Jack couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. He felt a strange energy coursing through his veins, like the Mew's power was still inside him.

Cynthia noticed his unease. "Jack, what's wrong?"

Jack hesitated. "I feel...connected to the Mew."

Jack nodded, and together they set out for Professor Rowan's laboratory.

As they walked, Jack couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. He looked over his shoulder, but saw nothing.

But the feeling persisted, and Jack began to wonder if he was losing his mind...

Meanwhile, in the shadows, a figure watched Jack and Cynthia with interest.

The figure was none other than Dr. Maria's assistant, a mysterious woman with a hidden agenda.

She smiled to herself as she watched Jack and Cynthia. "The connection is stronger than I thought," she whispered.
