Let Me Go, Mr Carson

Lana's jaw completely dropped as she was let into the house by the men... if she was mesmerised by the outside, then she was left in complete awe of the inside... it was much more spectacular than she had ever imagined... "Mr Carson is waiting for you", a voice caught Lana's attention, and her eyes slowly travelled from the house she was admiring to the man who was staring at her with an uninterested eye... He looked to be in his late fifties or early sixties, and he was dressed in some sort of uniform... Lana didn't have enough time to admire the house because she was led away by the men...

The men started to lead her to the back of the house, and after walking for a few minutes, they finally arrived in front of a door... Lana quickly turned to look at the man with pleading eyes... "Why are you doing this to me? I did nothing wrong," She said to him, but she ignored him once again... the man unlocked the door and pushed her into a pitch black room, he locked the door as soon as she was in the room and when she heard the clicking sound, her heart dropped...

The room was completely dark and she couldn't see a thing... she couldn't see her surroundings to check if there was a window that she could drop through... she couldn't even see her hands or the door..... she couldn't see anything!

"This isn't right! you can't keep me locked up in here!" Lana screamed at the top of her voice and started to bang loudly on the door, her entire body started to tremble in fear as her hand travelled to the door knob and she started to rattle it, trying to pry the door open, but it was closed shut... she continued this for a few minutes before she finally gave up that she was trapped... she slowly fell to her knees and started to sob silently... her shoulders shook violently as she sobbed, but she didn't cry for long because lana knew she needed her energy if she was ever going to escape from this place... she crawled to the door and rested her back on it, her heart racing in her chest as she tried to think if anyone would notice that she had gone missing... Her cell phone and belongings were still in her room... but would anyone notice or care... she barely spoke or saw her neighbours... she preferred keeping to herself, and if she didn't show up at the factory she worked at, no one would care. She would simply get replaced within a twinkle of an eye... No one would care... those words played in her mind over and over again.... the only people that would seem to care to know where she was or try to look for her were probably her father's debtors... this made her scoff and facepalm herself.... up until now she knew her life sucked, but she had no idea it would to this extent.... even if she went missing forever no one would cry for her...

Stray tears escaped from her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away as soon as they came...

Lana squinted her eyes because of how used they had become to the darkness... it was that way for a few seconds before it finally landed on the man who had brought her there...

Her eyes immediately became filled with hope as she stared at the man. Are they letting her go? Did all her shouting and screaming work? "Come with me," the man said in a cold voice and though Lana was hesitant she got up and did as he said... she had a small percentage of hope in her that he was going to let her go home and if he didn't well she just had to continue begging till he took pity on her. that had worked well for her for the past years... people always took pity on her when they saw the situation that she was in... she hoped he wouldn't be any different...

"where are we going" She asked in a low voice and turned to look at the man behind her, but he said nothing and she held her tongue... they walked through a long hallway till they got to a door and the man grabbed her arm causing her to yelp... He knocked on the door that they were standing in front of, and then after waiting for a few seconds, he turned the doorknob and turned to look at Lana. "He is waiting in there for you" Lana immediately became confused... who was? She was able to ask because the man pushed her into the room and closed the door in her face... Panic quickly set in... "What are you doing? let me out of here!" Lana screamed at the top of her lungs; her face was flushed with fear, and her eyes were wide as she tried to open the door, but this door was locked too. "There is no use" Lana completely froze when she heard a cold voice coming from behind her... she let out a shaky breath and fisted her hand close to her side... she slowly turned to look at who was in the room with her and her eyes landed on the most handsome man she had ever seen in her life... He was putting on a shirt but the first two buttons of His shirt were undone and his sleeves rolled up... his hair was completely dishevelled like he had run his hand through it multiple times, but what caught her attention was his mesmerising eyes... ocean blue eyes... at first glance, it was like staring into the ocean but at a second glance one would quickly notice the coldness to it... the icy coldness that causea certain intimidation to overshadow a person... Was he the one behind this! Was he the reason she was brought here? Was he the Mr Carson that the older man with the uniform had mention was waiting!
