Cynthia's words echoed in Jack's mind as he stared at the photograph. He felt an inexplicable connection to the Pokémon egg.

"What do you think is inside the egg?" Jack asked Cynthia.

Cynthia hesitated. "I'm not sure, but I think it might be connected to your parents' research."

Jack's curiosity was piqued. He had to know more.

"Cynthia, can you help me find out more about my parents and their research?" Jack asked.

Cynthia nodded. "Of course, Jack. Let's start by investigating the location where your parents disappeared."

Together, they set out on a journey to uncover the truth about Jack's parents and the mysterious Pokémon egg.

As they traveled, Jack couldn't shake the feeling that he was being watched. He kept looking over his shoulder, but saw nothing.

Suddenly, Cynthia stopped in her tracks. "Jack, look!" she whispered.

In front of them, a hidden entrance revealed itself. The sign above the entrance read:

"Research Facility - Authorized Personnel Only"

Jack's heart skipped a beat. This must be the place where his parents disappeared.

"What do we do now?" Jack asked Cynthia.

Cynthia smiled. "We investigate."

And with that, they stepped into the unknown...
