Honkai Simulator: I'm Really not Seele!

Chapter 20: Being captured by "Seele"

After uncovering the truth behind her wife's transformation, Lunelle let out a silent sigh, lamenting the unfortunate timing of her arrival.

Had she arrived just a little later, she might have been able to inherit the power of her wife, Seele, without the risk of dying. What a pity.

But such thoughts were nothing more than wishful thinking.

In this world plagued by Honkai, merely surviving as a human was already a miracle in itself.

"Ah, whatever! It's my own wife's body anyway. Whether I'm special or not doesn't really matter."

After reading through the entirety of the diary, Lunelle attempted to picture Seele's life.

In that moment, her demeanor underwent an abrupt transformation. She elegantly closed the diary, the lingering fragrance still on her fingertips, and allowed the body's instincts to take over.

With the muscle memory and diary records guiding her, Lunelle's presence shifted naturally. Now, instead of an outsider, she became a young girl—one who was gentle yet precocious beyond her years, exuding an inexplicable charm.

To be honest, Lunelle had initially believed that recreating Seele's personality based on a few diary entries would result in a clumsy and awkward imitation.

However, the moment she embraced the role, a peculiar sensation overtook her, as if she were a veteran actress slipping into character with ease.

She had never laid eyes on Seele's true form, yet her movements felt at least ninety percent synchronized with the muscle memory engraved in the body. It was as if she had truly lived in this world as "Seele Vollerei" for more than a decade.

At first, Lunelle had feared her act would fall apart the moment she interacted with others. But now, with her "acting skills" perfectly in place, she finally felt at ease.

"However..."

Her composed expression stiffened. A dark thought surfaced, causing her gentle brows to furrow slightly.

"How dare these pathetic wretches lay their filthy hands on my Seele?"

"Such insolence!"

In an instant, the gentle, graceful demeanor shattered. A suffocating murderous intent surged forth.

Then, a terrifying, deathly aura erupted from Lunelle's body, uncontrollable and overwhelming!

The first to be engulfed by this suffocating aura were the figures lurking just outside her house.

The moment they made contact with the aura of death, every trace of life within their bodies was erased in an instant. Within three seconds, they were nothing but empty husks, reduced to mere corpses.

These men had been hired to abduct a girl from the orphanage—one without power or status, but with beauty that made her a target for the depraved.

But they would have never imagined that, instead of an easy payday, they would meet their demise before they could even act.

Yet, after erasing those despicable creatures from existence, Lunelle's once-clear blue eyes darkened. As the power of death surged, her gaze turned a bloodthirsty scarlet.

The boundless killing intent twisted her mind, and in that moment, she lost herself to the madness.

Within the depths of her consciousness, a hauntingly familiar yet hollow-eyed version of herself emerged—another "Seele."

That Seele had crimson eyes, glinting with insanity.

She curved her lips into a crazed smile before lunging at Lunelle's main consciousness—one already teetering on the edge of madness.

Her mind was drowning in murderous intent, yet amidst the darkness, she felt as if she were being embraced—wrapped in warmth, softness, and undeniable beauty.

Perhaps even if she failed this simulation, she would still receive a guaranteed reward.

But in this unexpected turn of events, Lunelle—who had never tasted the affection of a beautiful girl—let her guard down completely.

At that moment, she forgot that the Herrscher's personality was an exact replica of her own.

There was no reason to resist. There was no reason to fight.

Faced with Seele's overwhelming advances, Lunelle, who had never experienced such intimacy, was utterly powerless.

Thus, the battle within her consciousness ended far too quickly.

As expected, there was only one possible outcome.

Lunelle's control over the simulated body was effortlessly seized by the other Seele. The Herrscher's will consumed her own, leaving her helpless.

Her consciousness had been thoroughly overtaken. There was no struggle. No resistance.

Hmph! She had been careless. That was all.

It definitely wasn't because she had secretly enjoyed being subdued by Seele's dominance and had willingly surrendered!

After all, what Seele fan could possibly resist the affection of Seele herself?

And so, when Lunelle's consciousness was completely defeated, her body fell under the full control of the newly awakened Herrscher.

Now, as the Herrscher of Death, Seele succumbed to her destructive instincts, becoming an apostle of Honkai, a harbinger of death.

Yet, before Lunelle's consciousness faded entirely, she made sure to mark a particular capitalist for execution.

Following that directive, Seele first sought out the loathsome Niuma noble who had attempted to force Lunelle into marriage. Without hesitation, she erased his entire bloodline from existence.

But that was only the beginning.

The instincts of a Herrscher demanded destruction. The urge to kill was insatiable.

Guided by these impulses, Seele's massacre began.

By the time dawn arrived, the streets were dyed a deep crimson. The once-bustling city had been reduced to nothing but a silent graveyard.

The air reeked of blood. The echoes of screams had long since faded.

A single night had turned the town into a dead city.

And, because Seele made no attempt to conceal her massacre, it didn't take long for the Fire Moth Organization to take notice.

Now, humanity had identified a new threat.

The terrifying Herrscher of Death—Seele—had descended upon the world.
