Infinite Evolution: My Idle Evolution System

Chapter 353: Origin Progenitor Bloodline, Progenitor Core

The only Dimensions that Cassius hadn't ascended yet were Nightingale, the Heavenly Kingdom, and, obviously, the Holy Sanctuary of Yggdrasil. The first was simply because he was saving it for later, and the second because Angels were very mysterious—their Ascension Tower even more so.

Simply put, they were a risky beginner choice.

Then there was Yggdrasil.

Well… that didn't require any further elaboration, did it?

Yggdrasil was certainly overpopulated with end-game bosses. And as much as Cassius wanted to search for his mother and understand why the Dissonants truly wanted her—and him—he couldn't afford to risk things at this juncture.

As for why he made it his goal to ascend the Towers…

*Ding!*

[Congratulations! You have fulfilled the requirements for the 5th… or was it the 6th Main Quest? Well, no matter, you did it, and that's all that matters!]

{[Main Quest #5]}

— [Travel to 5 out of 7 of the Dimensions: HELL, Nightingale, the Land of Monsters, Wolfdom, Humanity, Heavenly Kingdom, and the Realm of Pleasure. You will need to make a name for yourself in at least 5 of these Dimensions. Break a leg! Or don't… wuss.] - [5/5] - [✓]

REWARD 1 - [Idle Benefit #4 'Minionverse']

REWARD 2 - [(EX-Rank) Seed of the Progenitor] → [Has been automatically unveiled to be the GX-Rank Seed of the Progenitor, which had a Rank previously hidden from you due to… Erm… because it felt appropriate! Yeah, that works, haha!]

REWARD 3 - [Acknowledgement of leading figures of 5 of the 7 Realms] → [Has become the 'Abhorrence of leading figures of 5 of the 7 Realms' because you're really~ good at making friends!]

Overlooking the System's typically d*ckheaded'ness, Cassius accepted the rewards.

[Idle Benefit #4 Minionverse unlocked!]

[Assimilating Minionverse with the Host!]

[GX-Rank 'Seed of the Progenitor' assimilating with the Host!] → [Transforming the Host into a superior existence!]

[Powerhouses from 5 of the 7(8) Dimensions now hate your guts! Expect to be hunted down and ganged up on by everyone!]

[The Strongest Demon Ancestors of the 7th Floor of HELL—particularly Lucifer, Beelzebub, and Astaroth—now have their eyes set on you for reasons unknown!]

[Lucifer takes an even greater interest in the relationship that you have with someone related to him…]

"Related to him?" Surprise flickered across Cassius's face as he wondered what the System meant by this.

Should he ask?

No, definitely not…

Let alone a proper answer, he'd be lucky enough to not get roasted for no reason whatsoever!

However, with the first two rewards just now finishing the assimilation process, his focus was brought elsewhere. Feeling something crazily bouncing around inside his body, he looked within himself. In there, he glimpsed a diamond-shaped purplish-gold crystal shooting light all over his insides like a disco ball refracting light.

The discharged light wasn't harming or even helping him; rather, it was taking tiny pieces of every aspect of his existence. He could instinctively feel it extracting negligible slivers of his Bloodlines, Physiques, Cultivation Bases, and even his personality!

Everything that made him—him—was being extracted by the light beams before returning to the mysterious diamond crystal. After which, those aspects were processed, causing waves of light energy to move across the diamond in increasingly greater increments.

Until finally—

WAAA!

Cassius erupted forth with a unique kind of energy that had never before been seen in the Ascension Tower. It was black, crimson, and violet in color, also possessing a milky-way-like glow that pulsated like the Core of the Universe.

This energy—it was exclusive to one man. A one-of-a-kind phenomenon that signified the birth of a singular concept that would automatically make the receiver a mythical entity of unlimited proportions and unlimited potential—

A Progenitor!

RUMBLE!!

The space inside the interdimensional tunnel Cassius was re-traversing experienced a galaxy-crumbling tremor. Space cracked and shattered, with the river of time diverging from its original direction.

Everything was sent into disarray.

All because of the metaphorical transformation of what used to be a regular human. Now the—

Origin Progenitor!

OUNNG!

Throughout history, the births of Progenitors were monumental moments. Each Progenitor represented the origin point of a new race and was thus given a name befitting their orientation.

The Wolf Progenitor.

The Vampiric Progenitor.

The Heavenly Progenitor.

There were several of them… but none anything like the Origin Progenitor.

A title like that was unprecedented!

Too grandiose!

*Pop!*

A snot bubble popped as Yimin woke up from her scandalously positioned nap. "M-Mashter, don't worry…! Yimins is here to protect you!"

Looking around with hazy, weary eyes, she got into a fighting stance. Her tail stuck straight up; she was raring to go!

Holding up a hand, Cassius assuaged most of her surging fierceness. "There's no need to get so worked up, Yimin. I've simply evolved again, is all."

That's all!?

Maxy could hardly believe what she was hearing.

Never in her long life had she ever witnessed or felt something as tremendous as what had just left his body!

Furthermore… had he become even more handsome!?

What da f*ck!

The power coursing within Cassius's veins was not much more potent than before. However, unlike how it was previously, it now had far more unity.

To elaborate—if before, all his various aspects of existence, such as his Bloodlines, felt like individual things attempting to coexist together…

Now, with the acquisition of the Origin Progenitor Bloodline, everything had become one.

Things like his Noble Incubus and Vampire Duke Bloodlines had somehow reached a state of completion and fused. A seamless fusion at that, with only their remnant traits remaining as reminders of what they once used to be.

Cassius's power now all traveled from the same, all-powerful Source—

The Progenitor Core.

It had sprouted from the assimilation of the Seed and, from now on, would be what took in any new Bloodlines. It would then meld them into the rest of the essence infused into the Core, thus bringing about an even greater Singularity Source.

To be an Origin was to be the beginning of all things. To be the beginning was to be pure and flawless.

No other Progenitors received the same treatment.

Discarding all previous lines of power would be their only choice upon awakening as a Progenitor…
