The preparations for the summoning were approaching their finishing stages.

Eon was done with a lot of basic things. They needed to test out the circuits, they needed to see if some of them were working properly, they needed to see if the circle was working as he wanted, and then… they would be done with the preparations.

"Quinny and Q have been going around the floors since yesterday so, I guess you don't have much problem with the training on your part, right?"

He was currently chatting with Zoe as the two discussed how they were going to proceed with things going forward. There was also one more thing they needed to look out for, the variables.

"Kind of… well, Del is still stubborn while President Zodiac loses track of what he's doing and starts looking for something else.

There are a lot of distractions but still, since Chry's doing well on his own, with Quin gone, I'm having a better time."

Zoe was handling Cradle, President, Chry, and Quin's training.

She had been looking after the four of them for a while now. She was also the one who helped Quin incubate the egg.

She was looking after various responsibilities including the matters regarding the Gate. She had a lot on her plate, but since she didn't have to work on the summoning circuit anymore, and with Quin gone, she should now have some time for herself.

"The books mom left in the storage area of your room were pretty helpful with the gate matters.

I think I've found the way to the core of the tower as well, but we should still wait for a little longer before we go there.

That place might be dangerous and I'm pretty sure mom has set a few trials for us down there."

When Rein discovered Eon's room, they discovered the three books that Zoe's mom had left for them.

One of those books was for Eon, and the other two belonged to Zoe.

Of the three, one was all about the unique elements of the Tower, a book dedicated to this tower, and the elements of this tower that they most certainly did not know much about.

The other one was a book that Zoe's mom wrote for her. A personal book that contained a lot of things that she never got the chance to tell her.

The last book, however, was a cryptic text that neither she nor Eon could understand. Something that contained some strange knowledge that they could neither read nor understand.

It was pretty obvious that the text itself was not written in a 'language'. It was strange but the whole thing was something like a code containing some unique knowledge.

The book was for Eon. Zoe had no idea what those codes were and she did not wanna know it either.

It might contain Truths, and knowing them would make things difficult for her, so she left the book to him and continued on with her work.

"We aren't in a hurry anyway. Let's keep things as they are for now. They will change after this summoning anyway."

Rein was practicing right now.

Ever since she found Eon's room, she had been feeling much better and free. She felt as if some kind of knot was untied inside of her. The feeling was simple yet strange, but there was some foundation to it.

"I see… then I shall do that. However, are you going to keep watching over sister Elle? She doesn't like it, you know."

Eon knew it was related to her abilities. Ever since that day, she had been able to control her eye powers in a much better way.

Those were her powers so Eon did not understand them. However, he knew she was using the divinity of her eyes consciously now.

"I know she doesn't like it, but I still have to do this for a little longer. She knows I'll stop after getting enough reassurance so don't worry."

Unlike the first time she used it in the snake dungeon, she could now control her powers when she used the ability with or without the divine powers of the skill.

Her mastery over her powers had increased after finding Eon's room, after seeing his older photos, and after seeing how he and his master spent time together… she found them a lot more Normal than she expected.

She saw the place where he stayed. She saw the bed, the unfinished things all around the room, a certain book that contained his experiences from where he came here, and then there were things that she saw with the power of her divine eyes.

"We didn't simply do good or fun things here. I didn't get the forbidden knowledge by reading a few books, Anna. And Rein knows what we did here, so there's no telling what she'll do when she finds out about the negative things that I went through.

She has a positive outlook on master. At least, she knows she was ruthless and strict. Let's maintain that view for the time being."

After one point, reading was not enough to understand the complex situations and things that were recorded not in books but in stone and metal.

Eon knew a lot, but that knowledge was not obtained without paying a price.

His master might have stopped him at multiple points, but he was a stubborn person. He wanted to get stronger, his desire to obtain as much as possible was greater than most.

He had done some questionable things for the knowledge and the powers that he possessed right now, and while Rein had an idea there were a lot more things that Eon was hiding from her, she was channeling her questions and confusion into her practice.

"What if her growth stems from her questions and doubts? If she knows, she will either be broken or her rapid growth will stop."

The divinity of her eyes has stabilized and after she obtains her own divinity, she will be able to incorporate it within her completely.

She was not strong enough to possess divinity though, and she did not have enough achievements yet. She would still have to spread her name all around nature to get Divine Authority.

But there were other methods as well, something they would discuss after getting strong enough to handle these spouse divinities.

"I know she's uncomfortable, but it's fine. We'll deal with it naturally."

Zoe did not have to worry about the two of them. They knew there was nothing wrong with hiding things from each other, but they had sworn an origin oath to one another.

If she wished for it, and if she was willing to use her Coins, Eon knew it would not be impossible for her to know everything he was hiding from her.

But he knew she would not do that. She was also saving her coins for something else, wasting them here would be unlike her.

"You should go now. We will finish this one soon, and we will have to talk with her about this thing as well. I don't think she understands the scale of this summoning, so we will tell her the details first.

She needs to know the risks as well."

Anna was going to be the one at the center of this summoning process. She was also going to be the one to change everything everyone was doing right now.

They knew they needed to get better, they were doing things that would make them better, but they were not being as serious as they could be.

They would soon realize that they were not simply using the resources of a place that belonged to a Saint-level entity.

This tower was capable of much more, and if they challenged and explored what they could do here, they would find things that would make them much better than they are right now.

And that included everyone including him as well, so Eon was not just talking about the others.

Once Anna has a partner and the medium through which she can use her powers, the others will start teaching her as well.

She knew the basics that she needed to know so she would be fine once she had someone through which she could use the pure energy that she was gathering right now.

The arcane energy arts were not simple. Depending on the individual, they could become weapon arts or even magic. They could even become martial techniques, and if someone experienced was using this technique, they would also have powers rivaling an archmage.

"If things go well, we will also do an elemental spirit summoning for her. Remember we were going to go through the spirit gate? We shall do that by the time we finish everything here."

"That would be better." Zoe nodded at the suggestion.

Once they had a way to get out of here, and were done with all kinds of training, they would perform another summoning, however, this time, the summoning would be of the elemental spirits.

There was a gate connecting the spirit world here, and they were going to use that to get a good spirit companion.

Eon especially wanted a partner for a long time now, but his unique elemental disposition made it impossible for him to contract with a usual elemental spirit.

He was thinking whether he should do it right now or not, but since they were here anyway, he decided to give it a try at least.

He also needed to unlock the next Solnova blockage so he was going to have just enough time for it after Anna finishes up with this summoning…
