As screams of terror reigned over the room, the Death Eaters among the Wizengamot made their moves. Harry cursed under his breath at the development. He had thought this universe's Death Eaters were smarter, so he didn't expect them to attack the Wizengamot like this. He couldn't even wrap his mind around the fact that the Lords and the Ladies had outed themselves as Death Eaters.

"Unless…"

A sombre realisation hit Harry in the middle of his musing. The Death Eaters had enough power to no longer hide themselves. That was worrying. That means the aide had enough power to tip the scale of the war. In other words, Harry's conjecture on the aide being He-Who-Defies might be proven right.

"Sod off, you soul-sucking buggers!"

Harry pushed the Dementors away and then turned his attention to his family. Bella and Lily met his gaze. A silent conversation ensued before they nodded at each other. Harry glanced at Charlus, earning a hesitant nod, before hunting the Death Eaters terrorising the Wizengamot. He didn't care much about the weaklings, but they would need as much help as they could get in the upcoming war.

With a wave of his wand, Harry sent a gorging spell to an unsuspecting Death Eater. His dragon skin armour did nothing to stop the spell. His chest caved in as the spell took a huge chunk of his flesh. Harry ignored the gory display and turned his attention to another Death Eater. At the same time, the Death Eaters also made him their priority.

Carpe Retractum!

Harry's wand conjured a rope that pulled one of the Death Eaters toward him. As the Death Eater was flying toward him, Harry tugged his Gryffindor Sword necklace and cancelled the shrinking charm. When the Death Eater was at arm's length, he swung the sword and split the bigot in two.

"Kill the Peverell!" the de facto leader of the Wizengamot Death Eaters bellowed.

Jets of green light shot toward Harry, forcing him to move his body acrobatically to dodge them. Some of the Killing Curses hit the frightened Lords and Ladies. Harry gnashed his teeth in frustration. He wondered why the imbeciles didn't get to safety instead of trembling on the ground like a wet dog.

That was when he realised that even Bella and Lily struggled to hold off the Dementors. Then, he remembered, as unimpressive as they were, the Lords and the Ladies were far less susceptible to Dementors than most. Realisation dawned upon him late.

"They can infiltrate the Ministry without being noticed when everyone is here. Of course, they can empower the Dementors."

A disbelieving laugh came out of Harry's mouth. Anger filled him to the brim in the next moment. As if taking that as their cue to leave, the Death Eaters twirled their wand around them and disappeared. A perfect Disillusionment Charm, one that only someone of Dumbledore's calibre could cast.

"You make a big mistake if you think I can't kill you," Harry snarled. "Protego Diabolica!"

Blue fire circled Harry before spreading everywhere. The Lords and the Ladies who were sane enough to keep their grounds gasped in terror meanwhile, those trembling on the ground merely accepted their fate. As the fire swept the room, screams of agony resounded. Humans and Dementors alike were burned.

The invisible Death Eaters were reduced to ash. The blue fire incinerated those who meant Harry harm. Surprisingly, two of the Lords cowering on the ground also got incinerated. Harry clicked his tongue at the coward who dared think to do him harm. A headache also came his way as he was sure he would get into legal trouble later.

"Well, not if they were considered collateral damage later."

Harry vowed to make it the case.

"Begone, you traitorous servants!"

Harry turned his head to Dumbledore at his bellow. His fire died down as he watched Dumbledore's Patronus brighten and push all of the swarming Dementors out of the room. Dumbledore's Magic filled the room to the brim, showing them why he was the Chief Warlock and the Supreme Mugwump.

Alas, that impressive Magic came with a cost. Sweat trickled down Dumbledore's brows as he bent slightly forward. He did his best to hide his reaction to the pain caused by the Withering Curse. His use of Magic intensified the withering effect.

"Damn, old man. You can't die yet. We still need capable hands."

Harry caught Dumbledore as he was about to fall. Dumbledore smiled apologetically before thanking him. They frowned and then looked at the door. The Dementors didn't enter the room but were now roaming the entire Level 2 floor. The elevator at the end of the floor went ting. A bright flash of light later, someone was thrown out of it. The person glided helplessly across the floor before stopping.

Harry let go of Dumbledore and swished his wand. A flash of light later, he appeared beside the man lying on the floor. Harry ignored Dumbledore's curious gaze and examined the man. He took off the man's Death Eater mask and saw Severus' stupid face. Severus grimaced as a derisive smile formed on Harry's face.

"Well, can't say I didn't expect it, Snivellus."

"Shut it, Peverell!"

Harry was about to tease the man more when someone stepped out of the elevator. However, it was more appropriate to say that he decided to reveal himself.

"He got the prophecy. It is in your best interest to retrieve it," Severus forced out.

"Traitor," the Death Eater snorted.

Approaching footsteps echoed throughout the hall as Bella, Rufus, and Amelia rushed out of the courtroom. The Death Eater looked at the scene with disinterest. The reason was revealed soon after when screams and panicked shouts echoed in the hall. The Dementors were causing a ruckus. Rufus immediately broke out of the group, followed by a reluctant Bella. Only Amelia ended up joining Harry's side.

"Treat dear old Snivellus, will you, Sweetheart?" Harry suggested.

"He is not in a critical condition. That can wait," Amelia argued with a frown.

"That's because I also need you to protect him," Harry replied calmly. "Revelio!"

Harry's Magic swept across the hall, forcing the invisible Death Eaters to reveal themselves. There were six Death Eaters now. Severus had managed to kill three of them while on the run. Amelia tensed. She hadn't felt anyone before Harry cast the Revealing Charm. Understandably, she was nervous about how close it had been she was to being killed.

"Amazing, Peverell. As the Lord says, the only one capable of countering his Magic is only you." The Death Eater who had revealed himself first took off his mask, letting everyone know his identity as Augustus Rookwood. "But your fight against him is a long ordeal still. Give us Severus, and we will leave the building immediately."

Harry quirked an eyebrow.

"You may kill him by yourself, and we will also leave the building."

A smirk grazed Harry's face. He was about to say something when Augustus interrupted him.

"You don't have time to dilly-dally, Peverell. You have a lot at stake."

Augustus smiled knowingly, causing Harry to stiffen. At the same time, Harry felt the Ward he had put at 12 Grimmauld Place being disturbed.

"Estranged he might be, Regulus Black is the rightful heir of the Black Family. With no reason to hide anymore, he can claim his inheritance now."

A flash engulfed Harry before he appeared before Augustus. He swung Gryffindor's Sword and struck Augustus across the chest. The Death Eater jumped backwards and shot a Killing Curse at him. He swatted the Killing Curse, redirecting it to a nearby Death Eater, forcing said Death Eater to dodge.

"Stupefy!"

Amelia stunned the Death Eater.

"Keep as many of them alive," she shouted.

Harry clicked his tongue but didn't say anything. He focused on Augustus as the Death Eaters ganged up on him. However, their plan quickly changed when Augustus transferred his possession of the orb to someone else. The Death Eaters quickly fled, carrying the orb with them.

Harry ignored the dying Augustus and levitated Gryffindor's Sword. The sword multiplied and then flew toward the fleeing Death Eaters. The naïve bunch thought their equipment and Spells could save them. The swords easily hit them. Even the lucky one who managed to redirect the sword to his thigh would still die, thanks to the Basilisk venom the sword contained.

"Impressive," Augustus chuckled while blood was coming out of his mouth. "But we still win."

Augustus grinned as he showed Harry another glass orb. Harry quickly realised it was the orb that contained the prophecy about him. Harry did as best as he could to snatch the orb from Augustus, but the Death Eater was faster. Augustus clutched a wooden plate that he put in his jacket and instantly disappeared from the hall.

Silence returned to the hall. The screams and panicked shouts echoing throughout the building also quieted down. Harry wasted no time in breaking the building's Ward and Apparating to 12 Grimmauld Place. By the time he got there, the area was as quiet as the forest when a predator was around. To his relief, the Ward hadn't been breached yet.

"Harry Peverell."

However, there was someone tauntingly standing before the manor. He was alone, showing his confidence in facing Harry.

"We meet again, at last."

"Have you finally given up on living, Regulus?"

Regulus chuckled before shaking his head.

"No. I just want to show you how easy it is for me to ruin everything for you."

Regulus pointed his wand behind his back and shattered the Ward protecting the manor. Harry's eyes sank coldly. He wasted no time in attacking the Black Heir. Alas, just like Augustus, Regulus disappeared before Harry's attack could hit him. Accompanying the young wizard was the silent night the Death Eaters left behind.
