Genshin Impact: I Opened Blind Boxes in Liyue

Chapter 21: Klee's Bomb Blind Box—Jean's Nightmare

The mornings in Mondstadt always carried a lazy charm, with sunlight spilling over the statue of the Anemo Archon and a gentle breeze carrying the scent of dandelions. However, today, Mondstadt was destined for anything but peace.

"Klee! Where have you run off to now?!" Jean's anxious voice echoed through the Knights of Favonius headquarters. The diligent Acting Grand Master had searched every corner of Mondstadt but still couldn't find the little red figure.

Meanwhile, Klee stood in front of a newly opened shop, tilting her head as she curiously examined the sign—"Multiverse Blind Box Shop."

"Blind box? What's that?" Klee tilted her head, her big eyes blinking. She had heard that this shop was really popular in Liyue, even Ganyu had visited. Although Jean had told her not to wander off, Klee thought that since it was a new shop, there must be something fun inside!

"Welcome!" Ling Feng stood behind the counter, smiling as he looked at the little girl with a backpack. He immediately recognized Klee—Mondstadt's "Spark Knight," the legendary "Bomb Princess."

"Big brother boss, what's this blind box?" Klee bounced over to the counter, her eyes sparkling with curiosity.

"A blind box is... well, a mysterious box that could contain anything!" Ling Feng said mysteriously. "It could be a toy, a tool, or even a super powerful ability!"

"Really? Then Klee wants to open one!" Klee excitedly pulled out a handful of Mora and slapped it on the counter. "Klee has Mora!"

Ling Feng smiled, accepted the Mora, and took a red blind box from the shelf, handing it to Klee. "Here, try your luck!"

Klee took the blind box and carefully opened it. Inside lay a somewhat tattered book with bold letters on the cover—*"Ultimate Bomb-Making Manual."*

"Wow! A bomb book!" Klee's eyes lit up as if she had discovered a new world.

Ling Feng's heart sank. He hadn't expected Klee to pull something like this. Although the system guaranteed it wouldn't disrupt Teyvat's balance, with Klee's personality, this book in her hands could spell disaster for Mondstadt.

"Big brother boss, this book is amazing! Can Klee learn from it?" Klee looked up at Ling Feng, her face full of anticipation.

"Uh... well..." Ling Feng was trying to figure out how to explain when Klee had already opened the book and started reading it intently.

"So bombs can be made like this! This formula is so interesting!" Klee muttered excitedly to herself as she flipped through the pages.

Ling Feng sighed helplessly, thinking, "Well, the system said it won't disrupt the balance, so it should be fine..."

However, he had underestimated Klee's initiative.

Half an hour later, a loud explosion echoed through Mondstadt's plaza.

*Boom!*

Jean, who had been handling paperwork in her office, stood up immediately upon hearing the explosion, her face turning pale.

"Klee!" She practically sprinted out of the Knights of Favonius headquarters.

In the plaza, smoke filled the air, and pedestrians scattered in all directions. Klee stood in the middle of the smoke, holding a strange device, her face beaming with excitement.

"It worked! Klee's new bomb worked!" she cheered, completely oblivious to the horrified looks around her.

When Jean arrived, this was the scene she encountered. Her temple throbbed as she suppressed her anger and walked up to Klee.

"Klee! What are you doing?!" Jean's voice was calm, but anyone could hear the sternness in it.

"Jean! Look, Klee made a new bomb!" Klee proudly handed the device to Jean.

Jean took the device and examined it carefully, her expression growing more serious. The device's power was clearly far greater than the bombs Klee usually played with. If it went out of control, the consequences would be unimaginable.

"Klee, where did you get this book?" Jean pointed to the *Ultimate Bomb-Making Manual* in Klee's hands.

"From the blind box shop!" Klee pointed to the nearby store. "Big brother boss said the blind box has everything!"

Jean followed Klee's finger and noticed the newly opened shop. She frowned, deciding to deal with the immediate problem first.

"Klee, this book is too dangerous. I'll keep it for now," Jean said, her tone leaving no room for argument.

"But..." Klee pouted, clearly unhappy.

"No buts," Jean said, ruffling Klee's hair. "You can study these things when you're older."

Klee lowered her head, muttering softly, "Klee is already grown up..."

Jean sighed helplessly and took Klee's hand. "Let's go back to the Knights of Favonius."

Meanwhile, back at the blind box shop, Ling Feng was staring at a system notification in disbelief.

**[Ding! Customer Klee has obtained the *Ultimate Bomb-Making Manual*. Host has received the enhanced *Peaceful Bomb-Making Manual*!]**

"Peaceful bombs? What kind of nonsense is this?" Ling Feng flipped through the manual and found that it contained harmless "bombs," such as a "Rainbow Bomb" that sprayed colorful mist, a "Music Bomb" that played tunes, and even a "Tickling Bomb" that made people sneeze.

"This system... really knows how to play," Ling Feng muttered, both amused and exasperated.

Just then, the shop door opened, and Jean walked in with Klee.

"Shopkeeper, did this book come from your shop?" Jean held up the *Ultimate Bomb-Making Manual*, her tone serious.

Ling Feng's heart skipped a beat, but he maintained his smile. "Yes, it's a random item from the blind box."

"How can you sell something so dangerous to a child?" Jean's voice carried a hint of reproach.

"Well... the book isn't as dangerous as it seems," Ling Feng explained. "Besides, the items in the blind boxes are random. We can't control what comes out."

Jean frowned, clearly unsatisfied with the explanation.

"Jean, big brother boss is telling the truth!" Klee suddenly chimed in. "Klee tried it, and the bomb wasn't that powerful!"

Jean paused and turned to Klee. "You tried it?"

"Yeah! Klee made a new bomb, and it just sprayed a bunch of rainbows!" Klee said excitedly. "It was so pretty!"

Jean finally noticed the colorful powder on Klee's clothes. She sighed in relief but still spoke sternly. "Even so, you can't just play with bombs."

"Okay..." Klee lowered her head, though her eyes still sparkled with excitement.

Seeing this, Ling Feng quickly tried to smooth things over. "Jean, why don't you try opening a blind box? You might get something interesting."

Jean hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Alright, I'll give it a try."

She paid the Mora, took a blind box, and opened it to find a book titled *"Efficient Management Manual."*

"This is..." Jean flipped through the book, her eyes gradually lighting up. The management methods inside were far more efficient than what she usually used.

"It seems Jean got something useful," Ling Feng said with a smile.

Jean closed the book and nodded. "Indeed, it's very helpful. Thank you."

"You're welcome. Feel free to come back anytime," Ling Feng said cheerfully.

Jean left the shop with Klee, who waved back at Ling Feng. "Big brother boss, Klee will come back to open more blind boxes!"

Ling Feng waved goodbye, silently praying, "Please let Klee not pull anything weird next time..."

---

Under the setting sun of Mondstadt, Klee skipped along beside Jean, holding a Rainbow Bomb in her hand.

"Jean, look!" Klee pressed the button, and the bomb sprayed a dazzling rainbow, illuminating both their faces.

Jean looked at Klee's joyful smile, shook her head helplessly, but couldn't help the small smile that crept onto her lips.

Maybe days like these weren't so bad after all.
