Chapter 1258: Meeting-1
After Ariel left, he studied the things she had given him. The crude map with the location of where they were holding Talia was clearly mapped.
Through his life force detector, he already knew where she was as there was barely anyone's else presence at this floor and it was the deepest section of the facility, probably hundreds of feets underground.
But before he went to meet her, he found a secluded place deep in the forest and began preparing to ingest the poisons. He wanted these samples so that he wouldn't freeze up when confronting with the clan, with immunity already built up, the poison wouldn't have any affect on him.
He carefully studied the vials and started with the least potent solution. He gulped it down and felt the familiar sensation of his inside being assaulted by the deadly poison.
He already had a the pleasure of tasting the poison through Ariel's test but this time the dosage was enough for him to experience the pain in full force.
Maybe because he had been through these routines a lot in past week but it barely had any affect on him and the poison was neutralized within minutes.
The same happened for the medium concentration vial but the effects were more prominent. The burning sensation was severe and it was honestly painful, a completely different kind of sensation to the ones he felt before.
He didn't waste any time and took the third vial which made him cough violently. He spurted out black liquids from his mouth, a clear sides that he was taking internal damage but he sat cross legged trying to calm his body and mind.
If anyone saw him, they would be horrofied to see his pale body turning black but his body was fighting back making him appear a great shade of sickly grey which made him look like a corpse.
After half an hour, he exhaled feeling the last of the poison being neutralized by his system. What didn't kill him made him stronger was literally true in his case and he could feel the changes in his body.
After resting and drinking some water his eyes landed on the last sample. The one that Ariel warned him about. Even without opening the container, he could feel the ominous energy through the tiny vial which made the hair on the back of his neck stand.
After some deliberation, he took a deep breath and downed the liquid. As soon as his tongue made contact with the serum, he felt coldness. It was like his tongue had turned into ice.
The liquid moved through his body leaving him paralyze but it was very different from anything he had experienced before. The coldness was maddening but there was a fire burning inside his body.
It was like half of his body was cold while other half qas burning alive and where these threshold met lead to a excruciating pain that couldn't be described by words.
He felt a familiar sense through it and he realised this must be what Talia must have experienced in the morning.
His body didn't just turned black but his muscles and skin were reacitng violently, his picture perfect skin was cracking revealing deep wounds while he could feel his face beginning to melt taking on different shapes.
Just feeling the changes gave him chills but he was no where near the state of mind to care for it as he was howling like wolve writhing on the ground trying to keep himself sane.
Even his immense willpower seemed insufficient to deal with the emotional and physical torment of this vile poison but his body remembered. It wouldn't let him die so easily so it persisted. Somewhere along fifteen minutes mark he lost consciousness but he kept screaming and howling making his voice hoarse.
"Fucking hell." He growled but nothing came out from his windpipe. After an hour of agony, he finally woke up feeling his whole body was now drenched in sweat.
He got up but because he was too weak and expendes too much energy, he tumbled back to the ground. Whatever this poison was, it had disorienting affects even on his body.
He slowly undressed himself before plunging into a nearby pond something he discovered when he was descending from the clouds.
Now, he knew everything. If such a thing was used on Talia it was clear what would be consequences. Ariel's cryptic warning also made more sense to him but it didn't change the facts.
But it did change his approach. If these people were doing auch things in secrets, Talia wouldn't be their only victim. He was going to simply rescue her and leave but now, he wanted to know more.
Beside these people needed to be taught a lesson, something that will make them step back in fear just listening to his name. They dared attack him and people closest to him again and again.
He was holding back for the sake of face but now, they have involved Talia in such a experiment, he wanted to find out the people responsible. What he would do to them was still up for debate.
He clened himself up. There was no need for him to worry about contamination as the poison was fully neutralized and wouldn't affect the local fish. He picked out few of them with his bare hands and cooked them for some sustenance. After everything, he was hungry and his body needed many times what a average human needed to survive.
He kept monitoring the facility while looking t the map. He basically knew how many people were in each division. There was a lot of security according to what Ariel had presented in the documents but he wasn't worried about them.
His plan was simple, he is going to dig straight down and emerge in Talia's quaters. There might be meters of reinforced steel and concrete but with his ability, these things were child's play.
By the time he finished eating, the sun had set painting the sky black. A perfect moonless night for him to make his move!
