Chapter 59: Revenge Invasion

Six moved with military precision, fully prepared for the revenge invasion of Shido's world. The massive force of 20,000 units, including vehicles, droids, and Vertibirds, made the operation swift and overwhelming.

Rebecca, unwilling to be left behind, had insisted on joining, so Six created a copy of both of them using 200,000 MSP for each. The invasion was set at Tokonosu Offshore International Airport, a crucial location, and upon arrival, they wasted no time.

After arriving he received a system notification about his Invasion mission.

Ding!

[Dimensional invasion anchor Set]

[Anchor will set in 48 hours]

[Invasion Quest: Survive and make a base within set time]

With the clock ticking, Six and his forces immediately secured the airport, clearing it of zombies with expert efficiency. The combination of B1 Battle Droids and automated T-45 power armor units made quick work of the undead, while Rebecca expertly coordinated turret placements and defenses around the perimeter.

Anti-missile systems were deployed to safeguard against any potential nuclear threats, as they weren't going to take chances with Shido, even though it seemed the fool hadn't even realized he was under attack.

Six, reviewing the situation, saw the lack of resistance from Shido's side. It became clear the deranged man hadn't learned from his defeat. He was reportedly still in a drunken stupor, likely celebrating the destruction he had caused in the Mojave, unaware that the tables had turned. Shido's failure to respond to his own system alerts only made it easier for Six and Rebecca to advance their invasion.

"Typical."

Six muttered.

"He blew himself up and still doesn't have the sense to be on alert."

Rebecca chuckled, adjusting her rifle.

"Let's make this quick, love. I'd rather not deal with this world's nonsense for too long."

The base at the airport was fortified within hours, complete with missile launchers, sniper nests, and artillery positions. Using the settlement creator system, they had established a stronghold capable of defending against any threats that might come their way in the next 48 hours. While the initial invasion mission was focused on survival, Six wasn't about to wait idly.

"We're pushing into Tokonosu City," Six said, sending orders to his forces.

Vertibirds, filled with B1s and automated power armor units, launched from the airport, spreading out across the city. Rebecca controlled several squads in key locations, clearing out strongholds of zombies and taking over vital areas, while Six directed the larger operations. Shido, still wallowing in his own arrogance, had left large portions of his world undefended, and Six took full advantage of it.

"How much time before Shido realizes what's happening?"

Rebecca asked, her tone sarcastic as they moved through the airport's control tower.

"Not soon enough."

Six replied, his eyes on the holographic map showing their expanding control over the city.

"By the time he does, it'll be too late."

Within hours, they had already taken over significant parts of Tokonosu City, transforming key locations into forward bases, establishing control over strategic areas, and clearing out hordes of zombies. With each step, Six was dismantling Shido's control over the world, carving out territory that would soon become his own.

The invasion was turning into a rout.

Shido's groggy awakening in Fujimi Academy with multiple naked female teens, was quickly replaced by sheer panic as his system finally alerted him to the fact that he was being invaded. His world, which he thought was secure, was under siege.

In desperation, he scrambled to use his most powerful asset, the Orb of Death, summoning an army of giant evolved zombies along with his most prized creations: over two dozen Death Knights and two towering Skeletal Dragons.

He had invested vast amounts of negative energy into creating these powerful creatures, knowing that they were his trump cards in any invasion. Shido believed they would easily crush any opposition, unaware that his adversary was none other than Six—the one who had already turned the tide of their previous encounters.

As the grotesque creatures lumbered across the battlefield, tearing through the air toward Six's forces, Shido smirked, confident in his victory. But that smirk quickly faded when his creatures, one after the other, were gunned down by powerful Origin Rounds.

Six and his forces had been prepared. The Origin Rounds, which turned supernatural creatures back to their natural state, proved devastating against Shido's army. The once fearsome Death Knights crumbled into piles of bones, their magical resilience useless against the physics-altering rounds.

The towering Skeletal Dragons, who had only moments ago been a symbol of Shido's might, collapsed mid-flight, crashing to the ground as nothing more than fragile remains.

Shido watched in horror as his prized creatures, which had cost him so much to create, were decimated in a matter of hours. The Orb of Death, his most powerful item, now seemed worthless in the face of Six's overwhelming firepower.

"No... no, no, no!"

Shido shouted, frantically pacing as he tried to come up with a new plan. But deep down, he knew it was too late. His invincible creatures were gone, reduced to dust, and his world was falling apart faster than he could react.

Meanwhile, Six watched the battle unfold from the command center, a calm smirk on his face.

"Poor guy."

He said to Rebecca, who stood beside him.

"He never learns."

Rebecca laughed, reloading her weapon.

"He really thought those dragons would make a difference. That was almost cute."

"Almost."

Six agreed.

"Now, let's finish this."

With Shido's zombie army in tatters, Six knew the path to victory was wide open. He began organizing the next phase of the assault, directing his forces to push deeper into the heart of the city. The end of Shido's reign was near.

Shido's desperation grew as he watched his undead forces struggle to even approach the invading forces. Despite sending every last zombie under his control throughout Japan to converge on Tokonosu International Airport, Six's stronghold remained impenetrable.

The strategic location of the anchor point was on an island offshore, and with the bridges destroyed, Shido's horde had no direct route to attack without facing devastating resistance.

Every time Shido attempted to send zombies by boat, Six's artillery and automated defenses obliterated the ships before they could get close. Even when his undead attempted to cross the ruined bridges, they were shredded by turret fire and aerial assaults from Six's Vertibirds.

The once confident overlord was losing ground rapidly, his once massive army dwindling under the relentless firepower of the invading forces.

Hours turned into a grueling standoff as Shido's forces were pushed back, inch by inch, unable to overcome the defenses Six had erected. The droids and T-45 power armor units patrolling the perimeter efficiently cleaned up the stragglers, while Rebecca kept the turrets in perfect coordination, adjusting the firing patterns and conserving ammunition with precise short bursts.

Frustration boiled within Shido. He was throwing everything at this invasion, and now he was staring at the looming possibility of his total defeat. His options were shrinking as fast as his undead army.

"They're cutting me off from all sides!"

Shido screamed, throwing his system interface in frustration.

"I can't get to that damn airport! There's no way through!"

On the other side of the battlefield, Six remained calm, overseeing the battlefield from his command center. The anchor was holding firm, and every attempt Shido made to breach the defenses was being swiftly countered. Six knew it was only a matter of time before the invasion was successful and the anchor permanently set.

"We've got this in the bag."

Six said, glancing at Rebecca, who was still keeping watch over the defense systems.

Rebecca nodded, adjusting a control panel.

"All their routes are cut off, and they can't get close enough to do any real damage. They're pretty much playing into our hands now."

Six's forces were fully entrenched at the airport, with anti-air and anti-ship defenses preventing any naval or aerial assaults from Shido's forces. The zombies that tried to swim or float across the bay were picked off before they could even come close to reaching the shore.

Shido, meanwhile, was running out of time. Every failed attempt to breach Six's defenses brought the anchor closer to being permanently set, locking his world into the invasion. With his forces scattered, and no hope of reaching the island, he was rapidly approaching his breaking point.

"I can't lose! I won't lose!"

Shido shouted, his hands trembling as he tried to summon any remaining strength in his system. But no matter how many times he called upon his abilities, the power was fading. His resources were nearly depleted, his zombies slaughtered in endless waves, and his remaining nuclear arsenal was useless with the impenetrable anti-missile defenses Six had set up.

As the final hours ticked down, Six prepared for the final push. He knew Shido had nothing left to throw at him.

"It's over."

He said quietly.

"We've won."

Rebecca smiled.

"Good riddance."

With Shido's world on the brink of total collapse, Six ordered the final strike. His forces surged forward, overwhelming the remaining undead and pushing deeper into Shido's territory. The anchor was nearly set, and with that, Shido's reign over his twisted world would come to an end.
