Harry entered the manor and was immediately greeted by a white light jet. He swiftly swished his wand to swat the light. He heard a faint gasp and saw Narcissa standing across from him with a pale face. He smiled assuringly, causing her to lower her wand.
"The Ward… it is…" she stammered.
"Where are Fleur and the others?" Harry ignored the incomplete statement.
"In the basement."
"Is everyone fine?"
Narcissa merely nodded as an answer. Harry sighed and ran a hand through his hair. The Black Manor was no longer safe. Now that Voldemort and his goons decided to go public, Regulus could claim his inheritance without worrying about repercussions.
However, frankly speaking, no manor was safe anymore. What Regulus did to the Ward didn't have anything to do with his ownership over the manor. Harry and Lily had done their best job in erecting the Ward. Regulus had casually destroyed it. For his family to be safe, they had to move out immediately.
"Pack up everything and go to Potter Manor," Harry ordered.
"I don't know where—"
"Just pack up everything. I'll take care of the rest."
Sensing the urgency in Harry's voice, Narcissa complied wordlessly. Harry went to the basement as Narcissa was packing her things and valuable items the manor housed. Kreacher also helped her in her endeavour. Upon reaching the basement, Harry was greeted by a hand swat. He caught the wrist of his assailant, spun her around, spanked her butt, and sent her on her merry way.
"What…?"
Camille blinked owlishly as Fleur and Draco sighed in relief across from her.
"Harry!"
Fleur rushed in front of Harry and hugged him. Harry hugged her back and then informed them to pack their things. They nodded and did as instructed. As they left the basement, Harry took out his Hand Mirror and contacted Lily. She immediately answered his call.
"Harry, is everyone all right!?" she asked in a panic. "The Ward is destroyed. I felt it!"
"Everyone is all right, but the manor has been compromised. We need to move to the Potter Manor. I know the Aurors have a lot to ask, but I need you to be home now. Leave that pesky matter for later."
"Of course. Charlus and I will be back soon. I will also drag Bella with me."
"No, Bella is fine. She needs to show an example as the Head Auror."
Lily nodded before ending the communication. Harry contacted Bellatrix next.
"Harry! Are you all right?"
"Yes, my dear. I am all right and always will be."
"Thank goodness. Is the manor wrecked? Did you get there before it was wrecked, or it was wrecked because of your fight?"
"I arrived in time to see Regulus destroy the Ward."
"…"
"We will be moving to Potter Manor. I will pack our things and please take care of my sword. See you till then."
Bella nodded solemnly before ending the communication. Harry went upstairs and packed up. Lily and Charlus arrived not long after and immediately packed their things. The manor was almost empty when they finished. Everyone stood before the fireplace and listened as Lily, the Secret Keeper of the Potter, told them about the Potter Manor's location.
Poof!
Everyone was engulfed by the fireplace's green flame one by one, quickly leaving Harry and Camille alone. Camille was not very thrilled about Wizards' means of transportation, so she only felt safe travelling with the Wizard she trusted most. Harry pointed his wand at the ceiling and cast a timed explosion charm.
"Let's go."
Grabbing Camille's hand, Harry threw the Floo powder and stepped into the fireplace. The manor exploded as soon as they disappeared into the fireplace.
"Ouch!"
Camille rubbed her nose as soon as they stepped out of the fireplace. She crashed into Draco's back, who immediately stumbled forward. Harry would have also crashed into Lily if he didn't have an inhuman reflex. The first rule of using the Floo network is stepping forward as soon you get out of the fireplace to give way to the next person. Lily, of all people, should know about it.
However, Harry didn't have the mind to scold Lily about her rookie mistake. It was understandable, considering who greeted them.
"Harry…" Lily muttered.
"Well, it never ceases to amaze me that these people only see you despite being in my presence. That mutt Sirius Black's last word was also Harry before he met his doom," Voldemort grinned as he looked at the people standing before the fireplace.
"Hullo, Baldie," Harry drawled as he looked straight into Voldemort's eyes.
"Gah! Insolent mongrel! How dare you try to breach my mind!"
Voldemort dramatically clutched his head and gnashed his pointy teeth. Harry was immediately kicked out of Voldemort's mind, leaving him unsatisfied at how little he had figured out. Before Voldemort got his bearing, Harry attacked. His cutting curse hit Voldemort in the chest, cleanly cutting his robe.
"You!"
Voldemort returned Harry's attack with relish as soon as he gathered his bearing. They traded Spells at a quick rate and got further away from Harry and his family. Harry managed to push Voldemort back, much to his chagrin. Voldemort erected a shield around him and swirled his wand. The furniture in the manor came to him and transfigured into swords. The swords flew toward Lily and the others, ignoring Harry entirely.
Harry smirked in appreciation at Voldemort's creativity and insight. However, Voldemort was wrong to assume his girls were weak enough to require his protection. Harry believed in their capability, and they didn't disappoint. All swords were thwarted.
Flashing in front of Voldemort, Harry delivered an empowered kick to Voldemort's head. Voldemort flew across the room. Harry exploited Voldemort's moment of vulnerability by sending him an organ-liquifying curse. The curse hit Voldemort's exposed skin and immediately took effect.
"I need to figure out what his robe is made of. I am sure it is not dragon skin," Harry muttered to himself.
As Voldemort crashed into the wall, Harry bombarded him with Explosion Curses. He made sure to only hit Voldemort, so he didn't ruin the manor, at least, not more than he had. Of course, it was unlikely he would leave his family in the manor, given that it had been compromised.
"Stop it!"
Powerful Magic swept across the manor, forcing Harry to stop his bombardment and shield himself. Voldemort, bloodied and missing a lot of chunk of his flesh, stood up and glared at Harry with his red orbs full of hatred. He coughed and spat out a mouthful of black blood. Harry idly noted the chunks of liquified organs among the spat blood.
Voldemort spread his hand and gathered Magic around him. Harry poured a huge chunk of his Magic into his wand and pointed it at Voldemort. Voldemort's ruined body healed in an instant. Harry found it distasteful how the bald villain showed him his uncovered body parts. Harry didn't need to see another man's body to learn about the male's anatomy.
"Tonight, you and your loved ones shall die, Potter!" Voldemort exclaimed as he pointed his wand at Harry. "Avada Kedavra!"
A huge green beam headed toward Harry. Voldemort's strong Magic that rivalled the one Dumbledor had emitted in the Wizengamot courtroom washed over the house, pushing everything around him away.
"It's Peverell, you retard," Harry clicked his tongue. "Sectumsempra!"
The three aspects of a Spell are intent, visualisation, and Magic. Visualisation affects the similarity between the result and the one that one imagines. Intent guides the Spell in the direction one wants. Magic decides the firepower the Spell possesses. Sectumsempra is not one of the most dangerous curses out there. Using it to fight the Killing Curse gives you a straight ticket to the afterlife. However, everything changes when the three aspects are empowered.
The reward Harry received from winning the Tri-Wizard—Spellcrafting Mastery—allowed him to tweak some parts of Sectumsempra, making it more lethal than the original. His modification and the three aspects that he empowered allowed him to fight Voldemort's Killing Curse. His curse pushed the green beam and eventually overpowered the Dark Lord.
"Aah!"
Voldemort bellowed as Harry's curse cut his wand to pieces and mutilated his body, leaving his head intact. The air exploded, leaving a hole in the wall of the manor. Harry immediately summoned Voldemort's head and put the tip of his wand on Voldemort's head.
"Show me everything you know, Riddle!"
"You will see nothing, Potter!"
Voldemort's head quickly withered, leaving a snarl on his face. Harry scowled as he once again failed to extract any useful information from the bald villain.
"Darn it all! The world is fucking with me, eh? Not even the Fidelius Charm can stop these bastards!"
Harry crushed Voldemort's head in his hand. He took a deep breath and ran a hand through his hair. He turned his attention to his family and found them safe. The scene made him sigh in relief.
"Harry, you are wounded!" Lily exclaimed before rushing at Harry urgently.
"Huh? No, I am not," he denied before looking down on his side. "Oh, you are right."
Harry's eyes darkened. Old Tommy didn't manage to put a scratch on their first bout. He knew the bald villain had gotten stronger, but the fact just sank in. It was particularly alarming since he didn't know when Voldemort had managed to hurt him. The fact that he had killed Voldemort for the third time didn't make him happy. He had a strong premonition Voldemort would return stronger.
Harry looked down at Lily, who was busy treating his wound. She met his eyes and looked at him with unbridled worry. His lip thinned as he caressed her hair in assurance. Despite his confidence, he worried for the first time.
"Let's stay at Leaky Cauldron for the time being. I will build us a new house."
Lily nodded silently. Whatever the aide had done to Voldemort made him strong enough to disregard the Fidelius Charm. Harry wondered darkly how much stronger the aide was.
