeared on the ground.

"See if this is enough."
