Now the town gates only opened for a few hours and that too the smallest one.

Village Head Gu also didn't say anything. She sighed and looked at her husband whose eyes were red and said to him, "Go and stay inside home. Even if you stay here, nothing would change."

She was also worried about her in-laws but what could she do? Village Head Gu had sent them so many grains and meat but they still listened to the flowery words of Yu Linyun and let those two people live in the village and did not oppose. There was little to nothing, she could do.

Village Head Gu gave a harsh look to Yu Linyun and said to the rest, "Continue patrolling. We don't know when someone might attack us."

"Yu Linyun is really a disaster. A few days ago, she sent her own boss and her sister to the prison and now she brought this tragedy to our village."

"I believe that the one who was born under the Broom Star was Yu Linyun. Anyone who does her a favour will be dead. Her sister let her continue her studies, and she died. Her husband took care of her, he died and her daughter and mother don't favour her either."

"Yu Linyun! You invited the trouble to our village, you…you really are poisonous, aren't you?" One of the villagers who was holding the bone-chopping knife glared at Yu Linyun and Old Master Tong. Their family was really bad!

Yu Dong did not have any pity for the Black Pot Village. Those villagers used the relations that they had in the Big River Village and often raided the houses of the mers who were married in her village. Rice, oil, meat..they would take away anything that they could get their hands on.

Only one time Yu Dong went to the Black Pot Village because she wanted to get her hands on some iron grills for barbecue stalls in the mall. And the price the blacksmiths of the Black Pot Village set in front of her was simply sky high!

There reason? Since she had money and could afford them, she might as well waste her money on those iron grills that only cost eight taels.
