Chapter 124: Chapter 123: New Familia
She found the location of the bookshelf. It turned out to be filled with miscellaneous, unidentifiable items.
Only a few dust-covered books sat on the topmost shelf.
Among them was an unfamiliar book.
Looking at the magic book in her hand, Alfia read the title: "Modern Magic Even Goblins Can Understand."
If Sol hadn't given it to her personally, Alfia would never have believed this thing was an actual magic book.
With a light kick to the leg of the shelf, all the sundries and books tumbled onto the floor. Alfia subtly mixed the magic book into the pile.
After all, Bell was the only member of this familia. The magic book was for him, and she could only hope the boy had enough sense to recognize its value.
Any adventurer with even a hint of curiosity would pick up a book with a title like that and take a look.
The whimsical title seemed designed precisely for that purpose—a clever trick that Alfia grudgingly acknowledged.
"The rest of the journey is yours to walk," she muttered to herself before stepping out of the church.
Pausing briefly, she glanced back in the direction of the dungeon, her expression impassive.
That was all she could do. Adventurers must forge their own paths.
When you choose a road, you must also bear the consequences of your choices.
From here on, her God Plan would truly begin.
Leaving Orario this time was merely a prelude to that plan.
Alfia still recalled Sol's words to her from the night before, spoken during their deliberate meeting:
"The strength of the Sol familia has grown. With four members at LV6, we no longer need to worry about so much.
Some things can now progress at a slower pace."
He'd added, "If Haruhime and you are included, no one in Orario will be able to match us."
That was, of course, assuming Orario's adventurers would genuinely unite against them.
In the past, when the familia's members were still learning to manage their own affairs, the Sol familia often feared being targeted.
No matter how powerful an individual might be, no one could defend against threats coming from every direction.
When Alfia first joined the Sol Familia, she quickly realized that Sol viewed the entirety of Orario as his hypothetical adversary.
Though he often seemed carefree, his ambition as a god was unmistakable. He possessed not only immense patience but now also the strength to support his lofty goals.
——
Outside Orario, Sol and Riveria made a brief stop in Alf's Royal Forest.
Riveria's watchful presence ensured Sol had no opportunity to act on any impulsive ideas.
Meanwhile, in the forest outside Orario, two angels who had long prepared for this moment appeared before Sol.
"Are you ready to enter Orario?" Sol asked.
"Of course, I can't wait!" Morgana responded eagerly, her enthusiasm bordering on impatience.
Her demeanor left one wondering about her reliability.
"Remember everything I told you," Sol reminded them sternly.
"I will hold your every word close to heart," Kyle said with a respectful bow.
Sol looked at them carefully and nodded.
At times like this, Kyle's steady personality inspired far more confidence than Morgana's restlessness.
"Let's go, then. Time to head to Orario and stir things up~"
---
When they reached Orario's gates, Ganesha, still serving as the gatekeeper, spotted Sol immediately.
"Sol! Back so soon?" he called out, abandoning the long queue of people waiting at the gates to greet him.
"Of course. I couldn't miss your annual monster festival," Sol replied smoothly.
"Haha! My children have prepared extensively this year—you won't be disappointed!" Ganesha laughed heartily.
But his attention soon shifted to the two figures standing behind Sol.
"Are these two the new god friends?" he asked, curiosity evident even through his mask.
Kyle stepped forward and greeted him warmly. "It's been a long time, Ganesha."
Ganesha tilted his head in confusion. Despite Kyle's familiarity, he had no idea who these two were.
Although the other party greeted him warmly, Ganesha honestly couldn't remember meeting someone like this before.
However, the unmistakable aura of divine power told him these two were indeed gods.
Was his memory really declining that badly?
"Ah—long time no see, Kyle. I almost forgot what you looked like," Ganesha said, feigning familiarity.
Fortunately, Sol had mentioned their names earlier when they'd spoken. The serious one was likely the Archangel Kyle.
Ganesha silently praised his quick thinking.
"It's been tens of thousands of years, hasn't it? Or is it hundreds of thousands?" Morgana interjected, her tone dripping with dissatisfaction.
"Are we going in or not? Why is this damn queue so long?" she grumbled.
"Under normal circumstances, you'd have to wait," Ganesha replied. "But as a welcome for newcomers, let me arrange for Ganesha Familia members to escort you in!"
Ganesha decided to abandon the effort of trying to recall who they were. Their divine presence was genuine, and it was best to simply move forward.
With Ganesha's help, the two sisters entered Orario and immediately began their preparations.
The first order of business was to visit the guild to register their familias, followed by purchasing suitable land to establish their residences.
Fortunately, Sol had prepared a "startup fund" for them in advance, leaving only the task of selecting a plot of land they liked.
As the two gods entered the guild with their followers, they attracted a wave of attention.
The primary reason was Morgana's appearance, which could easily be misconstrued. To those unaware, it seemed like the pair had come to cause trouble in the guild.
Several receptionists became visibly tense, and the guild's person in charge was summoned to address the situation.
"Are you both deities?" the person in charge asked hesitantly.
Though it was clear the two were gods, their winged appearances were strikingly unusual.
As someone who had seen countless gods—hundreds, if not thousands—the guild official couldn't help but find their forms peculiar.
Most gods had humanoid appearances. Why did these two look so... unconventional?
"I'm Kyle," Kyle introduced herself. "I'm here to register the Kyle Familia."
"And I'm Morgana," the other said curtly. "Register the Morgana Familia, and hurry up. We still have plenty to do today."
The two spoke almost simultaneously.
The person in charge immediately summoned an adventurer consultant to handle the familia registration process for the two divine beings.
