Dragon Ball:Vados is my Wife

Chapter 139: Chapter 139 : Heeters

Inside the House.

Granolah sat slumped in a chair, his expression dull and lifeless.

After listening to Monaito's account of what had happened back then, Granolah came to a devastating realization—he had spent decades unknowingly working for the very organization responsible for his mother's death.

And the person he had hated as his enemy for so long was, in truth, the one who had saved him.

Monaito sighed. "Granolah, you have to understand… the reason I never told you the truth was for your own good!"

Had Granolah known the truth from childhood, he would have never grown up in peace. The Heeters would have eliminated him long ago.

The only reason they spared him was that he was useful to them—and completely unaware of the truth.

At the Cemetery.

Granolah suddenly stood up, his face full of anger, and stormed toward the door.

Seeing this, Monaito called out anxiously, "Granolah! Where are you going?"

"To find Elec… and avenge my mother!"

Granolah's voice was deep and filled with rage, like a tiger's roar.

"You're going to die. Do you seriously think you can take on 300 Heeters?"

Karn stood with his arms crossed, his tone flat and factual—but laced with an undeniable hint of sarcasm.

He was right.

With Granolah's current strength, seeking revenge on Elec was nothing short of suicide.

"Granolah, if you go now, you're just throwing your life away!" Monaito pleaded earnestly.

Granolah gritted his teeth. "So what?! Am I just supposed to sit here and do nothing while my mother's murderer roams free?"

"Acting on impulse won't change anything."

At that moment, Bardock—who had been silent until now—finally spoke.

"Father, there's no need to stop him," Karn said with a dismissive wave. "Since he's so determined, let him go."

Sometimes, people only realize their own weakness after being crushed by reality.

Right now, Granolah was completely blinded by hatred. No matter what they said, he wouldn't listen.

As expected, without another word, Granolah stormed out of the house.

Two Days Later – The Heeters' Base

Granolah piloted his spaceship straight to the Heeters' headquarters.

Stepping out, his face twisted with fury, he spotted Elec and the others lounging around.

Elec, holding a glass of red wine, chuckled. "Well, well. If it isn't Granolah. Back already? Have you finished the job I gave you?"

Granolah glared at him, fists clenched. "Elec… did you kill my mother?!"

"Hm?"

Hearing those words, the Heeters were momentarily surprised.

How had Granolah learned the truth?

Not that it really mattered.

Elec smirked, swirling his wine. "Yeah, I killed her. And what? You came here to get revenge?"

"Grrr...!"

Granolah gritted his teeth, his blood boiling with rage.

"You bastard! Give me back my mother's life!"

Fueled by wrath, he charged at Elec.

But just before he could reach him—

Boom!

A devastating blow struck Granolah, sending him flying backward.

It was Gas.

Standing tall, Gas tilted his head and spoke coldly, "This is not a place for you to throw tantrums, Granolah. If you do it again, I'll kill you."

"Hah… This guy's completely lost it in his anger," Maki sneered, watching the scene with amusement.

But Granolah couldn't stop.

He didn't care about anything anymore—if he couldn't avenge his mother, then what was the point of living?

With a furious roar, he launched another attack.

Gas' expression hardened as he stepped forward to face him.

Bang! Bang! Bang!

In just half a minute, Granolah was overpowered and brutally beaten down.

Now lying motionless, he could barely move.

Gas clenched his fist, a deadly spear of energy forming in his palm, ready to finish Granolah off.

But just as he was about to strike—

"Gas, wait."

Elec suddenly raised a hand, stopping him.

Gas frowned in annoyance. "Why? He's worthless now."

Elec chuckled. "Exactly. He's no longer a threat. But I still have some questions for him before we get rid of him."

Reluctantly, Gas withdrew his energy spear.

Elec sauntered down the steps, towering over the beaten Granolah. "Tell me, Granolah… who told you the truth?"

Granolah remained silent, glaring at him with pure hatred.

Elec smirked. "Let me guess—it was Monaito, wasn't it?"

Granolah's eyes widened in alarm.

He growled, "Elec! What are you planning?!"

"What do you think?" Elec sneered. "Now that you know the truth, you're no longer useful to me. First, I'll kill you… then I'll go to Planet Cereal and take care of that old geezer too."

As he spoke, Elec casually pulled a pistol from his belt, aiming it at Granolah.

Granolah's pupils dilated in horror.

He didn't care if he died—but he couldn't let Monaito be killed too!

But just as Elec was about to pull the trigger—

A calm yet commanding voice echoed from the doorway.

"You won't need to trouble yourself with that."

The Heeters turned their heads.

Four figures walked into the room—

Karn, Bardock, Salama, and Monaito.

Elec narrowed his eyes. "Hmph… Monaito. And… wait."

His gaze landed on Bardock, and a flicker of recognition crossed his face.

"If I'm not mistaken… you're Bardock, aren't you?"

Maki gasped. "That's impossible! Bardock died years ago! How can he be alive?!"

Leaning on his staff, Monaito confirmed, "You're not mistaken. He is the same Bardock from back then."

Despite the shock, Elec quickly regained his composure. He was the leader of the Heeters—he had seen plenty of unexpected things before.

"Interesting…" Elec mused. "I don't know how you came back from the dead, Bardock, but it won't change anything."

His eyes flickered to Karn and Salama. "And who the hell are you two?"

Karn pretended to think for a moment, then smirked.

"If you really want to know…" he said, stepping forward.

"Let's just say we're the ones who came to send you to hell."
