…
"Aaggghh!" The Crimson Witch screamed as if she were in pain. She was supposed to be controlled, but Aurora could see that there was still conflicting energy in her body.
However, this berserk state actually caused the controlling energy to be more overbearing, suppressing the conflicting energy.
If this continued, the Crimson Witch might fully disappear.
Aurora hurriedly drew her bow, but before she could shoot, a dragon horse suddenly crashed onto her from behind.
"Gah!" Aurora's hit the ground.
The dragon horse struggled to get up while looking at the blood puddle that suddenly erupted like a geyser.
"Tsk!" Luca hurriedly formed a barrier around the witch's wrists and ankles so that she didn't harm Aurora and the dragon horse during that time.
However, her barrier was suddenly flooded with blood and popped like a balloon.
"What?" Luca looked shocked, but the Crimson Witch was just starting. She formed a blood sphere and shot it like a beam. Find your next adventure on My Virtual Library Empire
Luca formed multiple barriers to block it.
Sadly for her, the blood beam shattered all barriers as if they were glasses.
"No!" Luca used her spear as the last measure. Even the dragon horse released its breath to stop it.
Unfortunately, they were too weak. The blood beam crushed their abilities and hit them, shattering the barrier armor.
They were then launched several meters away.
"Gah." Luca clutched her chest while the dragon horse endured the pain and got up. However, both of them saw the blood puddle moving toward the other dragon horse and Aurora. "No, Stop!" Luca could only shout, not wanting her friend to die.
When the blood puddle was about to erupt, a person suddenly dove from the sky and stomped the blood puddle. The impact cracked the ground within a 20-meter radius.
Bam!
"No blood puddle. I want this ground dry!" said the intruder while activating his second authority. The blood puddle was erased without a trace.
"Teacher!" Luca and Aurora looked stunned, while the two dragon horses were delighted.
"Yo! It seems that you guys have understood the lessons. You don't cause any major phenomena, but you need to believe that your power is on par with that of Li Wei. Unlike him, you guys are still at the start of your evolution. Take advantage of this knowledge and run on your path. You'll be able to catch up with the rest soon."
"Yes, sir!" Luca and Aurora smiled. He didn't overpraise them by making some comparisons. However, he made it clear that they weren't losing.
"Now, now. In that case, the Crimson Witch has lost her purpose. It's time to end this." Theo smirked while adding inwardly, 'In a single chapter, that is. We can't let the author keep prolonging the arc, right, dear readers?'
The Crimson Witch realized that Theo was actually the biggest threat in this place, especially after seeing how he crushed her blood puddle.
Luca and Aurora suddenly heard Theo's voice ringing in their minds.
"This is Theo. Don't show anything in your expression, and there is no need to reply. I'm transmitting my voice to you guys with my illusion. Let's show the Crimson Witch that, compared to us, she is nothing, shall we? So, this is my instruction…"
Theo charged forward as he explained his order.
The Crimson Witch formed multiple blood spheres and released all the blood stored inside like beams.
Theo took a step to the left, avoiding most of them. After that, he slashed one of them with his sword and sent forth his sword strike, cutting the beam and splitting it to the very base.
The Crimson Witch didn't expect that a single attack was all it took to destroy the blood sphere, especially when his students could only deflect this attack.
The witch controlled the blood skillfully, curving the trajectory of the blood beams.
However, Theo sent forth one slash after another, cutting the blood spheres in rapid succession.
The witch leaped back to gain some distance from him, but the witch suddenly ducked as an arrow passed over her head.
At the same time, the two dragon horses had surrounded her from two directions, releasing their breaths at the same time.
The witch raised both hands, forming a shield made of blood on each side to block the breath.
Now that the witch had stopped, Luca and Aurora rushed toward the Crimson Witch.
The witch glanced at both sides, realizing that Luca and Aurora planned to attack her when she was suppressed by these breaths. It wasn't like she could use all her power since Theo was waiting for an opportunity to appear.
Hence, the witch only had one option. She jumped into the air.
Aurora abruptly stopped and shot her arrow at the witch, thinking that she couldn't move in the air.
Another surprise came when the witch was about to dodge. A few barriers appeared, circling around her ankles, wrists, neck, and body.
"!!!" It was Luca. The witch panicked a little bit and lowered her gaze, finding Aurora about to jump. Aurora was supposed to use a bow, so the witch didn't understand why she would come at her.
But the essence coming out of her body gradually turned into that of an arrow as she launched herself toward the witch.
The witch realized that Aurora planned to become an arrow herself. She released a burst of energy, spreading her blood into the barriers to let them burst.
"It's too late!" Aurora was about to reach her.
However, a hand appeared behind the witch and pulled her to the side.
"!!!" Aurora looked shocked and saw the witch smiling as the reaper once again appeared.
However, this was what they had been waiting for. The clown emerged from the ground and grabbed the reaper with both hands, completely sealing the reaper.
She didn't think Theo would be this annoying, but before she could do anything else, an eruption of energy occurred. The Crimson Witch raised her head.
"This is the end." Aurora leaped into the sky and expanded her bow. "Crescent Moon Bow!"
The Crimson Witch took a peek at Theo. Since the latter didn't seem to be doing anything, the Crimson Witch put her hands in front of her, her palms facing toward Aurora.
"Go! It's time to hunt." She released her arrow. The arrow was much more powerful than the one that hit her earlier. It carried enormous energy, as if it were trying to obliterate her entire body.
The Crimson Witch created a blood tornado to stop this arrow, but Luca suddenly appeared next to her.
"!!!" The Crimson Witch looked shocked because she hadn't sensed anything earlier. It wasn't that Theo wasn't doing anything; he was actually hiding Luca the whole time. In the end, Theo was their teacher, and this was their battle. He couldn't become the star of this fight.
Once she appeared, she formed a barrier in front of the Crimson Witch, capturing the blood tornado before it grew.
"Seal." Luca clasped her hand.
The Crimson Witch gritted her teeth, but there was something weird. This whole time, Aurora and Luca had been avoiding a direct attack as if they didn't want to harm her. However, this arrow was meant to kill.
If that were the case, it would be better to let this arrow destroy her body so that they couldn't save her.
With that thought in mind, the Crimson Witch suddenly hid all her essence and spread her arms as if indirectly telling the arrow to come.
"You fool. That is a hunting arrow. It will only hit its target." Aurora harrumphed.
"!!!" The Crimson Witch widened her eyes when the arrow hit her body. The arrow didn't inflict any damage to the Crimson Witch's body. Instead, black-colored energy suddenly got expelled from the body.
As Aurora said, it would only hit the target. And its target was none other than the thing that controlled the Crimson Witch.
