After The Apocalypse, I Was Transmigrated Into a Cultivation World

Stranded, Mu Shen did not know what to do. Should he simply just leave like the others had done? 

Should he just randomly search— maybe his destination would find him by fate?

However, Mu Shen knew not to try depending on fate. There's a backlash for every usage of fate. 

Just as he was contemplating, space suddenly rippled and stretched out. Mu Shen's expression changed drastically; however, he did not move.

The sky suddenly opened and he heard a voice.

"Find these three locations; the chasm, the forest and the gorge. In these locations, you'd find three golden eggs and in totality, nine. These eggs are scattered and you have to gather all nine within a span of one week. And to locate these places, you'll need a guide. There's a map somewhere in the depth of the Stormsea, find it. I'm sorry that your message is coming late." 

Mu Shen's expression was dark. 

Who knows how many hours have passed already, but it doesn't matter. Although one week isn't a lot of time, still it was enough to rake through a particular zone searching for these locations.

Behind his hands, his time has already started to tick away in seconds. Approximately, there were 241,920 seconds in one week so this particular number appeared and started to count backwards. 

For now— there is still enough time. 

Mu Shen moved out of the shed and a whole new world welcomed his view. The subterranean was massive, a jagged display of nature and science. 

Mu Shen's eyes scanned the place and he thought of something— 

What if someone else had been given the exact same location as him? 

Chills immediately ran up his spine.

It simply means that he needed to be very fast and that any delays could cause something drastic to happen. 

Mu Shen took a deep breath. Alright, he needed to find the map first. 

The Stormsea, it shouldn't be that dangerous. 

He immediately moved at a blinding speed but when he tried to tear through the void, he suddenly realized that the void was suddenly sturdy enough that it did not tear open. 

"Is this some sort of Illusion put together to crumble our dreams?" Mu Shen felt a crippling headache. 

"Since I can't tear through the void, then my speed has been reduced considerably." 

He did not try to tear the void as he continued moving with the aim to reach the Stormsea. 

And eventually he arrived. 

At that moment, Mu Shen's expression changed drastically again.

This place actually gave him an indescribable feeling of danger. His scalp turned numb and his spine ran up with terrifying chills. 

The Stormsea? 

Is this where they simply placed a map? For us to get killed? 

It was just the entrance but he already felt dread. 

A split second later, two figures rushed out of the Stormsea, their face very pale as a white sheet. 

They nearly bumped into Mu Shen and shivered seeing the wry expression on his face. 

"Did you find the map?" 

The two figures exchanged glances and they hugged their cosmic rings tightly. 

Mu Shen smiled darkly. "I thought as much. So instead of simply walking into this chilling arena, I'd rather plunder the map. Give me the map!" 

Mu Shen's demanding voice turned cold and icy. 

The two boys flinched but it didn't matter. The first person brought out something from his cosmic ring and turned to flee in a particular direction however Mu Shen let him flee and the next moment, the sky twisted and turned a bright red. 

The bleeding sky. 

Initially, the Bleeding sky was supposed to encompass the entire space around it but strangely, it was restricted that the guy simply spat out blood and changed directions again. 

Mu Shen's face darkened and the next minute, he realized. 

They were not at the entrance of Stormsea rather, they were in the heart of Stormsea. 

Mu Shen's face paled. 

The boy that had been running stopped and he stood with the other and glared at Mu Shen coldly. 

"You wanted to steal right? Well jokes on you, we're in the heart of Stormsea — the place which is considered the most dangerous of them all." 

Chills crawled down Mu Shen's spine and in anger he exploded with all of his strength as a Melder and then punched at the boys.

Ripples suddenly appeared in the air alongside the sound of a deafening thunderclap that caused space to shake. 

They couldn't avoid this punch and their both bodies shattered leaving blood and guts to fill the air. 

Mu Shen hurriedly picked up the cosmic rings and a drop of their blood. He opened the ring and extracted a map and other resources. 

The two of them had a map, but it was useless to have two so Mu Shen took one and abandoned the other while taking all of the resources, including the 200 plus star crystals they both had. 

He finished, his body shaking and chills crawling up his spine. He decided to leave but his face suddenly paled. 

A massive hammer broke out of the ground and struck the firmament and the sky caved in. And then, that same hammer descended, causing the fabric of space to tear and deform.

Mu Shen twisted his body in an unnatural angle, trying to dodge the blow but his body was blasted backwards by an unfathomable force causing his bones to pop in endless succession.
