Chapter 236: C203

Wonder Woman stood at the center of the crater, reaching out to grasp the handle of Thor's Hammer.

All eyes were on her. Countless gazes were fixed on Wonder Woman as she tightly held the handle of Thor's Hammer.

Even the manipulator behind the Destroyer, Loki, couldn't look away, his breath caught in his chest.

Crack!

Everyone seemed to hear a sudden explosion of thunder in their ears.

"This!" Thor's eyes widened in disbelief. As the former owner of Thor's Hammer, he was too familiar with the sound!

At that moment, Thor stared in stunned silence, as though he had foreseen Wonder Woman lifting the hammer.

"How can this be?!" Thor was horrified. He remembered the words his father, the king of the gods, Odin, had said when he stripped Thor of his powers and exiled him from Asgard:

"...Whoever is worthy to wield Thor's Hammer shall have Thor's power."

The thought flashed in his mind.

Boom!

Thunder erupted, and the sky above shifted. Dark clouds gathered, pressing down ominously. Countless bolts of lightning crackled within the clouds, flashing like fish darting through water.

Everyone looked up at the sky, then back down at Wonder Woman.

Zi zi zi zi zi zi zi zi zi zi zi zi!

Lightning surged from Thor's Hammer, enveloping Wonder Woman's hands. The lightning coiled around her like a serpent, but miraculously, it didn't harm her. It was as if the lightning were a pet, born to obey her command.

"Lift it!" Wonder Woman whispered.

Boom!

A flash of lightning struck from the dark cloud, striking Wonder Woman as she finally raised Thor's Hammer.

A beam of light, formed by the lightning, enveloped Wonder Woman.

All eyes were fixed on the center of the crater.

"She really did it!"

"Thor! Female Thor… Sif, is she really Thor's illegitimate daughter?"

"Hell if I know."

Even the Asgard quartet, who were absolutely certain Thor couldn't have an illegitimate daughter, were now questioning Wonder Woman's true identity.

They didn't understand Odin's magic on Thor's Hammer and couldn't explain how Wonder Woman was able to lift it. One by one, they began to doubt everything they knew.

Asgard.

On his throne, Loki watched the scene unfold. He suddenly stood, straightening his posture, his previously gloomy face now filled with surprise.

Thor had returned!

Loki, who had witnessed Odin's magic on Mjolnir, understood the significance of the moment. Unlike the Asgard quartet, he knew exactly what was happening.

The woman lifting Thor's Hammer meant she had completely inherited Thor's power.

With that, the fate of the Destroyer was sealed.

Loki knew that in the battle with this woman, he had already drained much of the Destroyer's energy.

Now, with the Destroyer significantly weakened, it stood no chance against an enemy who had fully inherited Thor's power.

This cannot be called a turnaround, but rather a doomed failure.

"You forced me!" Loki murmured, lifted the control of the Destroyer, put it into a dormant state, waved his hand to deactivate the magic projection in front of him, and walked toward the direction of the Rainbow Bridge.

He definitely left without looking back.

Earth.

After lifting Thor's Hammer, Wonder Woman fully gained Thor's power.

Zi zi zi!

While holding Thor's Hammer, she stretched out her other hand, spreading her five fingers and feeling the slight electric current jumping at her fingertips.

The corners of Wonder Woman's lips curled into a smile as her long hair fluttered without wind. She looked ahead, where the Destroyer had just repaired itself, but the energy fluctuations in its body were no longer as intense as before.

With a powerful slam of Thor's Hammer, the battle escalated.

Boom!

Thor's Hammer struck like lightning, and a huge sonic boom resonated in everyone's ears.

Clang!

The sound of metal colliding filled the air. Under the force of Thor's Hammer, the Destroyer was once again pushed back, half of its body sinking into the ground, looking like a sandbag under relentless attack—miserable and battered.

The next moment, Thor's Hammer flew back to Wonder Woman.

After testing Thor's power, Wonder Woman had a clear understanding of Thor's level.

"Now, it's time to end this!" Wonder Woman's eyes showed fierce determination as she looked at the Destroyer, which was still repairing itself.

Whoosh! She jumped into the air.

Zizi!

Countless electric sparks crackled in the air as thick black clouds gathered overhead once again, accompanied by the roar of thunder.

The lightning surged and gathered in Thor's Hammer. Wonder Woman tightly gripped the hammer and slammed it down on the Destroyer.

Boom!

Finally, under the watchful eyes of everyone, the already heavily damaged Destroyer, whose combat power and abilities had severely declined, was broken apart by the hammer and scattered across the ground.

"It's over!"

"It's really the power of Thor... Then, will Thor be a mortal forever?"

The Asgard quartet was initially relieved but then exchanged worried glances, anxious about whether Thor could accept the loss of his powers.

Everyone from S.H.I.E.L.D., however, was just relieved, letting out a collective sigh of relief.

"Anton, thanks to your Justice League for this," Colson said as he motioned for the agents to clean up the aftermath, smiling at Anton beside him.

"Something's wrong!" Anton frowned, not as relieved as Colson.

"Huh?" Colson was startled, his voice sharp. "What's wrong? Isn't it over? Are there more enemies?"

"No," Anton replied, shaking his head. "This has nothing to do with you."

"What do you mean?" Colson was confused, and the weight in his chest returned.

Anton didn't answer, but his attention shifted to Wonder Woman.

The reason he was concerned was that he hadn't received the notification of a justice value reward from the system. In other words, the system had judged that this matter wasn't over yet.

How could that be?

Anton rubbed his chin, thinking for a moment. He was a little helpless. Was it because this incident hadn't fully concluded?

The Destroyer was merely Loki's tool, and the true manipulator behind it all was Loki. The origin and conclusion of this event could not be avoided by Loki, the instigator. Anton began to understand: nothing worth gaining comes easily.

To obtain justice, the crisis had to be completely resolved. In other words, the mission wasn't over until Loki, the instigator, was dealt with—either arrested or killed.

"This seems… I'll have to make a trip."

Wonder Woman, whose thoughts were in sync with Anton's, raised her head slightly and looked at the sky where the dark clouds had now dispersed.

She then grabbed Thor's Hammer, jumped, and crossed the lava flow on the edge of the crater, landing in front of the S.H.I.E.L.D. team.

Under everyone's gaze, she nodded at Anton and then approached the Asgard quartet.

"This matter isn't over yet," Wonder Woman said. "Summon Heimdall. I'm going to Asgard."
