Coiling Dragon: Reborn As The Armored Razorback Wyrm

Chapter 29: Chapter 29: New Technique Utilizing Gravitational Space

The Mountain Range of Magical Beasts

Sadius left the Misty Valley, seeking a quiet and secure location to develop his own ultimate technique.

The first technique he wanted to refine was his spike bombardment, a natural ability of the Armored Razorback Wyrm, which allowed him to fire his razor-sharp spines in all directions.

With The Pearl of Life, he could now continuously fire his spines without concern, as his body regenerated them almost instantly.

This technique was already terrifying. Even Saint-level powerhouses would suffer fatal injuries if they were caught off guard.

However, this attack had no connection to any Law, merely an innate ability of his race.

Sadius aimed to push this technique beyond its natural limits, integrating it into a profound mystery to develop a true Divine ability for the future.

Unfortunately, his only slight Insight into any type of Profound Mystery was the Earth Laws Throbbing Pulse of the World, which had no synergy with this attack.

That left him with only two potential paths: Darkness or Destruction.

"The four mysteries of Darkness that I know of from the original story are Essence of Darkness, Shadow Doppelganger, Devour, and Evil. Unfortunately none of those currently align with my technique. Which means I need to explore the Law of Destruction instead for this particular move."

In a desolate canyon, Sadius unleashed volley after volley of razor-sharp spines, embedding them deep into massive boulders and reducing them to rubble.

His body was covered in thirty-six deadly spines, protruding from his back, head, and limbs.

"If I simply fire them in a straight line, I have no control over their flight path."

"If only I had Wind affinity, I could manipulate them like a swordsman controlling flying blades."

Then a realization struck him.

"I can manipulate gravity to alter their trajectory!"

Excited, Sadius launched a volley of spines while simultaneously casting a basic Gravity spell.

The results were immediate. The spines curved mid-air, though their movements were wildly unpredictable.

"Not quite right. But with enough practice, I can master this."

And so, over the next half a month, Sadius relentlessly refined his technique.

His surroundings became littered with countless spines, each impact carving craters into the earth.

Gradually, his control improved. His spines now arced precisely through the air, curving toward his intended targets with deadly accuracy.

He had succeeded.

"I'll call this technique—Precision Strike."

Like guided missiles, his spines could now strike targets with pinpoint accuracy.

Of course, their effectiveness decreased with range, but within a certain radius, his attacks were now unavoidable.

"Unexpectedly, this technique also resonates with Gravitational Space, one of the Earth Element's profound mysteries. I'm not far from grasping it!"

His mastery of Earth laws was advancing rapidly—something he hadn't anticipated before.

As Sadius reflected on his progress, two dark blurs suddenly shot toward him from the sky.

Not only were they approaching at high speed, but they were fighting each other mid-air.

Only when they drew closer did Sadius recognize them.

They were tiny compared to him, making them difficult to see with the naked eye.

"Sadius! I broke through to Saint-level!"

"No, I was first!"

It was Liyah and Nien, both now Saint-level magical beasts, still bickering over who had ascended first.

Sadius chuckled.

"Congratulations, Liyah, Nien. You've both accomplished something extraordinary."

For magical beasts, breaking through the limitations of their species to reach Saint-level was extremely difficult—often harder than for humans.

Many Rank-Nine magical beasts struggled their entire lives, never able to cross the threshold into Saint-level.

Even Saint-level magical beasts faced immense challenges in ascending to Deityhood—especially those without divine bloodlines.

For Liyah and Nien to succeed through their own efforts was nothing short of remarkable.

"It's all thanks to the treasures you gifted us," Liyah admitted. "Without them, we wouldn't have broken through so soon."

Sadius nodded, then smiled.

"Since you've reached Saint-level, why not visit the Forest of Darkness? The three Violet Gold Stone Eater Rat Kings promised to reward you once you broke through."

Liyah's eyes lit up.

"That's right! When we first met them, they casually gave you The Pearl of Life. As their descendants, we should at least receive a lesser divine artifact, right?"

Nien hesitated.

"Liyah, we should stay and help Sadius first. We owe him everything. Let's repay our debt before seeking our rewards."

Liyah pondered this, then nodded.

But Sadius interrupted them.

"No, going to the Forest of Darkness is the greatest help you can give me."

If they traveled to the Forest of Darkness, the three Rat Kings would undoubtedly grant them something invaluable—perhaps even Divine Sparks or artifacts.

When they returned, they would be the strongest allies of the Magical Beast Alliance.

Only after a long discussion did Liyah and Nien finally agree to leave.

"Sadius, we'll be back soon!" Liyah declared. "And when we return, we'll crush the Radiant Church together!"

As they departed, Sadius ended his training session and returned to Misty Valley, where yet another great event had occurred.

The Evil Profound Mystery—Initial Understanding!

The Saint-level Tyrant Dragon, Helasor, had finally comprehended the Evil Profound Mystery of the Law of Darkness.

Helasor had been stuck at the brink of understanding for years, unable to fully grasp it—until today.

"Helasor, congratulations," Sadius praised. "From now on, you've officially entered the ranks of Saint-level powerhouses."

On the Yulan Continent, only Saints who grasped profound mysteries were recognized as true peak experts.

"Master, our scouts have reported troubling news," Helaso continued. "The Radiant Church is mobilizing once again. They are gathering warriors with exceptional physical prowess."

"They're preparing for a counterattack," Sadius surmised.

"Should we launch a Beast Tide and crush Fenlai City before they're ready?" another Saint suggested.

Sadius shook his head.

Previously, he had threatened Heidens with destroying Fenlai City, but that was only a bluff.

The Radiant Church's divine defenses were no joke.

Even in the original timeline, Linley required an entire army of Saint-level warriors to break into the Holy Island.

Even Deity-rank experts like Dylin had to attack multiple times to crack the Church's defenses.

Sadius wasn't foolish enough to blindly attack their stronghold with a handful of Saints.

"Be patient," Sadius ordered. "Our Saint-level warriors are still too few. Everyone must focus on training. If we're not ready when war arrives, we won't even be able to defend ourselves."

His words silenced everyone.

They had seen firsthand the strength of the Radiant Church's Descended Angels.

If Four-Winged or Six-Winged Angels appeared next time, mere Saint-level warriors would not be enough.

They needed time to grow stronger.

And so, under Sadius' orders, the entire Magical Beast Alliance focused on intense training, preparing for the inevitable war to come.
