Your civilization was born within the Danlu Interstellar Cloud, which is encased by a spatial barrier, and might not understand the situation outside. Our Lvzhao civilization, although also located within the Tehrillion Interstellar Cloud, has already made contact with many interstellar civilizations, not to mention we are also members of the High Council.
