Chapter 2: Chapter 2
"..." As Akio munched on the sunsettia, his golden eyes flickered with a hint of coldness.
"Hey, kid! Why are you eating our sunsettias?" A teasing voice called out from behind him.
Akio raised an eyebrow and calmly turned around.
Standing there were several ronin, their attire unmistakably that of the Nobushi from the game.
"Are wild fruits like sunsettias considered someone's property now?" Akio asked softly, his gaze fixed on them.
"Of course," the leader of the Nobushi sneered.
"Everyone knows this is our territory. The sunsettias naturally belong to us."
As he spoke, he scrutinized Akio.
White hair, golden eyes, and clothes made of high-quality materials in a style he'd never seen before. This guy must be from a wealthy family.
The leader's eyes gleamed with greed. This was a big fat sheep, ripe for the taking.
Hmm… no Vision, and his skin looked soft and delicate. Probably a rich young master who got lost in the wilderness.
"..." Akio felt a bit uncomfortable under their scrutinizing gazes.
"Kid, you ate our stuff. You should pay for it, right?" the leader said with a wicked grin, already imagining a life of luxury.
"If you don't pay up, don't blame us for being rude."
"Rude?" Akio smiled faintly.
"I'd like to see just how rude you can be."
"In a nation ruled by the Narukami Ogosho, do scum like you still exist?"
"The Narukami? It's been a long time since I've heard of the Shogun making an appearance," the leader scoffed.
"The almighty Shogun wouldn't care about us. Her precious Inazuma is already in shambles. Hahahaha…"
"As a citizen of the Narukami… have you lost faith in your own nation?" Sensing the disdain and hatred for Inazuma emanating from the leader, Akio couldn't help but frown. Ei was a warrior, not a competent ruler.
"How pitiful," Akio murmured softly, then sighed.
"But that's no excuse to bully ordinary people. I don't have any Mora."
"No Mora?" The leader's expression darkened, and he drew his katana. "Then have your family send it over, or I'll chop you up and feed you to the dogs!"
Feeling the murderous intent from the Nobushi, Akio's expression remained calm. "Ants, are you ready to face death?"
He hadn't wanted to fight, but since they were intent on killing him, he had no choice.
The real Teyvat wasn't the 12+ children's game he knew.
Here, death and corruption were everywhere.
Akio raised his hand slightly, and the Nobushi seemed to be lifted by an invisible force, floating toward him.
With a flick of his wrist, they were sent flying dozens of meters away.
Then, Akio clenched his fist, and several purple energy walls appeared around the Nobushi. The next moment, the walls slammed together, crushing them into pulp.
"Phew…" Akio took a deep breath. This was his first time killing someone, yet he felt no discomfort. Was the Herrscher of the Void's template affecting him?
The next moment, Akio's expression changed, and he instantly teleported over ten meters away.
"Thunderous Calamity!"
A bolt of purple lightning struck the spot where Akio had just been standing.
Akio frowned slightly. That voice was familiar. It seemed an old acquaintance had arrived, hadn't she? The mischievous fox?
He looked over and saw a familiar figure slowly materializing. Pink hair, drooping ears—it was Yae Miko.
"...Troublesome woman," Akio muttered with a hint of helplessness.
Although he had adored this pink-haired fox in his past life, calling her "waifu" every day, this situation was anything but ideal.
Yae Miko was undoubtedly the most difficult person to deal with right now.
"Miss Fox, sneaking up on someone isn't a good habit," Akio said, glancing at the five white fox tails behind Yae Miko. The golden light in his eyes seemed to brighten slightly.
Three Void Lances materialized behind him, and the space around him twisted slightly. Golden wings of light floated gently by his side.
In his Herrscher of the Void form, Akio didn't dare let his guard down against the enigmatic Yae Miko.
Yae Miko, usually lazy and teasing, now wore a serious expression.
As a great yokai and the second strongest in Inazuma, she could sense the immense power emanating from this strange man.
It was a power she had never seen or heard of before, but the twisting space around him sent shivers down her spine.
What kind of immense power could distort space? Yae Miko gritted her teeth.
This man was someone she couldn't handle. Would she have to awaken Inazuma's deity?
"So this is the power of the Herrscher of the Void? Absolute control over space?" Feeling the boundless power in his Herrscher form, Akio finally understood just how formidable the Herrscher of the Void was.
Even if the S-rank Herrscher of the Void template couldn't defeat top-tier archons like Raiden Ei, they couldn't do anything to him either.
"Who are you, and why have you come to Inazuma?" Yae Miko asked gravely.
"I mean no harm," Akio said after a moment of thought. "I am a deity from beyond this world. My arrival here was not by choice."
He decided to bluff his way through. After all, Yae Miko didn't know his origins, and with the authority of the Herrscher of the Void, calling himself a deity wasn't far-fetched.
"A deity from beyond this world…" Yae Miko narrowed her eyes, weighing the credibility of his words.
"Due to certain circumstances, most of my power is sealed. I will reside in this world until I recover," Akio added with a sigh.
"I can see the decline of this nation. You are one of its leaders, aren't you?" Akio looked at Yae Miko.
"You know about that?" Yae Miko grew even more suspicious. This man understood the current state of Inazuma?
"One of my abilities allows me to glimpse the trajectory of this world," Akio said, pointing to his eyes.
"I see," Yae Miko nodded, retracting the lightning in her hand. "Since you mean no harm, my earlier actions were rash. Please forgive me."
"As an apology, I'd like to invite you to the Grand Narukami Shrine as my guest," Yae Miko offered, wanting to learn more about this self-proclaimed deity from another world.
"That sounds good," Akio nodded, dispelling his Herrscher form. He planned to stay in Inazuma for a while, and if he could win over Yae Miko, many things would become easier.
"No need to call me 'Your Excellency.' My name is Akio. Just call me Akio," he introduced himself.
"My name is Yae Miko, the Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine," Yae Miko nodded slightly and gestured to the side.
"Akio, this way, please."
