"Do you see now?" asked Tear-Drop Child after he teleported above the giant tear. "This is the Nascent Soul Realm. A Realm that even you, as a Fate-bearer, will only ever witness once in your life. Your certain death today signifies as much."

Knox smirked as he recalled his platoon of Intent Swords back to him. They spun in perfect synchronization, awaiting his next command. The ground beneath him cracked and splintered under the pressure they breathed. Yet, even then, his Intent Swords were smothered by the stifling presence of that massive teardrop.

He didn't know what it was about the teardrop that made it appear so terrifying, but he knew as if on instinct that his death and the deaths of everything in a hundred-mile radius were guaranteed if that thing dropped.

"The Nascent Soul Realm, huh…" Knox pondered, analyzing the innate aspects of the Realm in question. "You cultivate a Nascent Soul, expand your Innate Energy Sea, and tremendously improve your lifespan. That's the gist of the Nascent Soul Realm, no? But all of that is just a little extra that the Creator of the Cultivation System threw on top, isn't it? The true appeal of the Nascent Soul Realm is the astronomical improvement to destructive power!"

Tear-Drop Child didn't respond.

However, uncaring about his uncaringness, Knox shrugged. "It's fine, I wasn't asking you to answer or anything," he laughed. "After all, what I said was nothing but facts. Though, if the insurmountable difference you speak of merely extends to more destructive power, I'll surpass you in an instant."

Tear-Drop Child remained silent, clearly not taking his words to heart.

"You don't believe me?" Knox asked with a toothy grin. "Fine then, I suppose I'll just have to prove it to you."

*Fwoop, Fwoop, Fwoop!*

Falling all around him were spherical-shaped pills, each one possessing varying amounts of medicinal energies. To begin with, there were only dozens that spawned from his Spatial Ring, but then with the passing of the nanoseconds, that number turned into thousands upon thousands.

With a small hill's worth of valuable pills surrounding him, Knox cracked a fox-like grin. "As one final tribute to the man I'm about to obliterate, I'll inform you of the Body Refinement Realm Technique I cultivated to perfection," he said. "Extreme Madman's Inner Array. And from it, I acquired the Madman's Inner Array Physique."

"!!!!"

For the first time since their encounter, Tear-Drop Child felt alarmed over what he had to say. As a result, he waved his hand downward and let his Main Technique |Ravenous Tear| plummet to the earth like a water-based meteor of destruction.

Knox showed off his pearly whites. "It appears that you know precisely what the Madman's Inner Array Physique is," he said slyly. "You also seem to know of the Physique's fantastical secret feature as well. Here, I'll show it to you right now and do so with the help of all the pill loot I amassed over the past year."

Within an instant, every single multi-colored pill in the pill hill felt a suction force pulling them toward Knox. Unable to resist this force, they streaked right for him, disappearing into the folds of his existence a moment later.

"The Secret Function of the Madman's Inner Array Physique," he said as he felt a tsunami of Innate Energy wash over him. "Is the ludicrous ability to endlessly absorb and rapidly refine any Pills or Natural Treasure Herbs. An act that will not only improve my cultivation but also improve the quality of my Inner Array Energy!"

As the massive teardrop attack shrouded his world in darkness with its imminent approach, Knox experienced absurd increases to his cultivation base. In less time than it took to form a thought, he had advanced from the beginning of the 14th Stage of Qi Condensation to the very peak of the same stage!

A moment later, he was knocking on the door to a Stage that lived on as a myth in the minds of many people.

For most, even the 13th Stage of Qi Condensation was an impossibility unless one's foundations were extremely solid. Yet, Knox not only made history in the Elemental Nations by achieving the 14th Stage of Qi Condensation, he had also begun to see a light at the other end of the tunnel for something more!

"Why don't you break for me?" he asked nicely, deriving amusement from watching Tear-Drop Child's expression take a turn for the worst.

And surprisingly, as if everything was one big joke, the walls of a dam that once seemed like a world exploded!

"See?" Knox said as his crimson purple aura frenzied out of control. "Sometimes, all you have to do is ask nicely, and the impossible can be made possible. Oh, and also, have a bunch of plot armor. I just recently got some of my own, but I know this d*ckhead vendor if you're interested—"

"Give me your Fate, Fate-bearer!!!"

"Jeez, so pushy," Knox said as his wildly vibrant aura fluctuated. "But no matter, your attack is no different from a regular water droplet in the faucet to me."

He calmly raised his hand and pinched.

Under the astonished eyes of Tear-Drop Child, |Ravenous Tear| was expeditiously condensed. Then, with a slight tug, the hyper-condensed droplet zipped toward him before landing peacefully in his hands.

"The 15th Stage of Qi Condensation," Knox said keenly, staring at the tiny, dangerous droplet with intrigue. "It's not as simple as a direct increase in power. I learned this only after breaking through, but as it turns out, you obtain the neat ability to claim ownership over any energy that has left another's body. There is a limit to the ability, and it doesn't work on those with more Innate Energy control than I have, but as I said before… I'm. better. than. you."

Erupting in anger, Tear-Drop Child called upon his enormous Innate Energy Sea. Dozens of |Ravenous Tears| materialized above and around him before ascending to the sky and plummeting down the same as the first one.
