Academy’s LOL Robot Summoner

Chapter 216

“Ha, Captain! They’re approaching!”

“Hell…!”

Frowning while wracking his brain for a way out of this situation, the alien captain.

Superiority complex and elitism have led his mind to the optimal answer.

“Hmph, isn’t there a way for that!”

“Oh, Captain, have you come up with a good plan?”

In this situation, the first officer still flatters and extols the captain.

To which the captain responds with a self-assured tone.

“Hmph! Send the supply fleet to the front!”

“Huh? The supply fleet?”

“Yes, if we’re defeated anyway, the supply fleet won’t be safe either, right? Wouldn’t it be better to use it more effectively?”

A distorted sense of noblesse oblige based on absurd reasoning.

An ordinary soldier would have dismissed this as nonsense, but unfortunately, the first officer of this vessel shared the same mindset as the captain.

“Indeed. What a brilliant strategy, Captain! Using the incompetent as bait to retreat the fleet!”

“Exactly, as expected, you understand me well.”

“Thank you for the compliment.”

The first officer bows deeply.

Meanwhile, as the fleet led by Edu approaches, the captain raises his voice again.

“There’s no time! Make it happen immediately!”

“Yes! Captain’s orders are heard, right? Send the supply fleet forward with some pretext!!”

“…”

The alien soldiers hesitate to act, unwilling to follow the preposterous order to effectively abandon their own side.

“What are you doing? Can’t you hear the Captain’s orders!?”

It is only after the first officer urges them again that the communication soldier slowly conveys the orders.

“…The flagship to the fleet. The flagship to the fleet-”

The friends of Bogeoni seem to have handled the imperial fleet well, as it does not retaliate.

‘This is why having an ally become an enemy is the most dangerous.’

With that thought, the imperial fleet, whose armaments have been rendered unusable, approaches.

“Hmm, hmm~”

An involuntary whistling tune born from a situation akin to eating rice cakes while lying down.

At that moment, a sudden movement is noticed from the imperial fleet.

“Hmm?”

It seems like they’re breaking formation, and supply ships that were previously protected at the center of the fleet are advancing towards us.

Incomprehensible behavior causes involuntary tilting of the head.

“Bogeoni, what are they doing?”

“Hmm, I heard from Sail and the others during maintenance that these ships have great power…”

Bogeoni, lost in thought.

Then, as if realizing something, Bogeoni exclaims and tells me.

“That’s it! They’re using them as shields!”

“Heh, no way.”

Even if they have a thoroughly rotten mindset, having such a number of supply ships would mean this fleet is a supply convoy.

Still, delivering the ships they’re meant to protect to the enemy instead of protecting them in a dire situation –

“Edu, there’s communication from the supply ship.”

“From the supply ship? Can you connect it?”

“Yeah.”

The image of an alien appears on the bridge screen.

He’s sweating profusely and visibly trembling, apparently extremely tense, and then looks startled as he gazes at us.

“Uh, um… Are you there… Is, is this connected properly?”

“Yes, it is connected, Captain.”

“R-, really? C-, can you hear me?”

“Yeah, I can hear you. What is it?”

The timid alien, who initiated the conversation, flinches upon hearing my reply.

The fish-like alien glances around nervously as he stammers out his response.

“Uh-Uh… There is something I would like to say…”

“Okay, tell me.”

Being careful not to pressure the other side.

In general, a person of such timid nature can result in reverse effects if hurried, so I continue the conversation patiently even if the response is delayed.

“Um-Um. Our convoy is unconditionally surrendering, so we would like you to refrain from attacking. We understand that the supplies might need to be disposed of, but anyway, we don’t have the troops capable of using weapons. Please…”

“Huh? What do you mean?”

Why should I dispose of your supplies?

Carrying such intent in my reply, the convoy captain tilts his head in confusion at this unexpected reply.

“Eh, yeah? Our flagship said that you were going to dispose of the supplies, so they asked the supply ships to move forward. Is that not correct?”

“No, we didn’t.”

“Eh, eh?!”

Awkward dialogue.

“Would you like to calm down and explain slowly?”

“Ah, yes.”

The convoy captain begins to explain what happened, and a smile forms on my face as I hear the entire story.

“Hmph, look at these guys.”

“Boldly trying to pull cards under our noses.”

“Understood. As long as you don’t resist, we won’t attack your ship so please don’t worry.”

“R-, really? Thank goodness…”

The convoy captain sighs in relief.

“Then I have something to do, so shall we continue the conversation later?”

“Yes, yes! Understood.”

I turn my head to glance at the corner of the screen.

The imperial fleet, carefully observing and quietly withdrawing.

“Sita? Let’s move forward at full speed. We need to teach these lying aliens a lesson.”

“Yes, sister. Maximum ship output! Moving forward at full speed!”

“Understood, First Officer. Moving forward at full speed.”

A moment later, the bridge of the golden flagship.

The lavish interior decoration is visibly marred by soot and bullet marks, and the acrid smell of gunpowder lingers.

“Nonsense!”

The alien captain, filled with despair, shouts.

A fallen soldier sprints toward him with an energetic shout and jumps, delivering a dropkick to his back.

“Get outta the way, man!”

“Urgh?!”

The alien captain is pushed out of the command chair.

Meanwhile, a few fallen soldiers rush ahead and, taking handkerchiefs from their pockets, vigorously clean the chair.

With relentless energy, they clean the chair until the paint starts peeling, then instantly set up a soft cushion and a small doll.

After the preparations are complete, the soldiers step aside and the squad leader, slightly bowing, points to the now freshly prepared captain’s chair.

“Lieutenant, please sit!”

“…Thank you.”

“Don’t mention it! It’s an honor to serve you!”

Though usually, it would feel off-putting, being carried like a human sedan chair by four soldiers now feels better.

Hmph, it’s comfy, isn’t it?

“You bastards! Move already!?”

“Because of your slowness, Lieutenant’s time has already been wasted by 10 seconds! Do you even realize this horrific loss!? How do you plan to compensate for it!!”

Inside the bridge, fallen soldiers unleash terrifying vigor towards the alien.

“Y-Yes!”

“We’re, we’re moving!”

The aliens hastily gather in front of me, kneeling and looking up at me seated in the command chair.

Ahem, clearing my throat before starting.

“So, Captain? Why did you lie? And immediately launched an attack using ground troops after boarding the ship… You should know that we could just sweep away the whole fleet without any arguments, right?”

“…”

At my words, the alien captain rolls his eyes while stalling for time, resembling a fish.

Then out of nowhere, the fallen soldiers rush forward and surround the alien captain.

“What’s this, son? Can’t you hear the Lieutenant speaking!? Arrgh!? Do you need someone to translate it in fish language for you!? Bliblub! You punk!!”

“Fat bastard! Is it common knowledge not to reply to the Lieutenant within 0.1 seconds!? Argh!? I’ll make jerky out of you!! Hey! Bring salt and sugar quickly!!”

For some reason, the soldiers curl their faces and stick out their tongues like snakes while aggressively pressing the alien captain.

“Uh, eh…”

Terrified by the terrifying faces and dreadful aura from all sides, the alien captain starts sweating cold beads of perspiration.

“Excuse me?”

“I’m sorry! I couldn’t just let the fleet be lost, so… I thought I would find a way out…”

The alien captain humbly bows deeply and behaves in a highly cooperative manner.

The fallen soldiers are truly effective.

“Alright, I agree that you tried to handle the situation, but an apology is necessary when you’re wrong, right?”

“Really sorry! Truly-”

“Phew, just saying sorry won’t do. This is not a situation where things can be easily smoothed over, right?”

“What, what do you want?”

Finally, the alien captain reveals the desired reply.

Smiling and extending my hand towards him.

“Tell me everything you know, all of it. You must know plenty as a fleet captain, right?”

With the help of Bogeoni and his friends, I understood much about the internal conditions of the Ustansha, but independently, there must be information shared solely among high-ranking commanders.

“T-, that’s-”

“Within 0.1 seconds!!”

“Alright, I’ll tell you everything!!”

Forced by the pressure from the fallen soldiers, the alien captain reveals all the information.

It was indeed as I expected that they’re fiercely battling the Invaders and the frontlines are gradually becoming entrenched, but there was one useful piece of information.

“To counter the Invaders’ raids, you’re deploying large fleets within the supply fleets?”

“Yes. The admirals were very wary of the unpredictable black enemy, the black demon.”

“Hmph.”

That unpredictable black enemy is me.

Anyway, if this information is well utilized, it might allow us to deliver a significant blow to the Ustansha or the Invaders…

While I’m pondering this, a voice comes from behind.

“Lieutenant.”

“Ah, Kiron, are you feeling better about the seasickness?”

“Yes, I’m embarrassed about my previous display.”

“I’m sorry!”

The fallen soldiers shout in a high voice after Kiron.

Kiron.

Once a fallen commander of Iron Legion who now follows me along with the retrained fallen soldiers.

“Change of environment isn’t easy, right? Don’t worry too much, everyone.”

“Sniff, Lieutenant shows such warmth to someone like us…”

“Lieutenant! Lieutenant! Lieutenant!”

“Ah, they’re starting to worship…”

The fallen soldiers are expressing intense reactions.

It feels like a pseudo-religious rally will break out on the enemy ship, so I quickly issue orders.

“Then, can you take care of these aliens for me?”

“Understood. Shall we transfer them to the Argonaut and secure them?”

“Yes, please do that.”

“Understood!”

A smart salute while only moving his eyes to issue orders, Kiron.

The fallen soldiers move hurriedly, dragging the aliens away. In the end, only one soldier left to carry me and myself remain on the bridge.

“Sita, can you hear me?”

“Yes, sister. What is it?”

“The situation here is mostly settled, so leave the aftermath to you. I’m going to do what I mentioned earlier.”

“Yes, sister. Please be careful and come back safely.”

“Yes.”

Assisted by the soldier, I head to the arsenal.

I shout loudly into the air.

“Summon Armor, Almas!”

Energy draining from my body.

Almas, the high-mobility armor known for its large wings and backpack, appears.

Summoning one Marionette and boarding the cockpit together, we depart from the alien flagship to a place where we’re out of sight.

Then, I call forth my weapon, named the Black Demon by the aliens.

“Summon Armor, Galatine!”

Standing tall at 14 meters with a slender form and large wings covering its body, the black giant emerges.

After canceling the summon of Almas and transferring to Galatine, I check the location of the pre-verified imperial bases and Forward Bases.

“Alright, let’s go!”

Following my command, the black giant slowly blends into the surroundings.

Then its form completely vanishes, leaving only a faint noise from the propulsion system echoing around.

“Pacific here.”

“There’s always plenty to do at the rear, so it’s a good thing, isn’t it?”

“Yeah, that’s true.”

Empire’s ground soldiers, idly chatting while sitting next to the piles of supplies.

Just then, a shadow passes over their heads.

“Huh?”

The soldiers look up to the sky.

The two soldiers widen their eyes.

The giant robot in the form of an indigenous organism with black wings gazing down at them.

“T-, that!”

“That, it’s the Black Demon!!”

“Emergency! Emergency!!”

The soldiers’ voices scattered.

The alarm wailing through the base as the giant’s hand points skyward and beams of light stretch across the ground.

A legion of Invaders swarms the land.

The steel army advances, with their blue sensors glowing, while Edu, watching in the cockpit, extends her hand.

“Alright, sweep them all away!”

“Attack commenced.”
