I Fabricated the Techniques, but my disciple really mastered them?

Chapter 1171: Extra Story of Taihao and the Apocalyptic Evil Thoughts_4

He must have eaten too much, content and satisfied, and guarding the tree became too tedious; Chi dozed off, gradually falling asleep. After he slept, a group of people arrived.

"An aeon of agony, an aeon of torment, he was our master. Are a few tree branches really worth torturing us like this?"

"You're right, since he is not merciful, we need not be dutiful."

"We too have contributed to this Domain!"

"Can we really kill him? The old man is too powerful."

"This Creation Tree is the most powerful Divine Artifact; if we join forces and launch a sneak attack, we can surely kill him!"

Hao's disciples' faces twisted with ferocity. They began to cut down the Creation Tree, refining it into a peerless Divine Artifact and ambushed Hao!

Engulfed in meditation, Hao was suddenly jolted awake. He couldn't believe that his disciples, creatures he had created and taught, who owed him a great debt, were actually trying to kill him, and the Creation Tree had been cut down!

"You all deserve to die!"

At this moment, Hao was born of ferocity and evil thoughts, unprecedented desires to annihilate the Domain, returning it to nothingness, crazily proliferating. All he wanted was to quietly comprehend the Dao.

Disturbed time and again, his world shattered time and again, this Domain should not exist!

Even the Creation Tree, they had the heart to cut down!

Boom!

A great war erupted. Even though Hao's disciples joined forces and wielded Divine Artifacts crafted from the Creation Tree, they were still no match for Hao and were completely annihilated by him.

Yet, in the war, the Domain fractured, leaving only a sparse land that still thrived in beauty. Discover stories at My Virtual Library Empire

Gazing at the unconscious and sleeping Chi, Hao, red-eyed with rage, grabbed him and chained his body to the tree roots, then walked across the Domain. He wanted to take another good look at it before it was destroyed.

He saw it, a group of innocent, lively children helping an old man who had fallen. Watching such a scene, Hao felt something stir inside him, and his evil thoughts were surpressed.

"Why are these evil thoughts born? Are they a problem that arose from being disturbed during this meditation?"

Hao muttered to himself.

Looking at the shattered Domain, looking at the severed Creation Tree, Hao closed his eyes, seeming to have an epiphany.

"Such is the nature of the world; I was too fixated. The extinction of one species and the birth of another, are but the natural order of all living beings in the Domain. With the Domain so beautiful, how could I destroy it? Taihao! Taihao! The Domain is greater than I, I cannot destroy it."

Hao attained enlightenment at this moment, yet deep in his heart, there was a faint whisper of an evil thought, tempting him, convincing him that only by destroying the world, eradicating all living beings, and returning to nothingness, where he could peacefully comprehend the Dao alone, would be the true path!

He suppressed this whisper, and then Hao began to reconstruct the Domain. He realized that the strong could not mix with the weak, and that there must be a path for the ambitious to constantly strive upward.

Thus, the Thirty-Three Heavens of Taihao were created, and the branches and leaves of the broken Creation Tree transformed into the sun, moon, and stars, and a vaster Taihao Realm appeared.

Hao, releasing Chi from his chains, withdrew to meditate with him.

As time passed, people ascended to the peak of Taihao in the Thirty-Three Heavens, one proclaimed himself the Taihao Heavenly Emperor and ruled over the Thirty-Three Heavens. Countless aeons later, the Taihao Heavenly Emperor was besieged, and Taihao fell into chaos.

Hao emerged from his meditation and, seeing this scene, felt evil thoughts begin to wildly sprout again, urging him to annihilate the world. This time Hao realized that a great problem had arisen within him.

Thus, he extracted the evil thoughts and withdrew to meditate anew.

The evil thoughts found a young boy who was bullied, oppressed, and filled with hatred for the injustices of the Domain and the world. An unparalleled demon was born, manipulating people's evil thoughts, amplifying their darkest desires. He founded the New World Sect, to destroy and create a new world.

The Thirty-Three Heavens welcomed their second ruler, who was known as the Taihao Demon Emperor. Countless righteous warriors were slaughtered by him, and the Taihao Realm overflowed with malice, reduced to nothing but slaughter. Multiple strong forces allied together, but all were defeated by the Taihao Demon Emperor.

The Taihao Demon Emperor grew ever stronger, the world brimming with malevolence. Hao, in his meditation, was suddenly awakened and only upon emerging from his secluded spot did he discover the great turmoil of the Taihao Realm.

"You must be purged!"

Hao acted, extinguishing the Taihao Demon Emperor, beginning to restore the Taihao Thirty-Three Heavens. It took a very long time before the Taihao Realm recovered.

Before entering another meditation, Taihao entrusted Chi to maintain the Taihao Realm, ensuring that a disaster like that caused by the Taihao Demon Emperor would not occur again. With Chi patrolling, Hao went into meditation with peace of mind.

As time passed, an aeon surpassed, and the Taihao Thirty-Three Heavens indeed witnessed constant battles, dynastic changes, and the rise and fall of Sects, but these were all the natural laws. Chi did not interfere; its mission was to prevent the emergence of a second Taihao Demon Emperor.

Hao, too, occasionally emerged from meditation to look upon the Taihao Realm. He was very pleased with it and thus continued his meditation, feeling himself drawing ever closer to the elusive, profound Dao, seemingly within reach yet still unfathomably distant.

"If the Dao were like a book, directly observable, how wonderful that would be."

Hao lamented in his heart.

In the First Layer Heaven of Taihao, there sat a figure, cross-legged, whose face was indistinguishable from Hao's, the only difference being it bore a hint of ferocity, looking upon everything with an intent to destroy.

"This should never have existed, Hao, you are too deluded. To meditate in tranquility is the true path; everything belongs solely to one person. I will destroy it all to return you to the right path."
