Chapter 6: The Wild Goose Chase

Taro and Kuroba walked through the winding streets of the city, their eyes scanning the crowds for any sign of Akane. They had been walking for hours, and Taro was starting to feel a sense of unease. He knew that Akane was out there, watching them, waiting for them to make a mistake.

As they turned a corner, Kuroba suddenly grabbed Taro's arm and pulled him into a narrow alleyway. "Quick, Taro, we have to get out of here," she whispered.
