Let Me Go, Mr Carson

The man with ocean-blue eyes regarded her in silence for a few seconds before he started to walk up to where she was... Lana immediately took a few steps away from him, her entire being beyond tensed up because of the icy look he had in his eyes... if looks could kill, then she would probably be dead by now! What the hell did her father get involved with! she didn't want to be any part of this! she wanted to be left alone damn it! Was that too much to ask for... The man looked really mad at her, but Lana had never seen him before in her entire life... she had no idea who he was! "Lana..." His name escaped from his lips, which curled up into a smile that made a cold shiver run down her spine... "I finally found you..." He added in a low voice and stopped walking in front of her... Lana tried to back away from him but couldn't because her back was against the door now, and she couldn't walk away because he was standing right in front of her, blocking her way... walk away to where! She was trapped in this room with him. What was he going to do to her! she had to think fast!... "What do you want from me! why was I brought here!" Lana asked. She was tired of pleading because it was unlikely that they would let her go even if she did... The smile on his face immediately dissipated, and when he took a step closer to her, the tension and fear in her multiplied... "Why were you brought here?" he repeated her questions and started to chuckle like she had asked something funny... Lana stared at him like he was crazy! what was funny about this horrible situation that she was in!" There was nothing funny! Absolutely nothing funny about someone being taken captive against their will! Instead of funny, it was crazy! She wanted an explanation at least so she could know the amount of mess she was in...

"Do you know who I am?" the man asked in a low voice, and Lana immediately shook her head... "No! I don't know who you are or why I'm here!" Lana responded and hated the sound of her own voice in her ear... it was fear-ridden...

"Are you one of my father's debtors?" She asked in a shaky voice, and the man started to chuckle once again as he stared at her...

The laughter died abruptly, and he took a step closer to her, and Lana's heart dropped... she held her breath as she stared into his eyes... "I'm way more than that, Lana..." he said in a low voice, and the next second, Lana's eyes grew completely wide because his hand flew to her neck and started to squeeze the breath right out of her!...

Lana's hands immediately flew off the right hand on her neck that was trying to squeeze the life out of her... blood had rushed up to her face as she tried to gasp for air and at the same time pry his hands away from her neck, but his grip on her neck was tight and all her efforts were futile... She was going to die! This monster was going to kill her for something she knew nothing about! Just as she thought it was her end, the hands around her neck slowly loosened, and she fell down to the ground and started to gasp for breath! Her entire body still trembling in fear as fresh tears started to escape her eyes... she started to crawl away from him before he tried to kill her once again and now her back was finally against the wall as she stared at the man who was still standing in the same spot, unmoving... He looked like he was trapped in a daze, but Lana couldn't care one bit about that... what she cared about was escaping... her eyes immediately started to scan the room that she was in, and it looked like some sort of study... There was a window at the far end of the room... Her eyes travelled back to the man who hadn't made a move, and then they trailed back to the window... if she could run up to the window and try to escape through it, then maybe she could make a run for it... but what if he got to her before he did and really tried to kill her this time... Her chances of escaping were low and... her mind immediately trailed off when his voice thundered through the entire room...

"Is anyone out there! take her away here, my sight!" ...his eyes were filled with so much anger and resentment as he spoke...

Lana immediately scurried to her feet when she saw the door open, and she made a run to the window! But before she could get there, she felt a hand on her arm, tugging her away from her escape... "No!" she yelled out at the top of her lungs as she was dragged away... "Let me go! Damn it!" she yelled and screamed, but it only resulted in her getting picked up like a piece of paper and carried out of the room... she tried to free herself from the arms that held her firmly so she wouldn't try to escape but she couldn't... and as she was carried out of the room, her eyes met with his... this ocean blue eyes.... they were cold and lifeless... they didn't look mesmerized to her anymore.... instead, they looked like the eyes of a monster! A monster that had held her captive...

Lana glared at him and felt hatred for this man that she didn't know started to fill her heart... she continued to stare at him with so much anger in her eyes till she could no longer see him... She wasn't going to give up so easily! She was sick and tired of being treated like this! Lana vowed then and there that she was going to escape her captor...
