Chapter 10: ch10-Beautiful Teacher, Wang Lili
Yogan and Lara walked side by side into the spacious martial arts library. The room, filled with rows of bookshelves, was bustling with students searching for martial arts techniques that suited their abilities.
"So many!" Lara exclaimed, her eyes wide with amazement. As a martial arts apprentice, she had never been inside the library before.
"Let's take a look together. It's a good opportunity to think about the martial arts path we'll take in the future," Yogan suggested.
"Okay." Lara nodded obediently, though her gaze lingered on Yogan. His black hair, dark eyes, and handsome face made her heart race a little. Her pretty face flushed slightly as she couldn't help but sneak glances at him.
Yogan, however, didn't seem to notice. Finding a martial art that was both powerful and suited to his style would take time. He had already decided what he wanted and headed straight to the section for palm techniques.
Half an hour later, Yogan left the martial arts library, satisfied. He held a photocopied magnetic card in his hand, its surface glittering in the light.
Martial arts, as important resources, couldn't be checked out of the library. So, photocopy cards were provided, which were valid for only one month. This system helped prevent martial arts techniques from being passed around indiscriminately.
"A month should be enough," Yogan thought to himself.
Just as he was about to leave, a clear voice called out from behind him.
"Yogan, come to my office!"
He turned around to see Wang Lili, the head teacher of their Class 1, Grade 2. Wang Lili was a talented beauty who had reached the third-grade martial artist rank at the young age of 26. It was said that she was a senior graduate of a martial arts university and had returned to Linhai No. 1 Middle School to teach and improve her qualifications.
The number of people who pursued her in Linhai City was so large that they could probably form a line from her office to the outside of the school. However, she had never shown any interest in them.
"Hello, teacher." Lara greeted with a playful tongue-out gesture.
Today, Wang Lili had applied light makeup and wore a round-neck sweater paired with light-colored jeans. The jeans hugged her slender thighs, emphasizing her well-proportioned figure. Her high heels clicked softly as she walked, adding to her elegant appearance.
"The teacher still has that charm," Yogan muttered under his breath.
Lara, overhearing him, turned and shot him a cold look.
Wang Lili approached, glanced at Lara, and then gave her a stern warning.
"Dating is not allowed in high school, understand?"
Lara's pretty face turned bright red upon hearing the teacher's reprimand. She nodded quickly, like a chicken pecking at rice, then glanced at Yogan before hurrying away, her hands pinching her skirt.
Yogan couldn't help but chuckle at the scene, but his attention was quickly drawn back to Wang Lili.
Inside the spacious office, a faint fragrance filled the air. Wang Lili sat in the main chair with her legs crossed, flipping through some papers on the desk.
"Have you reached the first-grade warrior level?" she asked, glancing up at the video playing on her computer screen, which showed Yogan easily knocking Chen Quan aside.
"Yeah," Yogan replied, nodding. He had no reason to hide it.
He knew his talent was exceptional, and such breakthroughs were not out of the ordinary for him. They would draw attention, but not excessive surprise.
"With your talent, you could have reached the first rank half a year ago. Instead, you've been playing games every day…" Wang Lili said, her voice laced with disapproval as she glared at him, as though scolding him for wasting time.
Yogan didn't say anything in response, but Wang Lili's next words softened.
"Since you've made a breakthrough, I'll help you apply for the school's resources. Whether you accept them or not is up to you."
Her voice had cooled down, but a hint of warmth could still be heard, especially as she recalled the haggard sight of Yogan when she had visited his home a year and a half ago. Her heart softened as she thought about how far he had come.
"I heard from the principal that your performance in the Qianlong training camp was outstanding. Don't waste your talent."
"Okay, teacher, thank you," Yogan replied seriously. He felt genuinely grateful. Wang Lili had always taken good care of him, even when he had struggled in the past year.
Wang Lili nodded in acknowledgment. She lazily leaned back in her chair, crossing her arms over her chest, her two slender thighs tightly pressed together.
This was the first time she had seen Yogan sincerely obeying her, and it pleased her.
"By the way, the school is about to arrange a wilderness trial. With your strength, you'll be able to participate alongside the senior high school students. Of course, there will be other top high schools from nearby cities participating as well."
Wang Lili's sharp, exquisite eyes swept over Yogan as she smiled. "Are you interested?"
Yogan blinked in surprise.
The wilderness area was a notorious, dangerous place outside Linhai City, filled with ferocious beasts and rogue warriors. The government imposed few restrictions on the area, and it was often used by higher education institutions for trials.
"This is another kind of school competition?" Yogan narrowed his eyes, his interest piqued.
"Yes, it's organized every year by each city," Wang Lili confirmed.
She stood up, her long, slightly curly hair swaying as she moved. Her slender waist added to her graceful posture.
"Originally, only senior high school students could participate, but this year, you're an exception. I can't wait to see the teachers from other schools' reactions when they see you in action!"
Wang Lili leaned over the desk, supporting herself with both hands, bringing her body close to Yogan, less than 30 centimeters away. Her proud chest was now fully displayed, a stark contrast to the cold, indifferent demeanor she usually maintained at school.
"It's settled. You'll represent our school in the trial. I've already arranged your teammates for you. Jiang Qiuran and Chen Quan from the third year of high school should be fine, right?"
"No problem. But… are there any rewards for such a large-scale trial?" Yogan asked, his gaze still focused on Wang Lili's delicate, slightly alluring face.
"Of course. I don't know exactly what the rewards are, but I can assure you that they won't disappoint."
After saying this, Wang Lili straightened up, crossing her arms in front of her chest and smiling sweetly at Yogan.
"Okay, teacher, I'll go back now," Yogan said, nodding politely before turning to leave.
As Yogan's back disappeared through the door, Wang Lili sat back in her chair, her red lips curling into a slight smile. Her eyes sparkled with excitement and anticipation.
She stretched, her figure elegant and graceful, before turning her gaze out the window.
"Even though I wasted a year and a half, with his talent, I can't wait to see the surprised expressions of those arrogant students from the top universities..."
