[Eon's POV: ] Solnova is a unique power, I've perhaps said it many times by now. But, every time I think about what I know about this unique energy, I am reminded of how lacking my understanding of this power really is. It's an energy, yet there is something unique about it: I can use it directly as something close to magic. It is an energy and yet I can use it to power spells, and reinforce objects and my own body, it increases your innate abilities. Using Solnova when using any skill allows the skill to activate for much less energy compared to Mana or Aura. The energy is not the same as the other energies as it is abundant in the environment but only a few people could actually use it. Those who have access to this energy have access to a much vaster pool of Mana compared to the other energies. 'It is much easier to store the energy since those who could use it store it throughout their body instead of a specific core.' Unlike Mana which we store in the energy nucleus, or Aura which is stored in the conscious mind… unlike the other energies that have a certain center of storage in the body, Solnova is stored throughout each cell in the body. When it comes to extracting this energy, access becomes far easier compared to even spirit energy, something far lighter than Mana. Not only can you use the energy to attack and defend, but it naturally increases the healing factor, grants a clearer mind, and allows you to sense things that conventional senses cannot detect, and with this energy alone, you can become strong much faster compared to the other energy users. 'It harmonizes with the other energies as well, so it becomes much easier to use the other energies with Solnova than with the other energies.' Not everyone can harmonize the Aura and Mana inside of their bodies, most individuals only have access to one kind of energy. Those who could use a denser or lighter form of that energy might be able to use the generic forms as well, but the proficiency with which they could use these powers depends on how they have trained these powers over the years. 'Most people don't train energies like they train their bodies or magic.' Mana increases naturally as well as with training. You cannot generate Mana, it must be channeled and cultivated from the environment. You cannot create or gather Aura, it must be born within your mind. The stronger your mentality, the larger the Aura pool you will have. To strengthen your Aura, you have to practice and understand your inner self. If Mana is all about one's environment and the nature where it naturally exists, Aura is born of one's individual traits. Not Many awakened Aura, but those who do are naturally strong individuals. But, the same is not true for Solnova. You cannot handle this power if you don't have an innate affinity for it, and even after having a good affinity for it, how much you can access this abundant power depends on your talent as well as the efforts you have put into understanding this energy, your own self, your connection with the Origin where it comes from– the sun– and how close you are to that origin. 'In the case of Solnova users, the inherent origin is very important.' The closer you are to any aspect of the sun, the easier it is for you to harness Solnova. With time, the blockages throughout your mental and physical bodies that you can clear increases much faster compared to when you don't have as profound a connection with the Sun. 'One must understand that when we are talking about the sun, we aren't only talking about the sun that exists in the center of our solar system. The sun is a concept, it is the source of Solnova, it is the cumulative origin of solar energy that brightens up the world.' It is not easy to understand the origin. For even me, it has never been an easy task. 'My origin skill [Instigator of Dawn] allows me to harness energies and mold them into a certain form that I desire.' When I am passively using the skill, I am constantly harnessing the energy from my origin and enhancing my body. There will come a time when my body saturates with Solnova however, that will also be the moment when I am able to materialize my Origin skill into its active form, something I have not been able to do yet. Before that though, I will strengthen my soul to the point where I can use Roana. The Soul Armament that I possess is also a bit unique, but I could only use it when I am using the divinity of my stigma for now. Using divinity allows me to use the powers that my master possessed, but a stronger soul is the foundation for the use of the most powerful weapon that exists in the universe. Soul armaments are something even the gods fear. Still, the origin that I have, even at advanced mastery, isn't good enough for me to use even a fraction of the powers that those at a higher stage could harness from the Sun. Compared to someone like Zoe, a divine beast that stands in a unique position with the environment and is directly connected to the sun, the powers that they could harness are inherently unique. 'When Zoe goes through her first awakening, she will naturally open up a few of her Solnova blockages. And by the time she finishes all three of her awakenings, she will be an existence that even the gods would fear.' Her mother was a high phoenix, a divine beast that stands higher than their own divine counterparts. She would be stronger than some of the dragons at that stage, stronger than the perfect beings of the world. Still, her powers would not come from her strengths but her other abilities, from her wisdom, from her access to the knowledge that even the higher authority holders do not have. 'As the successor of my master, I would also have access to those things, but I'm still a human at the end of the day.' I am not born a divine beast so what I can do will inherently be limited. The path that I will walk is naturally going to be different from the path that Zoe is going to walk on. -OOOOOOOOOONG! It took me several years to become capable enough to open up the third blockage. This is my first attempt, but I am feeling confident. 'My life after leaving the tower hasn't really been the smoothest.' It wasn't even a year ago that I was living here with my master. It has not been that long since I saw her burn away into her last flames. Zoe was born from the ashes that were made during master's last moments. She is a responsibility that I must carry for the rest of my life. She is my sister, and I am the brother who must show my two little sisters just how beautiful this world is despite its flaws. 'After enduring the pain of fighting against the demons, after facing the divine beings like Wali and those puppets, after experiencing the glimpse of the divine power that we will eventually go against, the pain of a new pathway opening up inside my soul doesn't feel all that bad…' As I sit in the center of the Solnova training circle that I can only use once every few years, I am reminded of how I opened up my first and second blockages with my master. The first time was the hardest, but she was there for me. She was there the second time as well, but she isn't around anymore. 'Still…' I have my sisters watching over me right now, waiting for me to finish this training and come out victorious. My fiancee is waiting for me… my brothers and sisters, my knight, my grandfather and aunt, and my friends are waiting for me. 'This is nothing.' Solnova was covering my entire body right now. The white Solnova that I possess and the formless energy that originally existed within the Origin are all colliding. The first pathway was the introduction, the base that everyone must understand completely before reaching the second gate. The second blockage is something that one can only open up when there is an absolute understanding of the truth of the Origin. The third one, however, is different. 'You don't need an absolute understanding of the origin or a certain amount of strength to clear the third blockage. You need something much more fundamental, something you might never get if you don't experience different aspects of life…' Love, hate, rage, affection, sadness, helplessness, envy, greed, bliss, faith, virtues and sins, emotions and feelings, unless you understand all these, you cannot access the third gate and open up the third blockage restricting your [Cosmic core]. 'However, once you understand that, and gather enough of the Solnova…' -OOOOOOOOOONG…! -ZAAAAAAA!!! You become eligible to open the third blockage of the Solnova body, accessing the power to harness the different aspects of the Solnova that uniquely define this special kind of energy. 'I've done it…' It did not take me a moment, it did not take me a day or just one session. Ever since I was reborn into this world, to the time I spent in the forbidden forest, to the time I spent with my master, to the time I spent with my family and friends in the great academy, to this very point. It was an accumulation of all these experiences that allowed me this great fortune… 'But now I'm a step closer.' With the third blockage cleared, a new hurdle stands before me. It is from this point… that things will become exponentially difficult for me. 'It's going to be worse from now on.' But if it's for them, I will endure even the worst of pains. 'If it's for them, all of it is naturally worth every bit of agony that I'm bound to go through.' They are my reason for living. Their happiness… yeah. That's the one thing that matters far more than this unfair fate.
