Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer

Chapter 1157: Approching whiteness

[Eon's POV: ]

"I feel stronger, my body feels lighter as well, and even though I felt a lot of pain earlier, there isn't much pain anymore.

The increased Solnova levels will help me get to (tier-5), but I think I should focus on the stigma for the time being. Same with Aura, though I will have to focus on my archery when we get back."

Anna was looking at me with curious eyes, trying to figure out just what had changed about me.

She knew there was something different about me, she could feel there was something different about me, but she couldn't wrap her head around what exactly was different about me.

'She couldn't sense Solnova, of course, but the unique power to feel the emotions and one's mental and emotional state allowed her to detect changes in people that she knew well.'

Her abilities were unique in many ways. If even Grandpa couldn't figure out what was different about me, it was simply a miracle that she was able to tell there was something different about me now.

"The opening of the blockage makes it easier for you to use Solnova, right? Does that mean you can use stronger spells of Solnova?" Rein was checking with her eyes but even she could barely detect any changes to my body.

She could see a lot of things but things related to one's origin and in my case, things related to Solnova were one thing that she could not see as well as the other things.

That did not mean she could not detect anything about the Solnova at all though. She was pretty good at using her eyes so even if she could not detect the change in Solnova inside my body, she could tell the changes to my overall body structure.

'Since the increase in Solnova accessibility added more overall energy to my body cells, she could see how there was more accessible energy inside of me now.'

It meant I was stronger now, but I was still not used to this increased energy level.

The spells that I will use with Solnova would not be any different because of the increased levels of energy but there is surely going to be an increase in how I utilize this energy.

"It's all about how I use the Solnova, Rein. If I want to use it for spells, I can use it for spells, if I want to utilize the energy in something else, I can do that as well.

Overall, there are many things that I can do with the Solnova that I have access to. It is the same energy that I have been familiar with, the energy purity is the same as well so I don't think I will need too long to get used to this.

I don't think I should use a lot of it in a short time though. The body might get damaged if I'm careless so it would be better if I don't have to use a lot of it for the next few days."

Rein knew I was saying it like that because we were leaving for the outside soon.

We don't know what awaits us outside.

"Don't worry, dummy. You won't have to overexert yourself with everyone there. Don't get too far from me and you'll be alright, ok?" She was worried about me, but she knew I was fine right now.

"I know you'll protect me. Of course, I don't have to worry about anything."

I had just become stronger so there was no need to worry about me too much. I was working on myself for the last few days and she was watching over me.

She knew I wasn't pushing myself too much. Unlike Carla who was using all means to get stronger, I was doing things in a systematic manner.

There were a lot of resources and opportunities in the tower. Simply using all of that the right way was enough to get stronger. There was no need to use brute methods like she was doing, but since Grandpa wanted her to learn how bad it was, we weren't stopping her.

She had been fighting Alf over the conflicting opinions for a while now, but that was a good learning experience for both of them as well.

"Alright then. We should go have dinner now, right?" I was done with my training.

Opening up the third blockage took almost the entire day… I started before dawn and it was nighttime already.

It took a while to finish, but now that it was done, we could finally go and have the meal that my sisters and Rein prepared for us.

"Yeah, sure. Let's go have dinner-."

"Big brother. Wait a minute." Anna was still trying to figure out what was different about me, and I was about to pick her up. But right when I was doing that, Zoe called me out.

"There's something I want to show you. Can you come with me for a minute? Everyone can go to the dining hall downstairs, it's fine."

She didn't want to worry the others that were all gathered around us right now so she said it as carefully as she could.

It was obvious that she wanted to talk about something important. The look on her face might be normal, but everyone here knew this girl by now.

They knew this was something important, so they did not ask her anything.

"Alright then. We will be downstairs." Rein took Anna and the little angel nodded at Zoe with an understanding expression.

She was becoming more mature as the days went by.

"Is there anything we should worry about, Zoe?" Grandpa asked her with a concerned expression, but she simply shook her head.

"No, no. It's nothing serious, actually. We will tell you after we discuss it a little, Grandpa." She reassured him that it was fine.

He could tell she was confused about whether to tell whatever it was to everyone. She wanted to discuss it with me first and get my opinion on it, and if that was the case, the others understood it wasn't that serious a matter.

'The others wouldn't even have known about any of it if the matter was actually serious. But if she was going to tell them, then there was not much to worry about.'

The others realized this and moved on to the other things.

Rein took Anna and the others down, while Zoe and I moved up to the surveillance room filled with tens of floating magic screens showing different parts of the forest.

"What's up, Zoe? What's going on?"

I asked her what was going on when we were on the way as well, but she did not say anything. All she was saying was how seeing it myself would be much better than telling me about it.

"There's something you should see, big brother." She manipulated some of the screens in the room and brought up a few that had some unique scenes showing up on them.

"They… what?"

We made many surveillance artifacts and placed them all over the forest. Some of Celes' clones were roaming the forest as well, so she had been watching some parts of the forest.

I had told her to limit her observation area, so she did keep her distance limited, but we had sent many drones and artificial creatures all around the forest that either showed us live footage in real time, or sent periodic clips of the things that they see.

'They weren't easy to detect, we had made sure of that much.'

We made it difficult for even the special creatures of the forest to detect them, so the chances were smaller that they would be detected by the humans.

However, that might not be the case for long…

"Keep them away."

"I'm doing that, big brother. If it wasn't for the energy disturbances, I think she would have picked up on them a while ago."

What we were seeing right now was not live footage. It was from ones that were pretty far away in the forest, in places where I did not send Celes.

The footage was showing a party of adventurers fighting a (Purple) rank creature. But, these adventurers weren't just any foolish humans that had ended up in the forbidden forest.

"Why are they here, right now of all times?"

One of the greatest parties on earth right now is led by the first prince of Roxanna: Vulcan. They were some of the best that existed on the planet, and they were in the forbidden forest of Kamut right now, on the far end of the north.

"I don't know what they're doing there, big brother, but if they stay there for much longer, I don't think they will be fine.

They are approaching the territory of (Lilian Carnelia)... even if they are the best of the best, it's not going to be easy for any of them."

They entered from the north, that was a big mistake.

"Did they enter from the plains of Adanca? Man… this is complicated."

The first prince of Roxanna was one thing, the people that were with him were some of the most precious treasures of the world.

They were undoubtedly strong people, but strength and wisdom were not the only things that mattered in the great forest.

"What should we do, big brother?" Zoe's worries were all valid. Even I don't know what to do now… there's no way we could go there personally, but if they get in trouble, this is going to be pretty complicated for us as well.

"We should talk with the others first."

This wasn't a simple matter.

We needed adult advice here… thankfully, we had people who would understand the complexity of the situation.

'Why of all times… haaa…'
