Chapter 1257: Infiltration
"Who was that?"
"I swear it was a man. He was tall and handsome but I didn't get a good look at him."
"Man here? Do you think there is something Big sister is not telling us? Sneaking out and meeting people is not like her."
"I get it! It must be her boyfriend! They must have met during her mission!" The last twin said like she had her eureka moment.
Ariel who was now close enough to hear her instantly turned red but quickly composed herself smacking the twin in placating manner.
"Why haven't you left yet? Have you become brazen enough to spy on me?" Ariel looked at the twins with anger.
She had quite a close relationship with them and personally trained them from young age. They were also different from the other members of the clans, still naive and reckless like normal teenagers.
She could have told them the truth but she didn't know what they will chose. If they find out and rebelled alongside her, her master would never let them go. These kids were smart but didn't have enough knowledge to disappear like her.
Just knowing what she was upto could put them in danger so she didn't want to involve them in her mess.
"We were about to leave but she suggested to follow you trying to find out why you were going toward the jungle."
"You bitch! Don't blame this on me? Wasn't it her who said that big sister must be hiding some secret preferably some snack..."
"Don't drag me into this. I was just joking, with sister's influence there is no need for her to follow strange rules."
Seeing them point finger at one another, she didn't know how they were so affective in the field. She shook her head and twisted their ears one by one before dragging her back to the base. The transport would be waiting for them, she could have cover to go back inside without raising any suspicion.
But she needed to sneak out after few hours along with the poison vial which would be troublesome but not impossible. She still had some prestige and only second to her master who must be busy studying why Talia's experiment failed to care about her for few days.
Meanwhile Samuel watched everything from a afar, he could also hear their conversation and from clues, he knew these four identical twins must be the new Vishkanyas. Looking at them, they were barely over eighteen but it seemed like they have started taking missions.
He could call it cruel but he didn't know their circumstances. After learning about Talia's past, if she was not found by Raani, her mentor, her life would have went predictability. She would either rot in the slums or would have joined something that could utilise her natural beauty to fill her stomach.
But assassination as the alternative was also extreme. The silver lining was, she would only attack after going through her target's background. Maybe that's why she became a legend for getting rid of evil people in the world who would obviously have best security to protect them.
He slowly made his way toward the base of the mountain. There was like a service door that opened after which Ariel stepped inaide but not before looking in his direction and giving him a knowing smile.
He was momentarily stunned as the similarities between and her Talia would increase when she smiled but he hid quickly looking from side to side for any traps.
Seeing none, he simply went back few paces and climbed a tree to rest. Looking at the time, it would be sundown when she comes out again, while waiting he could only use his life force locator to make a mental map with the way the lights moved inside.
It might be hard for others but with his memory, he could distinguish different aources based on their glow and the way they moved he could get a sense of how vast the place was.
After few hours, he was really bored but fortunately, he saw Ariel coming out. She was alone which was good but he couldn't see her carrying anything which made her suspicious.
He moved back and waited for her to enter the dense forest before making contact.
"You hide very well. I didn't expect such skills from heir of the Rothschild family."
"Well, I try. Did you bring what I told you?" He asked getting to the subject. It was hard for him yo look at her as Talia's image kept reappearing over her face.
"Here." She reched between her chest. The sudden moment made him stare and seeing it threatening to rip apart her modest top made him curse. Was she intentionally provocating her or.. He looked at her and saw she was normal.
He realised these girls never knew these things. Someone staring at her made no difference because they knew the other person could never fulfill his desire as touching them meant death.
She pulled out three vials along with a piece of paper and what seemed like a small box but it was closed shut.
"These three are normal poisons my master uses. You have shown resistance to these but the last one is the most potent one so I will advise you to handle it with care." She wasn't careful with it as she was immune.
"This is the general map of the place. I haven't marked everything but the place where they are holding her in the basement. It mostly used as storage but due to her.... condition. She has been isolated."
Samuel didn't know what type of condition she was referring to but he didn't care, as long as she was alive.
"And the reason is this." She carefully opened the box to reveal a dark liquid,it was different and more menacing than anything he had seen before.
"I don't know what she used but I was able to get some of it from the remaining solution. You have to use it carefully as I wouldn't be able to get more of it but even this amount could be deadly and can kill hundreds if not thousands when diluted." She had seen what it did to Talia's body.
It was a miracle that she survived. It might have same structure as previous poisons but there was definitely something added to it make it so potent and polar.
"Thanks. I will take care of everything else. Right, I don't think I know your name."
"Ariel and you can't do this alone. We need to make a plan-"
"No, no, plans. Just go back and wait. I will contact you when I make it inside." He smiled mysteriously which made Ariel tense. Even she didn't have a way to bypass the security of this place so how would this young man do it?
Seeing he was confident, she sighed and returned after warning him again. She did what she could, if he died she wasn't at fault, right?
