Jack struggled to get to his feet, but the woman's device had left him dazed and disoriented.

Cynthia rushed to his side, helping him up. "Jack, are you okay?"

Jack nodded, still trying to clear his head.

But before they could react, the woman's accomplices burst into the laboratory, grabbing Jack and dragging him away.

Cynthia tried to fight them off, but she was outnumbered.

"Let him go!" she shouted, but they just ignored her.

As Jack was dragged away, he saw Professor Rowan lying on the floor, unconscious.

The woman stood over him, her device still humming with energy.

"You'll never see your precious Professor again," she sneered at Cynthia.

And with that, Jack was dragged out of the laboratory, into the unknown...
